Mortll did not quite care if anyone had seen her nude or even in a intimate situation ... hell she would probably strip off and streak through the bar with 100 cell phones taping her the whole time she was doing it . It was the fact that her private place had been invaded . Her sanctuary the place she could relax, rest and be at ease. Who the **** would care enough about what she did to even bother with this sort of thing it boggled her mind but she wanted to know. She was resigned to the possibility that she wouldn't be able find out who had done this but she was damn sure she was going to give it her best shot .
She glanced at Doc, it had been a few months since they had started dating had it been smooth and easy the whole way No .. had they just seemed to work. They talked and hade fun together when things got too crazy they seemed to gravitate to one another and just loose themselves in a little world of their own ... now someone was messing with that world and It ******* pissed her off .
She pulled a pad and a pen out of her purse wrote down the address... she handed it to Mordie ... "Here is the address to the place. I will have Jareth call you with his findings. He said if he found any bugs he would leave them in place and mark them so you could trace any feeds. Could you please make sure the place is totally clean. I would so really appreciate it ... and how is Kennedy doing ... I haven't caught her at work lately ... She does such a good job on the shows and such ?"
His girlfriend had long worked as Mortll's head of entertainment at Jarden De Fleurs. The woman was a particularly talented dancer who had started as a cashier Mortll had quickly seen her talent as she used her stage to practice in her off time and they had cooked up a dance program for the place now weekly there were dancers flitting about the place putting on a acrobatics show for the audiences fairy's and elves dancing through the flowers and trees to give the place a very magical feel to it . It brought in a off seasonal crowd that lasted all through the winter months .
Mortll slid onto the nearest stool and studied the big killers face . The man was never much on showing emotion he was the steady straight forward no ******** all business type Mortll tended to gravitate to . The overly emotional types tended to make her cringe and she avoided them like the plague. Some would call her cold ... other than a friendly demeanor that she used for every day life she didn't let many see who she really was. When she looked back at Doc then to Mordie she realized she was in the presence of the 2 people she probably trusted most at the moment.

Doc waved his hand negatively in answer to the question about a drink. He wasn't able to ingest anything except blood. Oh he had tried. One of the loves of his life had been coffee. He had been what one would call a coffee connoisseur or coffee snob. He knew the proper way to pull a Cafe American or an Espresso. No decent barrister would pull an espresso faster than 24 seconds. But now, now he was relegated to nothing more than an observer to those that can eat and drink ‘human’ food.
Doc had been about to ask Mordechai about the process involved with tracking the email and the video, until he heard the words ‘Midknight Armaments’. He lifted an eyebrow in recognition of the name. “I was just there.. I am eyeing a Colt Python you have there. I went by there the other day and I happened to see Madison working her magic with mechanics in the window.. cutely clad I might add.” Doc smirked and then he canted his slightly to one side.
“I have tried my hand at mechanic. I will be honest, I ******* bored with it. But I am interested in how long does it take to put together a high quality, highly accurate pistol? I am looking for a handgun, not a rifle, with excellent specs.” he paused, “Also I do not want rapid fire. What would something like that set me back? And, what kind of guarantee do you give with custom made weapons?”

