Re: Only gay in the village?
Habren Ashe is bi, and committed to Mircea
Yekaterina Ostrovsky is hetero-flexible. Straight mostly, but she hasn't been known to turn a woman down in the right situation.
Stefano Lucchina is straight, and committed to Aura
Andrew Belanger is bi/questioning/leaning toward gay
Cosette is... unknown, which is an oddity for me. Usually, that's one of the first things my characters disclose to me. I think she's straight, or thinks she is, but more likely inexperienced and hasn't had time to figure it out.

Re: Only gay in the village?
Most of my characters are pansexual, usually with a particularly strong primary attraction to men or people who identify as male, with no strong secondary attraction towards any specific gender. Usually, this is misclassed as gay. Over the years, I've become less and less in love with the idea of labeling character sexuality, because I think it tends to be something that evolves organically during someone's lifetime, so in that way, I guess my personal beliefs somewhat shade how I view my boys and their preferences.

^ I pretty much think that's a decent way to sum up the majority of my girls.
And makes sense to me.

Re: Only gay in the village?
As far as I've been able to count, there are about 25 people on the list so far.
I would add a table, but something's screwing up in the code... part of the table code is appearing under my signature instead of the post body.
Weird.

Re: Only gay in the village?
Azraeth hit the nail on the head so eloquently.
Both my characters have strayed from their predominant orientation at some point in their pre-Harper Rock life, putting them at a 2 on the Kinsey scale, meaning: Predominantly heterosexual, but more than incidentally homosexual. Given the opportunity hereinafter, if chemistry between characters is obvious, the gender and physical sex will be of no consequence. I'm open to plots that would lead to development on this front.
