Dawn smirked, at his words. He may or may not have been drinking, but she actually had, since she was able to still enjoy the pleasures of the human world, despite the fact that she drank blood and burned in the sun. So when he said that they had only had a single glass, she looked to her own which had been emptied sometime during his story. The only thing that kept her from ordering more had been the fact that she had enjoyed hearing about his life before he had come to Harper Rock.

Still, she didn't mind the idea of taking a walk with the guy, after all, what could possibly happen. Well, he could probably kill her, but so far she didn't pick up on anything other than flirting. The only signal that sent off in her was that he probably wanted to get into her pants. She wasn't that type of girl though. So good luck to him there in that case. It normally took three or four dates before she thought about sleeping with someone. When he told her to face the music and then asked her about herself, she smiled and leaned against the bar, running her finger around the rim of her glass.

"Well, I was born in Alaska, found out early on in my life that I was a vampire, that I would always need blood because I can't make my own and that I burned in the sun. Which wasn't so bad in Winter, but in Summer it sucked more than I ever could. The only thing that helped with my hunger pains was singing, being in front of people and seeing how my music brought them happiness. My band watches over me like a bunch of big brothers, but they also know who brings in the money and signs their checks." She said with a soft smile, "Then one day I got a call, the caller said that he knew how to 'cure' me of my disease or at very least, make it so that I don't have to feed as often. I found out later, he thought I was something else, and then he turned me into another kind of monster. Now I feed off my own kind. I have to say though, it helps. It really does help with my hunger."

She smiled a bit, before she came to Harper Rock, before she became what she was, she had to feed every day. Normally feeding on one of her band mates, or if there was a really loyal fan she would feed on them. Now, by feeding on her own kind, she was able to go weeks without needing to feed. Their power flowed through her for at least two weeks. Dawn looked to him and then hopped from her stool. "That is basically the story of how I got here. You said you wanted to get out of here though?" She asked with a soft smirk as she looked over to the coat check for a moment then back to him.

Leon, upon paying both drinks noticed hers was gone, it must be nice to be able to still have food, Leon didn't had any fancy meals on his whole life but still some things were worth tasting, no point reflecting on it that was that and this was this, he noticed Dawn eyeing him after his invite for some fresh air, while technically speaking, there was nothing wrong with what he said, the question still remained as to how much weight his words should be given by Dawn, as they had just met. Under normal circumstances, he would just shrug it off, but her alertness was nothing but logic. "I hope you're not getting any troubles from feeding from other vampires" Leon added with a bit of concern.

“Time to go.” Leon realized certain things after a few days of observation upon learning of this city and its inhabitants. When there are no specific rules for some part of the undead society, they seemed to take seriously secrecy and consequences to certain actions. Even the relationship between two vampires seemed to mirror that of their living life. In some respects, it was like reliving the times with the endless night as the stage.

"Quite an interesting story, beats mine by a while league" The night was cold but it wasn't a problem they couldn't take Dawn had her coat and Leon had the jacket he had brought along on his exploring before entering to the club, it was still early and the sky had no major clouds covering the moon or the countless stars, even so Leon decided to go trough the streets more walked, he didn't particularly cared but he wasn't gonna go out his way to freak out Dawn, in disregard of whatever she may think of him she was good company "so, where would you like to go? im still new so im bound to be amused by your choice"

Dawn smiled a bit as she shook her head, "I haven't been in trouble yet, at least, not for feeding on the willing. Those that weren't so willing..." She gave a playful shrug and a coy smile as she looked up at him. "I may have pissed off my fair share of my own kind, but it happens when you are as I am." She said and then she started to make her way over to the coat check so that she could get her coat back, after all, it was one of her favorites. She looked at him as he spoke about her story being better than his, personally, she wasn't the kind of girl to think that one person's story could be better or worse than the other, they were unique to their owners. She smiled and nodded to him though and motioned for him with a tilt of her head.

Once they were outside, Dawn pulled her coat a little tighter around herself, letting the warmth of it cocoon her for a moment before she smiled up at him. Her long white hair flowed over the white of the coat, looking as if they were one and in the night, with it calm now and no wind, it was an even harder call for most. "Hmmm, well if you want amusing I can think of a lot of places that we can go, but for new people to the city, I think there are some places that I could introduce you too that you will find helpful. Or there is another place I can show you... tell me something. Have you seen that TV show in the U.S. I think it's called The Walking Dead?"

She figured one place that was good for those new to this life, that was a great place to go. After all, she often spotted a lot of people in the lobby of her apartment building, all of them killing and attacking zombies. Yeah, zombies, that had taken her a few months to wrap her head around. Now, it didn't bother her, hell sometimes she joined in on the killing to clear out the place, but not so much now that she often spent her time in the slums killing gangsters and cleaning up the streets. Her bright eyes turned once again onto the larger male as she smiled up at him, her fangs flashing slightly.

Until now, Leon was stronger than anyone he had encountered among humans. However, that did not translate into being stronger than anyone in the world. In addition, Leon was now undead, and from the terrified reaction of the humans in folk stories, he was fully aware of the place of undead in this world. He had to be aware that since most humans would hate him, they might well attack him. Thus, he had to tread very carefully here. "lets see this place, i would be interested seeing how my moves got" He added turning to Dawn and giving her a small smile.

"Well anybody who is living life has to piss off somebody at some point, and well its good you get your nourishment" He needed to learn the strength of those zombies along with some of this city common sense. Without that knowledge, things would be troublesome in the future. However, not knowing the about other creatures besides vampires was quite suspicious, and he wanted to keep a low profile while he learned more about this world so he smiled at Dawn and tried not to swarm her with questions, returning her lovely smile with one of his, even if it ninety percent of the time it looked like a grin.

He thought of the crowded streets of New York and its lack of anyone worthwhile, and just as he was hoping not to see something like that in here he advanced along at Dawns side even if he was just following her lead, the night was still clear and his instincts told him that they had plenty of time to wander around and do nothing, the fun kind of nothing.

He seemed interested in the place that she had in mind and she stopped for a moment to get her bearings. She looked up one way of the street and down the other, contemplating which way would be quicker, and then she glanced up at Leon again and smiled as she once again gave a slight nod of her head. “I had to remember which way would be fastest for us for a moment. At the moment, I do not carry the right power to speed across the city, or even to teleport us. Both very useful skills if you wish to get from one side of the city to the other as quickly as possible.”

She had to giggle the one time she had taken the powers that would allow her to speed from one side of the city to the other but had not quite got the hang of it and ended up using one of the other powers, showing them to a few choice humans that had been standing around. She could hear them call her out as a vampire, and she couldn’t help but think ‘it’s about damn time you blind sheep.’ For years she had called herself a vampire, and of course, they always laughed her off, thinking of course that she was just insane or just playing a role to make herself more popular with the teen and young adult world in music.

Dawn lead him towards the Newborough station and then took a seat on one of the benches as she waited for one of the buses to show. She looked to him and smiled, “This place is a bit hard to find if you don’t know where you are going, but there are a few ways to get there, and most of them are pretty much the same distance but there is one place that is closer that I have discovered.” She said as she continued to stare at the larger male, he looked so much taller, so much bigger when she was seated as she was. Pulling her coat a little tighter around herself, she glanced away from the male for a moment to look for the bus, but it still was a ways off she could guess since she couldn’t see it.

At that moment, the wind blew her hair away from her neck and she canted her head to the side, enjoying the way that the wind threaded through her hair like fingers. The motion bared her neck for a moment, despite the high fur collar of her coat.