Re: A Doctor,a Neromancer,& a Brobdingnag walk Into a Bar(D
Mordechai leaned silently against the wall, listening to his companions continue the discussion over their problem. He had known Mortll almost since his turning, at least, after he decided to meet some of his sire's spawn and friends. She had always seemed straight forward, and he had no problem looking into this 'situation' for her and her compadre. The male, Doc, he had seen in passing a few times, and remembered he had been in the shop looking over the small selection of revolvers they stocked, and had paused to watch the guest artisan, Madison, assembling high quality custom weapons for the upscale, demanding customer that frequented his shop. Lifting his glass he took another sip, wondering if their refusal was because they did not know the contents, assuming he was one of those emotional allurists, forever emulating the humans they had surpassed. As if it were a glass of hot beverage, he blew a cooling breeze across it, knowing that it would bring the scent of fresh blood to the sensitive noses of his new acquaintance.
Turning to face Mortll he responded to her question about his mate. "My kennedy fairs well. She excels at her crafting, and has been bringing home many jewels from the caves east of Moss End. She has become quite an accomplished hunter." He paused, and felt a warming sense of pride as he thought of her and listened to Mortll praise her accomplishments at Jardin. She was praising [his] kennedy. The corners of his lips lifted slightly, a sure sign that he was ecstatically pleased. "She speaks often of the Gardens, and her joy and love of working there"
Taking another sip of fresh blood from his colored glass, he let his eyes rove over the crowds once more, they were getting Boisterous as time moved on and alcohol flowed, but there was still no sign of a pending outburst of stupidity from amongst the gathered bovines. They seemed content to just ratchet their volume as the night went on, without causing a disturbance, at least tonight. Although his onyx colored eyes had wandered, his ears and mind had stayed with those seeking his services, and he turned his attention back when Doc mentioned stopping into the shop to watch Madison perform, and to study the Colt Python in the display cases. A chuckle rumbled from deep inside the massive chest as Doc mentioned Madison's uniform.
"I must be honest, I overheard you at the auction. I did not know you, but you were in the company of one that i have met for a variety of reasons over the last few years." Pausing he took a long draught finishing off the blood filled tumbler and set it in the drip rail of the bar, signalling the barkeep 'no more' before continuing. "It has been suggested that I work on my sense of humor. As you and Velveteen both were laughing over your suggestion, I assumed that it would be considered humorous to obtain one as a work uniform." A slight frown creased his brow, "I also got her a tub of high grade beeswax, but apparently I misunderstood your conversation, as she said that was not the wax to which Velveteen had referred. According to Madison, paraffin wax was not acceptable either." A slight shrug of the wide set shoulders and the killer got down to business.
"Colt Python. Many experts, such as Jeff Cooper, an expert almost without parallel, have written thousands of articles on this offering from Colt. Cooper was an advocate of large caliber weapons, but he described the Colt Python as 'the finest production revolver ever made', even though it is only a .357MAG. It is a beautiful example of the premier workmanship of the Colt artisans of that time period." Lifting his stetson he ran the fingers of his right hand through his hair before continuing. "Before I go off on too much of a tangent, I am going to assume that from your other requirements you are looking for a working weapon, not just a showpiece to sit under glass. If that is the case, I am not sure the Python is what you should be looking at. This city presents some unique situations and opportunities, that a .357 just is not up for. Although the Python ended production in 2005, we at midknight armaments can keep yours fully functional, looking and performing like new, unless you... for example use it as a log splitter or a hammer." The killer raised an appraising eyebrow before letting his dissertation begin anew. "My recommendation, if the Python has truly caught your eye, is to go with its bigger brother, the Colt Anaconda. A visual twin almost, it fires the much more potent .44 Remington Magnum, called misleadingly the most powerful pistol cartridge by none other than the venerable Harold Francis Callahan. Known to friends and enemies alike as ''Dirty Harry". While this model has been out of production for almost fifteen years, I can promise you the same level of quality workmanship, and level of service as our company would with any other weapon purchased from us.
