Unlocking my Secrets

Post by Ripper »

Phantom thoughts skitter furtively through his mind, squirming uneasily against their banishment to subconscious confinement. Everything around him held a restlessness lately; so he took a ramble as he sought through all the dark and wild places where many others feared to go --yet each newly gleamed wonder had no luster and he barely paused to mark in a rough location before leaving unsatiated in search of the next discovery.

Finally, when night grows weary, it was time to pass through the old graveyard which snaked by a moon-light lake on the way to his lair. Pausing in step, he remains motionless for what seems the first time in a long while as he stares transfixed upon the gaze from the mournful marble angel.

He has an epiphany while standing there reflecting there upon the transient nature of mortality.

At first, drawn-back in fright, tension at the shoulders unaware her gaze chase to fall on the earth around linage glistening stone base. Watched as a phantom figure lengthen into the scene. It harvest approaching sound of a person. Right-minded and impetuous gilded herself crouch down until the crane of head parallel to joined sentiments knees. Raven feather black hair wildly uncared for drapes over neck and eyes. Traditional shaggy 70's clothing red blazer jacket line silver buttons and chains at pocket, black shirt and tight faded denim jeans. Prick of moonlight rested near his foot an object reddish brown metallic almost hidden by patch of gravel. (Almost photographic)

A tiny flash of movement amidst the gloom scatters his silent reverie into pieces. The faint, slight sound scrape of metal being drawn against stone. A faint scrape of metal against stone scatters

amongst the gloom a tiny movement catches his eye and the faint scrape of metal against stone lets him know that he is not alone!

Through wreaths of shadow he spots a lone figure bent over in concealment behind the nearest grave marker. An ambush? Although in profile, there is something amiss about this person as though they tugged on some buried memory. Perhaps he unknowingly willed the darkness into an illusion more appealing to his fractured psyche, but the appearance of this woman seemed to have struck a chord that for a first time left him feeling uncertain about his surroundings.

She was dead. His childer gone and buried, no passage or gravestone to mark that where her spirit had ever been here...he knew this, and yet...how could his senses deceive him (even against what visual evidence of his own eyes)?

He calls out, speaking through the distance between them:

“...is that you, Valeriana?”

Unpropitious growling came form Val very own insecurity rather it actually be her Sire. Even those Val ears were ringing with a mental alarm that it was. Fangs quickly with-drawled, retinas glisten more a darker ring around the circles followed by one glow of white suddenly, exhales.

Her words were soft riddles "Yes, It is I" stepping out into the open unprepared for his reaction. Continued to emerge from behind the statue until the frame of her figure touched by light, its warmth spreading over entirely an open flame. Old leathery torn rusty brown jacket, black shirt and tight denim jeans that is ribbed with blood stains and holes. frizzy wavy black hair length to hips, faded and pink lipstick smeared off lips unto check. Silent eyes grows wider in innocence. Movement felt impaired. I Have, had not and couldn't possible be standing in front Ripper ...again.
Mortified of own her existence after attempting death on enormous and mercilessness level the other body was distorted.

There were other small changes Ripper could notice as he approached further, closing only inches away from the metallic object which lay still concealed in the tall grass.

Her height had been different and from close by he could hear a heartbeat, through it's pulses.

These discrepancies had him convinced ... (of only dreaming).

*he says as much in so many words*

"This must be my chance to say goodbye..."

She was no longer that young brown enticing African/Indiana skin woman with curves, face of a child with a wide nose and spectrum, hair medium length dyed blonde/teal and a birthmark on her chest that of an arrowhead. Who's brown eyes are delicate innocents that pour out in eons of sadness and pain from betrayal of blood. Tilt between beauty and ugly, greater part of her shame lies within the tumor that grows on her chest constantly hiding through day and night. Her spirit had moved to this new slender body, left eye light blue and right eye of frost bite grey, long black silky hair, compelling white skin. whose figure could fill a Victorian.

