Wandering the streets

Post by Nick Bowstrong »

Nick idlly walked through the streets as he wondered what to do that night. An air of confidence and sexuality seemed to emanate from him and he knew that the women he passed were turning to look at him as he moved through the streets. Now and again he would take advantage of it by plucking a purse here, or sinking his fangs in there - but it bored him. He liked the chase and the hunt and with these newfound abilities the humans weren't giving him much of a challenge - however the pyresses......

He thought about Bella and smiled. His plan was coming along nicely and he thought she were slowly falling for him just as he'd hoped. She wasn't a bad lay - she certainly learnt quickly enough and had her own ideas and intuition as to what to do and how to do it. Now all that needed done was to open her up to a few more things and Nick would probably have himself a very willing **** toy. His smile grew as he considered that, thinking how good it was to always have a body to keep him 'warm' at night. He just needed to decide what experience to open her up to next and this he would decide the next time he saw her and guaged her moods and thoughts.

His mind flicked from Bella and a picture of his Cherry filled his mind. He chuckled as he thought of her with her pink, PINK hair and tactile ways. She was more of a challenge, but he'd managed to wiggle his way into her life too - but in a different way to Bella. He was now the one Cherry turned to when she needed a shoulder or a hug. He'd made sure to treat her as a woman, to ask her opinions and to listen when she talked then consider her ideas. He treated her as an equal and so he'd become her favorite uncle and confidante - able to see through her ploys and guises with a single glance.

Then there was Skuld. He couldn't quite work her out. When he'd first met her she was child-like, scared and flighty. However a few nights later when he'd met her in the bar she was like a predator who knew what she wanted, knew what she needed and wasn't afraid to get it. And it was that predatorial side that turned him on no end. It was a little of the fire that Sarah herself had.

Sarah.... His face grinned. He knew that none could ever satisfy him like she could and he knew that she was his match in every way. However, he wouldn't be him if he didn't push the limits and test her will. She had known what he was like when she'd met him - though he guessed that she hadn't let herself fully believe it. There was an attraction between the two of them that scared them both and they let a lot a slide for fear of losing themselves to one another. He didn't know what he'd become if he let himself go with her, to fall unrestricted - and so he kept himself barriered and kept her angry with his dalliances and schemes. And he wondered how big the explosion would be when she caught wind of what he was currently up to. He only hoped he could catch her before things got too out of hand....

He'd not seen Sarah for a while now and he wondered if she'd perhaps been killed and sent to the shadow realm place he'd heard about. No matter where she was however, he knew she could take care of herself - and if it turned out that someone had touched her. He would kill them.

As he turned a corner a leaflet fluttered by and he instinctively reached out and grabbed it from mid-air. He brought it up to look at and scanned it over. Blinking in surprise, he leant against a building and read it over more thoroughly until his face cracked into a grin. Apartments were for sale in the city for very reasonable prices - and here was him still staying in a hotel. He quickly found the address of the agents who were selling the homes and then made his way to their doors.

Peering through the windows he saw one woman who was obviously working late and finishing up her paperwork and he grinned. Lifting his hand he gently tapped on the window to get her attention and then gave her his best smile through the glass as he pointed to the lock on the door. She seemed to hesitate but when he turned his look into his best pleading puppy she couldn't resist and came to open the door.

Can I help you?

Yes Madame, you surely can. I found this leaflet he brandished it while laying on a thick French accent at a very opportune moment. You see, I have moved here with the promise of a house - all the way from France. And unfortunately when I got here I find that the house is no longer mine. Now me and my wife are homeless and living in a very small hotel room. Can you 'elp?

She seemed to once again hesitate, and lifted her eyebrow to cast her gaze up and down him. He quickly allowed a cloud of both charm and seduction to ooze from him and engulf her until hse smiled and nodded, opening the door to him.

Yes, of course. Please come in and we'll find you something soon enough!

He walked in and took her hand, bowing and kissing it softly by way of thanks.

Thank you Madame. You will make my wife and I most happy!

They both made their way over to her desk where she started showing him a number of apartments in a tower block called Beta Towers. Each one he shook his head at because it wasn't private enough or it wasn't big enough or it didn't have enough rooms. Then when he saw a large picture of the towers from the outside he pointed to the very top.