For our discerning customers, every weapon is completely disassembled, and all parts are fun on a Browne and Sharpe optical comparator against replicas of the actual design prints of the manufacturer. We guarantee that any weapon purchased from us is of higher quality, and more reliable than when it rolled off the line or out of the custom center of its respective manufacturer." Another pause as the killer stood, stretching to his full seven foot height and cracking the muscles of his neck. Reaching out Mordechai caught Doc's bicep, giving it an appraising squeeze. "Hmm not too bad." Lowering his voice so that only the two before him could hear, and that only because of their preternatural senses, once more the killer began his sales pitch, "If you want my true opinion, and you plan on using this purchase for the eradication of things that most humans don't believe in. I have a little something that I built myself, that will be much more suited for 'our' life, then even the .44 Remington Magnum."
"You see the keywords I mentioned earlier when discussing the Colts, were "Production Revolvers." Once you go beyond production, another whole realm opens up. A company down in Brazil called Taurus, has quietly been building a reputation for producing some of the finest revolvers on the market today. I recently came across a fine model called the Raging Bull. It incorporates many of the features that made the Python and its derivatives so remarkable. It has many features designed to increase strength and rigidity. A full length under barrel lug helps with heat dissipation and barrel rigidity, decrease the barrel flex of high power loads that cause you to have ‘fliers’ and ‘stringers’ on the range. The Raging Bull only has a five shot cylinder, due to the fact that it is loaded in the infamous .454 Causull. The Casull has and does holds world records for Cape buffalo, rhino, elephant, and hippo. It is what the discerning hunter would be happy to have wandering caverns filled with Trayonic bears and titan mooncalves. The Casull has sixty percent more muzzle energy than a standard .44 Remington Magnum. Enough about the cartridge, on to the weapon. "
"When I received it, the first thing i did was to strip it completely and soak it in Hoppe’s #9 to dissolve any and all hidden carbon and powder deposits. After the thorough cleaning, the hammer and sear were honed and polished to bring the single action trigger pull to two and one half pounds, with a crisp break and no creep. The cylinder itself was hand lapped to match tolerances and all edges were given a forty-five thousandths radius to eliminate any catching and to increase reloading speed. All outside edges of the frame and hammer were deburred and lightly hand chamfered with a one thousand grit Japanese waterstone. This will resist snagging of clothes and holster as you draw. Something your life may depend on. When all was finished, the exterior was repolished to a matte finish, to prevent reflection drawing attention to you, and finally, all mated and moving surfaces were coated with a dry moly-bendium and graphite powder that works its way into the surface pores and provides long lasting premium lubrication, with no liquid to gum in the cold and slow the action. If you wish, you can stop by the shop, and take a look, and use my personal indoor range to try it out."
Suddenly the vampire froze. The normally laconic male killer would seldom string more than three sentences together in a conversation. He had learned it was much better to listen, than to speak. His actions were his language. Mordechai realized he had just prattled on, dominating the conversation like an allurist would. His mind weighed the information trying to sort if this was part of the change he was trying to initiate, or if something else was happening all together. Either way, he did know that this behavior was considered rude in many circles, and was not good business behavior. The killer shook his head to clear his thoughts before raising his eyes to his companions once more. “I apologize for the rambling dissertation that I am sure has sent you into a bored daze. I am not sure what happened. I have been practicing a few behavior modification techniques on the advice of others, and I think this may be an unforeseen consequence. Again, I apologize."

