Re: Question about map/cities/towns
You are correct, Ally. It wasn’t just one faction. I know of several bases that were armed to the teeth and back. :p

I didn't intend to make it sound singular.

Re: Question about map/cities/towns
true, but faction forts are kinda...useless anyways, so.PsychoCliff wrote:I should point out having multiple traps in one location once made one's faction base near impossible to attack the members who would be on the top floor while everyone else had to fight their way up.
Edited to make what I meant clearer.

No one is pvping anymore on a large scale.
Allowing 3 or 4 traps per square instead of like 7-8 I think is fair.
Why are you taking me through troubled waters, I asked? Because your enemies cannot swim, he replied.

Re: Question about map/cities/towns
If no one is pvping, why need the traps?

Re: Question about map/cities/towns
I have two ideas on traps:
- raise the cap to 2 per a square and see how that goes
- for private buildings - allow flexible placement of traps up to the number of traps the floor could normally hold. For for a 7x7 floor, you'd have 49 traps to place how ever you want.
I think the first idea is easiest to code though
@Cliff - I think the idea is to kick start PVP a bit

Re: Question about map/cities/towns
Uh, this discussion was about traps in OTHER AREAS that will allow more pvp back to basic roots (to some basic roots).
There would be a need for traps if we could go back to some of the other ways there were in those new areas/cities.

Re: Question about map/cities/towns
I was under the impression that Blood is the PvP/grid heavy area, and Path was the RP?
Its one of reason I didn't go to Blood.

Oh man, those were the good old days! On one hand I am glad my gals aren't targets anymore cus all those free trips to the SR cost a lost of levelling. But on the other hand? Some of those fights were totally EPIC. <3
@ Cliffy... yeah it was supposed to be, and that was why I DID join Blood. It didn't turn out to be how I expected it to be, however.