Madame, what about the penthouse? You have not shown me it yet and I would surely like to see and probably buy!

She shook her head with an apologetic look on her face.

No Sir, I'm afraid someone has already reserved the penthouse suite and also put a down payment on it. A lovely couple they are and will make you some wonderful neighbours I'm sure.

He frowned, creasing his forehead as he shook his head. He knew that he needed the penthouse, needed a floor to himself where he could line the floors to stop people from knocking through and to soundproof them - without the worry of nosey neighbours knocking on walls or enemies trying to come through. The level of charm he was using on the woman obviously wasn't strong enough so he upped the level on her. He moved forwards in his seat and clasped her little hand in his large ones as his eyes opened wide to make him seem more vulnerable and cute. Then in his deep voice which he softened he purred at her through the spell.

Madame, I am sure these people are wonderful - however I really must insist that the penthouse be mine. I will pay you over the odds for it and the wonderful couple may take the next suite in the next tower. You wouldn't want a pregnant lady, her husband and their young son not to have a home would you?

He had spotted the pictures of children on the woman's desk and had seen the artwork that was stuck to the drawers of her desk where most couldn't see it, so used children as a ploy to tug at her heart strings. And it worked. He saw her determination break behind her eyes as he mentioned he had a son and her features immediately softened as she nodded her head and his influence took her completely.

Of course not. No Sir! You shall have the penthouse and you shall have it tonight. If you could just sign these then I will give you the keys once payment has been finalised.

She slid him a bundle of papers and he quickly signed them all where she pointed him to. He was getting tired and it was taking a lot to hold this level of charm and seduction over her. He knew that if he didn't finalise the deal soon then his influence would fail and she would once again return to her senses.

Papers signed he handed over his card and she processed the payment for him without a problem and then handed him the keys.

There you are Sir. You are now the proud owner of the penthouse suite in Beta Towers. I hope you enjoy your time there and should you need anything..... ANYTHING - then please do not hesitate to call.

He gave her a smile and kissed her on the cheek while caressing the hand she'd lain on his arm. He knew what she'd meant when she'd stressed the word anything, but he already had all he needed and wanted from her. Standing up he thanked her profusely and with the keys and paperwork in hand he left the offices swiftly and headed straight for his new home to crash out on the floor and regain his energy and strength.

Nick woke up from where he'd fallen asleep on the floor the night before - only to find his arm freshly sliced. He sat up immediately and examined the wound, swearing and cursing loudly. It was a fairly deep gash which made him wince as he touched it. He ripped a piece of his blood soaked shirt off and tied it around his arm in a makeshift bandage before he stood up and - a little unsteadily - made his way to the door. He reached out and found the handle already bloody from where the attacker had abviously left. Turning the handle the door opened with ease and he cursed his stupidity. He'd forgotten to lock the door behind him when he'd come in and while other vampyres couldn't enter without an invitation, the humand who hunted his kind had no qualms whatsoever!

With a growl he slammed the door shut and headed back inside and over to the sink in the kitchen. Running the tap for a moment he used the ice cold crystal clear water to rinse away the blood that had dried on his shoulder, neck and arm. Removing his shirt completely, he examined the vest he wore and found it to have survived unscathed by his rogue blood. So binning the shirt, he headed back to the door in just his vest after running his wet hands through his hair to slick it back. He had to find some blood to replace what had been lost.

He stepped from his suite and closed the door behind him, making sure to lock it this time, then headed for the elevator. Any who saw him tonight would more than likely steer clear because the look on his face spelled trouble. He decided to start in the apartment block he now lived in and systematically moved from floor to floor on his search for humans to feed from. It was easy work for him, a little seduction, a little charm. A flash of a smile or a wink of an eye and they all let him do whatever he wanted to them. He was almost full, with that light headed and sleepy feeling just coming over his senses - but he wanted one more. Just one more and then he would go home again for another snooze. And just one more proved to be one more too many.

He approached her the same way he had with all of the others. A small cough behind her to let her know he was there and then a charming smile as he moved closer. A little exertion of his will as he went in to bite - and then it all went wrong. She sprang away from him, turning in a fluid pirouette and bringing a gun out from the waistband of her trousers. He was still drowsy from the blood he'd drunk earlier and wasn't on his best game so ended up watching her move so gracefully in a state of shock.

