All Expense Paid Trip to Tahiti, What Could Go Wrong?

Post by Doc »

Doc: Doc finished stowing the carry on luggage in the overhead compartment. He waited for Cytherea to get seated properly. They had taken the private plane to the Ontario International Airport where they were now on a commercial flight that would fly them to Temae airport on Moorea Island, where they would catch a commuter plane to Tahiti. If all goes well, they will be safely in their 'rental house' by 5 am. Doc took the seat beside the The Chain, and sighed. So far.. so good.

Cytherea: Cytherea sat still, silent. She wasn't used to flights, and to be honest, they terrified her. All she had done before the flight was to research how often planes crashed, fell out of the sky, etc, and now her mind was riddled with the statistics. So there she sat, her fingers fidgeting with her seat beat, her teeth gnawing at her bottom lip as she stared out of the window. What if they died out here...?

Doc: Doc slid a look at the Chain, She was a wreck. Yes she tried to portray calm assurance that she was was fine, but he could tell she wasn’t. He lowered his voice and leaned toward her, “Look I thought you wanted to go on this vacation..” Even though they were in first class, there were still prying eyes and ears all around them. “You look like I am forcing you to go to your death..”

Cytherea: The sound of his voice made her jump, her golden irises travelling to his face instead. He seemed to be accusing her for being scared? Was he even serious right now? Her fear turned to rage almost instantly as she hissed back at him. ''Well I am so sorry for being frightened, I didn't realize it was such a stain on your day.'' Now she had forgotten all about the plane crashing, and instead focused on trying not to murder Doc right now.

Doc: Doc raked a hand through his hair, he could not ******* win. Everything was his fault. "Just what is wrong? Tell me.. Did I not go shopping enough with you? Did I complain? No. I don't remember complaining.. I actually thought I was ******* helpful.. You have been a basket of crazy cats since we boarded in Harper Rock.. what the **** did I do? HuH? Tell me.. because I am at a ******* Loss!"

Cytherea: Cytherea felt her jaw twitch as her rate of irritation grew. Drawing in a breath, attempting to quell the urge to throttle Doc into the next aisle, she replied, calmly. ''You're so oblivious... aren't you? No, you were a delight, truly.'' the urge to roll her eyes into the back of her head was overwhelming, but she resisted. ''I'm... well.. scared of flying. And I checked all the statistics of people dying on plane crashes in the past few years, and well.. we're probably gonna be dead soon anyways, what's the point in even fighting.''

Doc: “What?” He said in disbelief. “We flew to Paris.. You weren’t all tense then.. In fact you were so ******* drunk..” He stopped. “Oh.” He missed that. Yes. Yes he did. He pressed his lips together in irritation. Not at her, but at himself. He should have realized that it was flying she was worried about. But Paris, he thought she had gotten drunk because it was the only way she could stand to be near him. He reached over and took her hand in his. He gave it a squeeze, “Baby.. we’re going to be fine.. It’s a simple flight.. They do this day in and day out…”

Cytherea: Why had he thought she'd chugged a bottle of tequila in 10 minutes flat? Had he thought something else? Was that why he had been so distant during that trip? How did this man even think? Would she ever know? Releasing a sigh, Cyth tried to ease herself into the seat, offering a weak smile, ''You're right.. what're the odds... right?'' at that moment the plane jolted slightly, and she practically threw herself into his lap. ''No, we're gonna die. And if I die out here, you'll never see me again!'' 'and probably hook up with everyone within days,' she thought to herself. Now she was practically sobbing on him.

Doc: “Baby.. “ He patted her back, as he helped her back in her seat, “We are fine.. Do you think I would do this if I thought I had a chance of dying? I am too ******* selfish.. I would send you first.. Alone..” He hooked her seat belt about her. Then he saw the abject horror on her face at his joke.. “My god woman.. It was a joke!” He kissed her forehead. ‘Relax..” He then called for a Stewardess, “Could we have some bourbon.. My lovely wife here, is nervous.. Maybe several.. To relax her.” Just as the Stewardess was about to chide him, maybe because she didn’t trust him, “She’s a happy drunk..I promise. Please?”

Cytherea: Allowing him to usher her back to her seat, the female could feel her face twist into a horrified state. Hardly the thing to say at this precise moment, was it? But then again, it was Doc wasn't it. A sharp comeback lingered on her lips, but it shortly died when he explained and ordered her a drink. Of course the stewardess appeared reluctant, but one look at Cytherea and she vanished to retrieve the bottle. During the short period of time, a pen, napkin, and book perished beneath her fidgeting hands. After a little wait though, a glass was settled in her hand, a thankful smile offered to the other female, who left the bottle behind, a good idea. In a few minutes Cytherea had managed to drink half the bottle, and she was already starting to feel better, fuzzy. It was then she turned to Doc, slurring her words. ''You're so prettyyyyyy.'' she said in a rather chipper voice.

Doc: Belatedly Doc remembered how amorous the Wife got when she was drunk. Yes, she was a happy drunk, but she was also very clingy and loving. On the trip to Paris, is was all he could do to keep her in her clothes, why didn’t he remember that before? Maybe it was because it had been a chartered flight and there was no steward staff on board. He cupped her face with his hand, “So are you, Baby..” He attempted to get her to lay her hand on his shoulder. “Why don’t we take a nap. When we wake up.. We will almost be there.. “

Cytherea: A distraught look flooded her face, dark lips twisting into what was meant to be a pout, but at this point she looked deranged. ''But... we could make out... '' she tried to protest, ignoring the fact that she actually did feel slightly tired, the alcohol having dulled almost all of her senses. A yawn managed to break loose, and under the pressure of his hand, she found her head pressed into his shoulder. ''But...'' she tried to say, not wanting to give in, but her lashes shut, and she was out cold.