"Again, i'm not a ghost."
brush pass the thought and intensity of actually being dead. Approached him in good favor then motion behind him. Squatted directly over the object that consistently drew her attention. Removing bits of dirt and faded grass revealed that it was an old relic that have been cast away on it's side. Sliver arches that are woven into each other, A case in the middle with a glass door and inside red velvet cloth at the bottom to hold whatever precious item. After discovering such a treat decided best to keep it to herself and swiftly puts it in a black hideous duffel bag. Turns and looks at him. Assured by nature that he is staring at her in confusing, answered quickly.
"I totally aced it, like wow look at my knockers" Triumphed to her feet.

Key wrote:"I should hit you....." she doted, afterwards raised an eyebrow. Then immediately crosses arms and urge him to continue. Ripper, my beloved Sire had thought I was gone. Intensity actually being dead to the only person wanted me here. Aimlessly vision of herself standing in that remote disembody kitchen. Everyday falling apart, it was more then of age.The walls layers of white became scabs trying to peel. Wooden flooring someone painted over in black. Intention to hide blood pigments from previous renters. Remarkable still distinguish it all. The remainder of the time grabbing objects and throwing them around, the smell crock-screw table with a unknown family portrait and vase; knocking over miniature dresser and.... Which is really poetic.. Those tears that conjure themselves. Drench the light blue cotton sweater I'd used to wipe at the blood... crying... his name, shunning everyone even the bastards.
... Silence gave assurance she no longer there unconsciously had drifted off and hugged herself tighter.
Her enigmatic and mercurial behavior had always held in itself an intrigue for him; there were often times when he found himself needing to rely on intuition and guesswork in order to decipher the meaning behind her cryptic phrases.

(Not that he had ever suspected her of purposeful obfuscation; it gave him a twinge of empathy towards those many occasions with others in the past who had their own problems in understanding him.)

There was not something about her that he would ever seek to change, yet the difference hung in the air still unspoken between them.

*He draws closer in this scene, seems to blink away into the darkness until suddenly standing face to face in front of her. The fingers on his hand lengthen and curl upwards as they lengthen out to form into spade-sized razor claws. He runs the back of his curved hand across the length of her cheek almost tenderly while tearing away a strip of flesh.*

“Tell me everything it's possible to remember about the night you were attacked.”

She paused for a moment just to re-consolidate everything.
"I'd came across a master less vampire in one of the sewer's granted in search for food, only wanted a bite. But this vampire was informally different it was someone I had known in my previous life as a human. They were pretty angry and progress to say that I was the cause for them becoming a real vampire. One's blood is the Key you can't hide anything with that not even your hatred, nest for greed, power, lies, secrets, defects, and etc. This vampire had a skill for manipulation that anger their sire beyond control as a result they were cast out. Automatic one sight of me cause it to hurl into a frenzy, it attacked and just purely cursing at me. Severely Injured lost a lot of blood... I'd plan a serious counter strike with all my strength and my hands rip at it's throat pull a large ****. Watch as it gasp and weep it knew... I could feel the bone breaking inside ...finger curls around it's fragile windpipe..... tore it out, didn't stop either ..kept going without a neck it's head rolled freely into the shadows. Afterward manage to call out and cry.....maybe collapsed."
leaned against his shoulder lifted to toes gently began to tassel with his hair brushing soil away.
"Should take care of your self better."
Gear tight to the vampire side an intimidating pulse felt behind it.

“Taking better care of myself? :O
This from the one that I can never seen eat anything! :))

Sparrows and rabbits won’t sustain you; remember that I can not always be there to siphon in fresh blood.”

*He regards her kindly. His eyes sparkle whether in mirth or by mischief but the tiny smile that is hidden belie his joy again at seeing her.*

“While I had considered you gone there were so many things that I wished had not gone unsaid. Now that you are back I feel as though if it would not be right to delay in this any further of all what I have to teach you. “