As her spin stopped and she took her stance, a moment of clarity came to him and he lunged for her with his fangs bared. His hand connected with her head at the same moment he heard the gun go off. Luckily his momentum carried him through and his fist connected with her temple, driving her skull into the wall and crushing it to kill her instantly. However, the bullet hit it's mark also and as her body crumpled to the floor - so did his.

A few nights had past since his encounter with the huntress in the corridor of his building, and he still had the wound to prove it. He found he couldn't think as well as he had been able to, the points of logic he would normally fly with ease to seemed blurred and just out of his reach and his head pounded like a ***********. His hand reached up to gently touch the barely scabbed over bullet hole in the side of his head and immediately growled at the pain he felt.

What's with people wanting to hit me in the head and face?!

He mumbled softly to himself, shaking his head lightly but quickly holding it still as his ears began to ring and the dizziness struck again. He was fed up with being cooped up in his penthouse so he decided to head on out into the city to see if perhaps the fresh air would clear his head. He stepped out into the hall and straight into the elevator with a smile - he did so love having a floor to himself. Straight down to the ground floor he went, deciding that if another hunter were lurking one of the other residents could have the pleasure this time.

He headed out through the doors and into the moonlit night air and took a deep breath in to perhaps try the human manner by which to clear ones head. And surprisingly - it seemed to work a little. He headed for the park first and took up shelter on a bench under a large tree. However it wasn't long before he sensed he had company, and before he turned around there was a voice breaking the night air and laughter that could only belong to one Scorpia. He smirked softly, knowing that it would be an interesting exchange - especially when she turned up as if entering a wet T-shirt competition.

A few barbed exchanges later and failed dominance on her part and he had her pinned under him. She couldn't move and fight as she might there was no way she was strong enough to lift him from her - however he had a notion that she wasn't trying particularly hard. His grin grew wicked, evil almost. He was going to give her what she'd been asking for for so long, hinting at it over text and on CrowNet - and he was going to do it with or without her permission.

Not so long after she lay in a small heap, panting and moaning in ecstacy as he stepped away to survey the blood and fluid covered scene. He'd given her what she'd begged for in her heart - even though her mouth had thrown threats and expletives at him in the beginning. It hadn't been long until she had changed her mind and began to demand more of everything. As he walked off, leaving her where she lay he heard her ask to meet again, in secret so none would know and so she could have that pleasure again. He just smiled and kept walking, tossing a name back at her and telling her he'd call her next time he felt like a repeat performance.

He knew he smelled of sex and of his last conquest, so he decided to head home again so as not to draw any more attention to himself than he normally did. Sometimes he really did curse his looks and natural allure that drew looks from those so inclined to be attracted to him. He was just rounding the corner and could see the Towers ahead when he heard a voice behind him. Turning he spotted Reyna, whom he'd spoken to a couple of times before but not recently. Of course he smiled pleasantly and they began to chat about little things. However it wasn't long before the conversation turned.

Looking back he couldn't even remember how it had come up in conversation - but somehow she slipped in that she liked to be dominated. At the time he stood for a minute and just looked at her and smiled, before of course taking advantage of that fact. He was already riled and his feelings heightened from his earlier encounter with Scorpia, so with such a tasty thing basically offering herelf on a plate - how was he to say no.

A quick shove to the wall, a ripping of clothes, some humiliating words tossed in her direction and it was done. He stepped away and straightened his clothes as she tried to make herself look at least a little more presentable. As he looked her over he thought of his childe and an idea came to him. After a quick conversation and some demands from him the deal was struck and she was now a plaything for him and his childe.

He headed off, leaving her where she was, and chuckled. Quickly he texted Micah and passed on the good news, as well as the phone number of his new toy, and made his way inside to shower, change and crash out. It had been a good night and he could only wonder what the next would bring.

Sitting in his penthouse he looked at the napping bundle on the couch beside him and chuckled at the turn of events that had led him here. Who had known that a drink with one he held in great suspicion would turn into the night it had. He let out a soft chuckle as he thought back over the night's events, going over each one in his mind.

