Something for sure. I'm not much of a fighter but this is just nuts. Never even met a vampire in person (knowingly...yet) and I know this is awful. Don't know what can be done about it, not like we know who they are in person.
Even if we did the government right now wouldn't do a thing about it.
You can’t be racist towards dead things. Walking corpses have no rights. They’re murderers - killing women by getting them pregnant and having monsters rip out of their bodies. They drain us of blood, and you want them to actually be considered human? With no heart beat? The government has given us full permission to do anything we need to bring bloodsuckers down. I have, yes. I have sent several into the realm of shadows, H. Grigori. I have also been hospitalized by these fanged monsters even without an aggressive intention. I have lost family to their assaults, during their terrorist attack on Longslade. I was there.

Also, the government also gave people full permission to do all sorts of terrible things in the past. So that's a really sucky justification.
ANNND as for the heartbeat, humans can go into cardiac arrest. Do they no longer have any rights? Even in those moments in which they can think, feel, and move, but have no heartbeat?
I'm sorry for your family lost. But people have also lost family to other humans. In fact, that's exactly the type of comment used about Muslims due to the 9/11 attacks in the USA. Loads of people died. Didn't mean it was right to just kill anyone who looked like a Muslim.
Annnnd for the pregnant thing I would like to remind you that sexually transmitted diseases are indeed a thing and can be fatal just like that. (Though that is something I have never heard of happening.)
