Sharing Battle Tactics

Okay, so I think that one of the harder parts of Path to really get into is the battle tactics. Some people set theirs once and never touch them. Other people (LIKE ME) try out different tactics against different opponents to see what the results will be, and also because trying out new strategies is a lot of fun. I mean. If you're a bit of a nerd, and let's be honest. I'm WAY more than a bit of a nerd.
So this thread is for posting about tactics, NPCs, battle reports. Sharing experiences, talking about what works best in certain situations, etc. I figured an open dialogue might work out really well for spreading information.
For example, I have never really used the Throw power in NPC battles, and I decided to try it out and found out it causes damage (broken bone). Which was pretty nifty. LOL I thought it just put distance between attackers.
FOR EXAMPLE. A really good classic combination is to get a High Warlock's glove, invest in a battle power at low anima cost (user choice, though I generally prefer Tier 2 Shadowstrike because it comes with nice blood loss when it hits), increase arcane enough to get the power off a sufficient number of times, and invest in willpower enough to make sure the attacks land.
You can do some CRAZY good damage using that method, and it works against tons of NPC types.
I also have some ideas for shifter and illusionist powers, but I'll have to test them at some point.
What about other people?
