Kira sat on top of the bar, going through inventory papers. "God this is mind-numbing." she said, making sure everything was in order for what she needed for the lounge. Why didn't she make someone else do this? No, Cody would **** it up. Plus she also had inventory at her other shop to do. Though she could hire someone else to do this.

She reached into her pocket, taking out her bluetooth earbuds, putting just one in her left ear so she could listen to some music while she worked. She bobbed her head, her torso started to move. "Damnit. Focus." she muttered to herself. She could have fun after the work was done. Finally, she got to the last page and put what needed to be ordered to go out tomorrow.

She headed over to the door and locked up, the inventory for her other shop didn't take as long but placing the orders people wanted took the most time. She sighed softly once she was finally done. She locked up her shop and quickly left the mall. Now, what did she want to do, that was the question. Maybe she should go to her studio and work on some music. At least that was fun plus getting work done.

She got distracted for a moment, her green eyes following a human on the street. She needed to feed. She didn't feed on random people though, not with people knowing about vampires. The vampire image still needed to be polished a bit. She moved away from the area. Maybe she should see where Dave was at or there might be a shop with some bloodbags nearby.

Kira wasn't focused on what was going on around her, plus one of her ears had music playing in it. She felt the feeling that someone was behind her too late. She turned around to find a human who was packing a gun that fired it right in her chest. She staggered backward before crumbling to the ground.

She gasped, clutching at her chest, her eyes wide. Not her heart. Why the heart. She couldn't even look up to see who did this to hear. Most likely a human who knew she was a vampire. She didn't hide it at her shows if it was brought up. The wave of pure emotion came flooding to the surface, everything she should have felt from the last time she had healed was there. She started screaming, rocking herself back and forth. Why couldn't they have shot her in the head?

Aden was blowing off some steam as he was fighting the Valkyries and had just beaten one while taking a momentary break.

Then something hit him like he was hit by a meteor. All of a sudden every emotion on the planet, rage, love, pain, upset to the point that you wanted to cry, and so forth. Every motion you could've conceived at the most intense level ever felt it. Hit him at one time his eyes instantly went black as he concentrated on the emotion that. He understood the most the rage and anger but that didn't seem to work to well. He was being overflooded like some were pouring in their feelings to him trying to in an ocean of them.

It was so confusing he did know if you wanted to rip his own head off, wanted to kill someone or if he wanted to say he was sorry an crying his eyes out. It was the most confusing thing he had ever felt. but somewhere amongst all that chaos a particular thought slowly begin to push its way through the feeling that this slowly became the strongest. He Love for Valkyrie. Which this entire time he was still trying to understand why cared so much about her. The more time they spent together the deeper the connection seemed to go.

It hurt so bad he came all way down to his knees. It was insane his brain was flooded with these emotions as if he was feeling each one all the exact same time going through the motions. Then suddenly in the forefront of his brain, the only word he could think of was Valkyrie. That's when he began to realize she said something about once or twice if she ever got shot in the heart something about her and emotions. That woman was not kidding. somehow they had a weird link whatever she felt he felt double. If she was angry at someone he was really pissed at them. It was funny when she was angry at him and then he was just more pissed an drove his rage even higher. He had gotten better at understanding how this worked had been able to spend more time with her over the last year or so than when he first become a vampire. It was weird whatever caused this particular link seem to link them together had a few other weird things that went with it as well.

He was down there on his knees trying to figure out what to do how he could gain composure for at least 5 to 10 minutes before he was able to finally rise to his feet. He knew there was no way with his tracking skill he could know where she was from here. But something was driving him to know exactly where she was as if he could almost quite feel her there. Soon as he was able to grab his composure he got to his feet. Left where the monsters were at and headed to his bike. Drove like a bat out of hell heading to where he felt that she was. He was just following his instincts.

Kira could barely register that the man who shot her had moved closer. Even though she didn't need to breath, she was panicking, gasping like she was drowning. She wiped at her face, her face wet from tears. The strange liquid she never see any other time.

"How many shots does it take for you to turn to dust. You filthy vampire." the man said, his voice was near her ear.

She reached her hand up, touching his face and burned him. "Feel my pain you asshole!" she yelled as he stumbled back, screaming and holding his face. The nearby building shook and the glass cracked and the street lights flickered. That burn was not nearly as bad as what she felt right now. She tried to summon a sidhe to attack the man while she tried to compose herself enough to fight back, that's if it listen to her. Damn thing was a 50/50 chance.

It was going to take it in a little while to get there even though he was pushing a fight at top speed and heading straight for her at least the closest a bike could make a straight line anyway for the traffic of the streets. He was listening to his instincts that will let drawl towards his sire. He didn't know what it was about her what it was about their connection. When he truly needed her somehow she knew. The same with her at least that's how he felt about it. Hopefully, this goes better than last time he felt obliged to show up. She wasn't as happy with him about that. But something about this felt different as if she needed help he was going to be there.

It should have been like a 20-minute drive or more since he was a town over he had made it into in flat. He could feel himself getting closer to her now he wasn't exactly sure where he was going but, he knew his cold dead heart he was much closer should be there soon.

As he drove he was scanning the streets keeping his eyes peeled living them back and forth as he swept the area with his eyes as he drove his bike. He was close really close but couldn't quite pinpoint where she was.

His eyes his eyes had become solid black at a shark completely lifeless soulless. He was ready to kill whoever it was that harmed her was going to be in a world of reckoning when he showed up. He wanted to rip them to shreds and paint the street with their body. Make a bloodied mural to remind anyone you don't mess with his Valkyrie.