Azraeth had come to his door as suggested on CrowNet, and they'd had a couple of drinks. Nick had just been his normal self, which of course involved a lot of flirtations. As usual the conversation had been laced with a number of double entendres, however unusually the other man seemed to be responding to them. In past conversations Chad had mentioned using Azraeth as a spokesperson, almost as a second in command to the blood line and so a plan had begun to form in Nick's mind. When Az had blushed at a comment, showing his innocence and in-experience, the plan had come to the forefront of Nick's mind and demanded to be played out.

Nick would play the same game with Az as he was with Bella. He would manipulate the man - or at least attempt to - into loving him, falling for him hard. Try to make the man depend on him, to be there in his time of need and defend him until he was placed as his confidante and to be able to whisper his wishes into the man's ear and see them come into fruition. Yes, he'd decided it was a good plan and he would put up with the aspects of the relationship to come that weren't necessarily to his taste to gain what he wanted.

And so he'd flirted, seduced, stripped and taken the man's innocence before holding him until he slept. Now he looked down at the man and smirked. Yes, this was a very good plan indeed - however he needed to shower to rid himself as much as possible of what had just occurred. Slipping away from the man's embrace he made his way to the shower and thoroughly scrubbed himself, humming a happy tune under his breath as he did. In his head he imagined the night that would come where he had the ear of a few and would be able to shape things within the line and the city as he felt fit.

However, before then he needed a few more pieces of the plan to come together. So tomorrow they needed to be set into motion - tonight he had a soft little bundle to hold and manipulate.

(( Continued from here ))

Nick headed for the elevator and jammed his finger into the button to make it open. His fists were clenched at his sides and his face was set firm and angry. As the doors slid open he stepped inside and stabbed the button for the 18th floor. He looked back into the corridor, hoping that Leiren would have followed him - but as the doors slid silently shut he saw no sign of her. His foot tapped angrily on the metal floor as he felt himself rising up through the building, and as the doors opened again he headed out and straight through his door - kicking it shut with a slam he was sure would echo through the building.

He spotted a few family members in the penthouse and just glowered. He was in no mood to talk to any of them and he was sure his face said as much. He headed straight for his room and again slammed the door behind him as he sat himself on the bed, fists pounding his knees. His head was in turmoil, thoughts and emotions flying through his mind - flashes of memory leaking into his eyes of the time spent with her and how he'd felt when with her. He got up and paced as angry tears streamed down his face and it wasn't long before there were two holes in his wall and blood on his knuckles.

He blamed the head injury - both of them - for him being in this mess. She'd come to him when he'd been shot twice and had lost all brain function other than his survival instincts. She'd cared for him, loved him and looked after him - and in his own way he'd loved her too. Then one of them had healed and half of his intelligence had returned - and she had stayed. She knew what he was and who he was and she accepted that and had said she loved him still. Her softness, her kindness, Just her - she'd gotten under his skin and made him care for her too in ways he hadn't allowed himself too for so many years. This wasn't the same possessive obsession he had for Sarah - this was more real as he'd had with Syrena all those years before.

As his mind thought of Syrena, coupled with what had happened tonight he physically crumpled and his resolve broke. Tears of anguish ran down his face silently as he curled on the floor where he'd fallen. He'd killed Syrena after meeting her again after 20 years - and now Leiren had killed what he'd felt for her. She'd made a promise to him and broken it. He'd defended her - spoke out against his friend and her sire and she'd done nothing but stood there like a naughty school girl saying sorry to her teacher. She had chosen her sire and the depravity over what he'd thought they'd had and it killed him.

The number of emotions swelling in his body made him feel nauseous. He'd heard that allurists felt things more intensely than the others - but he'd never felt anything as intense as this he was feeling now. He curled tighter into a ball as his fist slammed against the ground and swore to himself he wouldn't let another in, he wouldn't allow himself to love another - because he couldn't go through this again. He was barely holding onto his sanity and he could feel the darkness within him trying to rise up and overwhelm him - to make him cross that line and spiral into it's depths. He faught against it with all of his might, draining him of his energy until with a whispered phrase, he passed out.

You have broken me Leiren.....