Mortll sat listening as the conversation turned towards Guns Mordie could go on about guns all day long he usually did not say much of anything unless you brought up guns ...she never failed to learn something which was a plus . She really preferred cold hard steel she liked the feel of it in her hands as it sliced through the air just to hit its mark and skink in. She would sit some nights sharpening her knives and swords the sound of the steel moving down the stone giving a sharp snick as the swipe ended it was almost like a comforting lullaby.
She smiled as he went on she could probably use another high powered gun but what she was really looking for was a new sword something lite weight but with enough heft on the end to have real power when it struck its target. She always wanted a good knife as well something about feeling a knife drive home to its mark the solid crunch of bone breaking beneath a powerful thrust made her smile every time .
Glancing over at Doc this was his type of conversation he loved guns. Their workings and could discuss models and features more in depth than she ever could. A smile spread on her face as she continued to listen. When Mordie finally broke off " No your just fine Hun I love It when you talk about guns one of these days I might actually be educated enough on them to keep up with you " she gave a soft laugh .

Re: A Doctor,a Neromancer,& a Brobdingnag walk Into a Bar(D
Doc lifted an eyebrow as Mordechai warmed to his subject. It was clear, he -was- the man to ask about such matters as firearms. His own experience with firearm weapons, had been brief, a scant three years. But he was a reader and knew how to research. Which is how he found found out about the Colt Python. What he did not know was ‘practical use’ of the weapon; and this is where Mordechai excelled. Mordechai was able to take the firearm in question and apply it to the scenarios that Doc would need. He was impressed.
“No..” Doc held up a hand and nodded in agreement with Mortll, “Do not apologize. You have no idea how hard it is to find someone who is educated on a subject, that will stay on the subject, discussing the merits of the subject versus, boosting their own agenda. I ******* appreciate that, one, you know the subject matter, two you can speak about it without talking down to me, and three you can speak intelligently about the practical use of the firearm.
“It is refreshing to speak with someone that isn’t trying to act like they know everything, when it’s clear they don’t, just so they can lord it over someone.” He nodded, “So the Anaconda hmm? I can’t I have looked into that one, I will research it however. Stopping power is plus. As a collector, I wanted the Python as daily use, but to be honest, the Anaconda does seem like a better fit. Until you mentioned a custom build.. that has a lot of allure to it as well. From what you described, it sounds like you put a lot of detail into the parts. What would a custom like you describe, with say a five pound pull, set me back?”

Re: A Doctor,a Neromancer,& a Brobdingnag walk Into a Bar(D
Mortll had sat quietly through his dissertation, he knew she was more into swords and knives, but he was like the American Telephone & Telegraph of old, he liked to 'reach out and touch someone' from a distance. Up close and personal was fine, if you were not worried about repercussions, but two hundred fifty grains of lead was a cure for almost all problems. The killer listened closely as Doc mulled over the options aloud. He spoke of the Python, and the reason he considered it, and of not hearing of the Anaconda before. Mordechai nodded in agreement. Almost everyone had heard of the Python, and it had played prominently in many movies, where as the Anaconda was a much more obscure offering of Colt's. The forty four that had made it big, was Harry Callahan's Smith & Wesson 29... no one argues with Dirty Harry.
Pausing a moment before answering Doc's query, he knew he would have to explain a little more about the Casull, in regards to the trigger pull. The words straight in his mind he began. "A much shorter lesson this time, I promise. You must remember that the Raging Bull is a double action revolver. Like most double action revolvers, it has the capability of being fired both double action and single action. double action for the hurried quick first shot in defense of health and hearth, single action when you have time to prepare, and want the smooth release for an accurate shot." A momentary pause gave the killer time to down the last of his 'bloody mary' before continuing. "Polishing and hand lapping of the sear and action have already reduced the single action pull down to two pounds twelve ounces, no creep, no backlash, smooth as silk. At present the double action trigger weight hovers at nine pounds, thirteen ounces. While I could lower it more by changing out the hammer spring for a lighter one, you must keep in mind two things.
One, in double action, the pull is inherently higher as the trigger movement must both **** the hammer, and rotate the cylinder. The cylinder action on this pistol is as smooth and frictionless as I am able to make it, however...
Two the four fifty four casull uses a large rifle primer, not a pistol primer. these primer are much harder to set off due to the high spring rate in a rifle, where you are using a bolt, lever, pump, recoil, gas, some type of force multiplier to compress it. In a revolver, it is your one finger, and the trigger. My fear at lowering the springs compression rate any more, is that the hammer will not strike with sufficient force and velocity to ignite the primer. If this were to happen, you would be leaving yourself open to return fire."
Turning slightly to fully face the man as he considered the price question, "You are a friend of Mortll's and most of the work was done myself. I am sure you would agree that for a piece of work like this that would be a tremendous deal at twenty two hundred USD. That is less than an untouched Freedom Arms mod 83 costs stock."

note the referenced price refers to RL type price, not the over inflated in game auction prices for a weapon of that type

Mortll just looked between the 2 men she was out of this race. Doc knew more about guns than she did and he damn sure knew what he liked . Her only purpose in seeking out Mordie had been his diligence and ability to find things others may have overlooked and his hacking skills . She was still livid that someone had invaded her space The video snippet that had been sent to Doc hadn't been long or bad in fact they could have probably shown the whole session and Mortll wouldn't have cared who had seen it . It was the fact they were in her home ... She liked her private moments she wanted to know who was that damn keen on watching her . She finally let out a small laugh . "Why don't you stop by his shop hun and look at all the guns that way you can pick them up test them out and see what you got a feel for ?"
