Only gay in the village?

For a long time I've been considering Myk the only gay in Harper Rock right now.

That's not strictly true considering he'll actually bend any which way, but, I'm wondering where all the homosexual male characters are.

I haven't seen one in forever. O.O

Am I blind?

Sorry for the late reply, but no Myk is not the only bi/gay character. Nikolae is written as bi, though he hasn't been smitten with anyone in some time (he's kind of a cold hearted ******** these days). His childe, Azraeth is the same last I knew. My human character, Jaxon, is also gay.

But you're right - there just isn't a lot of writing in that direction lately. There used to be a handful of gay couples a couple years ago though. Not sure what happened there. =[

Just to make it clear, this thread is a general inquiry into the mix of characters here. Don’t feel like, if you reply, you’re going to have Myk pounce on your character. That won’t happen. I’m not going to force anyone to write with me!

I’m just looking around lately and thinking, “Wow… I swear I write the only gay characters here.”

I want to be proven wrong.

Not that I don’t love all you straight people, of course I do, but I’m just looking for some contrast of flavour around here.

And no worries. I'd been thinking for years that Niko and Az were the only ones around til I caught a post of yours a few months back. Kind of a bummer but I guess it comes with the territory of a smaller roleplaying community.

And yeah your not alone! I thought my charries were the only lesbians around tbf not that I minded. Nishaa wasn't originally made to be in a relationship. I always played her as a player until she got lassoed down by Marjani. Yay!

I was never meant to be normal. My characters had no chance. LOL

I never want to plan relationships either. They should just happen or not. The best ones aren't planned, I think.
