This.

Experience, as you'd be getting XP instead of RPP.Vexen wrote:If you were to get rid of RPP - how would we continue to gain RP powers?
Most likely you'd get XP and cash for each post.Vexen wrote: @David: My other question was to ask how it would work exactly. Would we post something, and then have the option on the 'successful posting' screen to choose how we wanted it converted? What ratio would it be at? Like, if we posted 1,500 words, what amount of experience would we gain?
I'm concerned about those that prefer the forum over the grid. Personally, I enjoy both about equally, as there's a different flavor for each sector, but there are those that like the challenge of working towards the RPP to reach a specific RP power for their character. I'd hate to see that taken away from them, especially if it were to only resort to the choices of experience or cash.
Pretty much this. The more it's explained, the more I feel like it wouldn't be something enjoyable. Like I mentioned before, the difference in gaining exp and rpp is fun. Also, I don't like the idea that it sounds like in order to add flavor to your character with an RP power, you would have to choose between going backwards in your leveling or gaining that power, as you would use exp to do it.Jesse Fforde wrote:I wouldn't do away with RPP. I'm sure I'm not the only one who gets a thrill seeing how much RPP each post nets. And what would happen to RP levels? I like gaining levels there. I aim for that.