Kira was surprised that the sidhe actually listened to her and attacked the man. The man was down, not moving. Her mind and body was still in a state of panic as she fought with the emotions. Most of her family being gone, Reggie never being around. Everything that had piled up within her that was never released.

She really tried to focus, relax and calm down but her mind just kept whirling. She couldn't focus enough to get a telepath message out to Dave to find her. She didn't want to summon him, she needed the van. She feared if she tried to teleport or speed away she might end up in a wall or something. She wiped her bloody hands on her pants before taking out her phone. Her hands wouldn't stop shaking and the message she ended up sending made no sense. Maybe voice to text would work better. Before she could hit the button for that another wave of strong emotions washed over her. She fell over onto her side, curling up into a ball. At that same time, a gunshot went passed above her where she had been sitting at.

"You damn mother ******. If I wasn't emotionally crippled right now, I'd rip you to pieces you piece of ****." Kira hissed, there was no way she would be able to return fire and hit him. He was going to send her to the shadow realm.

He moved closer, aiming his gun again at her head this time. "You sang your last song siren."

Kira started to laugh like she was insane. "You do realize I'll just come back right!" she said. "Obviously you have been to my place of work. What's the matter? Fell in love then realized I was a vampire?" she grinned while she stared him down, seeing a ring on his finger. "Married huh? Got the lustful thoughts for another. What a sin...just know you going to make your wife a widow...you will die for this." she would just track him down when she got back.

"Shutup!" the man said, he was getting pissed which meant not thinking. He kicked her hard before pointing the gun back at her head.

Aden body told him exactly where to go he pulled up seeing the scene before him with a man dumb enough to be having a gun pointed at Valkyrie with him being anywhere in the vicinity. with one hand on the handlebars' other hand reached into his jacket pulling his 9 mm and bring it to bear on the man.

Time slows down for a moment as if he was getting extra seconds other people would not have so that he could concentrate on his shot. knowing he had gotten control over this power over time.(Deadeye) He could feel it the power, surging through his body knowing he was going to make his shot he wouldn't miss. He aimed directly for the right lung moving it over just enough so the bullet would miss the man's heart this guy was going to suffer. He had no idea what was in store for him. "Bang" he pulled the trigger. As the bullet left the barrel hitting the man directly in the lung missing his heart.

Sliding his bike to the side hitting the kicks and stopping it almost as if he had done this many times before. He didn't remove his helmet as he leaned forward putting his hand behind his jacket pulling out his ax in one fluid motion. He was off the bike and clearing the distance between them. There were barely a few seconds from the time the bullet hit him and Aden was off his bike speeding after him. He was straining his muscles giving every step with the maximum effort of strength speed and power he could muster, pushing his body to its full limit. He was going to hit that man that ax. If he could help it was going to split that man in two when he got to him.

Kira braced herself for what would be another shot, she would have to ask Dave to come get her stuff. But the shot she heard was not from his gun but another, on a motorcycle. The man fell sideways onto the ground, gasping for air. She wiped her eyes trying to see who it was. "Oh, well you fucked." she said simply seeing the axe. She started to laugh again like she had lost her mind. "No trip to the shadow realm today ******. You going to die. I told you that you would."

The man turned his gun towards Aden, shooting wildly at him in panic.

"Dude, just stop. Ya gonna piss him off more." Kira said while still curled up on the ground. Her small shadow moved and lashed out at the man's ankle. She blinked, she was sure Warrior was able to control her shadow. Must have been her way of saying **** you to the man, he sure wasn't going anywhere.

Aden could have been shot probably as many times as the man had bullets in that gun and at that moment wouldn't felt any of them. They all would've had to be heart and headshots to stop him. He had gone completely he had completely gone into a berserker rage and anyone who got near or close to him and Valkyrie were going to die.

The man fired several shots almost at point-blank range and still managed to miss him because he was shaking so hard. But one of them hit Aden it in the left shoulder. Which was just like Valkyrie said it only pissed him off more. With his wounded arm, he still reaches down grabbing the man by the throat. Naturally, without thinking about it his body shrugged off the effects of the wound (Zombie Constitution).

Picking the men off the ground yet not crushing his throat but squeezing them his neck to the point he was barely able to breathe. " GRRRR!" as he screamed out a feral sounding growl. Then he let go of the man is his other hand came up with every bit of strength that he could muster and as fast as his body could pull his arm through the air hitting the man dead in the crotch ripping the ax all the way through the man's body splitting the man dead in half.

Then taking the two dead parts of the man's body beating them against the wall everywhere around her but not hitting her at all. He kept doing until he had nothing but ankles in his hands before he finally threw them up in the air. Then he beat his chest looked up at the sky and let out another fearsome growl.

Aden then reached down and picked up his ax and began to look around to see if there were any more enemies. He was going Kill it whatever it was going to die even if it didn't really need to die.

Kira watched in some amusement of what happened to her attacker. Of course now she had her own blood and his all over her. She needed a long bath...and Aden seemed to have lost his damn mind. Well maybe because she wasn't quite sane at the moment, she wasn't sure how that worked.

Dave had gotten the odd message from Kira. He didn't bother to text her back or call her, he opened the tracker app and found her location and quickly got in the van to go to her. What he pulled up to looked like some scene from a horror movie. Aden looked like something from a slasher movie and Kira was just curled up on the floor. He put the window down. "Kira! Are you okay?" he called out. He wasn't about to go anywhere near that man.

Kira looked up towards the van. "Oh peachy. Just peachy.." she said sarcastically.