Doc: Doc heaved a sigh of relief, as he too closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep. It was hours later, when the plane touched down in Temae, that he woke. It was the jolt of the tires hitting the pavement, that woke him. Thankfully Cytherea was still sleeping peacefully. He craned his head to the side to look at her. She really was a pretty woman; and just as that thought went through his mind, her eyelids fluttered. He glanced at his watch, they had made good time. “Cyth.. We’ve landed.. “ He nudged her, “Cyth.. wake up.. We have one 7 minute flight .. then we are on vacation..”

Cytherea: Being married for over three years now, Doc would know how this would play out; he'd wake her, she'd be grumpy for a while, he'd get grumpy at her being grumpy, then they'd fight, and she'd win. After a few more nudges, Cyth finally opened her eyes, feeling much worse than she had when she boarded the plane, her 'brow's drawing together. ''Couldn't you just have carried me off?'' she mumbled, her lips twisting into a pout as she tried to rid the pounding in her head. ''Ugh, I feel like a truck landed on my head.... where are we... this isn't my bed...'' she said groggily, having completely forgotten where they were.

Doc: “If I didn’t have to carry the carry on.. I would have carried you of.. But as it is.. I have to carry the carry on luggage.. Off the plane.” He knew she was probably nursing a headache or some such, but she would have to power through it. “We are at Temae Airport.. One more flight.. And we’re officially on vacation. The beauty of it.. It’s only a seven minute flight.. “ As they disembarked the plane, Doc told himself, not to take anything she said seriously. Soon enough they would be at the houseboat.. Or whatever the hell it was. He only needed to make it another sixty minutes.

Cytherea: It took her a good few minutes before she could even function properly, a coffee was what she needed, but that would have to wait until they had arrived at their final destination. Sluggishly, Cytherea followed Doc off the plane, feeling much like a zombie at this point. Seven minute flight, that would be a breeze. It would be fine. They'd just survived that one, plus Doc had basically promised her that it would all be okay. After much annoyance, and the willpower of a god not to throttle every single person who she came into contact with, Cytherea was finally seated in the next plane, a cup of coffee in her hands. Allurist powers sure did come in handy, she only hoped Doc hadn't noticed whilst he was busy looking for their final gate.

Doc: Yes. Yes he had noticed. Did he care? No. She was happy and quiet. Finally having stowed the luggage for the last time, before their destination, he collapsed into the seat next to Cytherea. It was a small plane. He glanced around at the other passengers. They were mainly locals. They looked bored. Apparently this was their idea of a taxi. He closed his eyes, only to have the jerk open again, as the twin props came to life. ******* hell they were loud. He didn’t dare look at Cytherea. If he did, he was sure she would have a meltdown.

Cytherea: This was no big deal, she'd faced death in the face before. Heck, she had died before, this was nothing. But the more she listened, the more her nerves shot through the roof. Seven minutes. Seven minutes of pure hell. Why hadn't she kept that damn bottle of liquor. At this point, her eyes were screwed tightly shut, fingers clenching the arm rests, which almost cracked beneath her strength. Two minutes down and twenty five seconds down. It'll be fine. Doc said it would.

Doc: The take off seemed sluggish. Perhaps it was because he was used to a jet versus a prop engine,.. but the fact that engines sounded strained and the plane wasn't gaining enough altitude fast enough, made him look at the other passengers. Their bored looked were replaced with frowns of confusion. “Cyth.. “ His voice was very calm. “Take my hand.” The engines’ sound was a high pitch, and then the plane went into a nose down attitude. They were going to crash. “****.. “ He said under his breath, “You wont drown. You wont..” He said to Cytherea. “But we are going down.”

Cytherea: If Cytherea was able to have a heart attack, she was certain at that exact moment, it would have happened. Instead a panic attack gripped her, making it almost impossible for her to do or say anything. Hadn't she told Doc this would happen?! This was it, they were dead. And to make it worse? She couldn't swim, she didn't know if Doc had been aware of that fact. Sure she could handle a pool, move around a bit. But to actually swim? No, she was so screwed. With a face full of tears, she looked at him. ''I ... can't.. swim..'' she stammered out, her fingers grasping onto his as she waited for the impact that would either knock them for seven, or knock them out cold. Everyone else would probably be as dead as a door nail after this.

Doc: ‘****.’ He had known she couldn’t swim. But he had forgotten. “Baby.. it’s going to be alright.. Don’t tense up. Just try to stay relaxed.. If you’re relaxed the impact won’t be as bad.” ****! Why did he have to say the word impact? The look on her face when he said that word, “I will be with you.. I wont let you go.” He knew he would not be able to keep that promise, but he had to let her know he would be with her, she needed to know… And that was when everything went black.

“Good Morning, Genesis Travel, where can we send you today?”

“Yes, may I speak to Dr. Nilson?”

“Oh I am sorry, Dr. Nilson is out of the country and now due back for a week. Can I be of service?” Kristen asked in her most professional voice.

The voice on the other had a distinct French accent. “I see. He was headed to Tahiti with his wife, yes?”

Kristen beamed, “Yes. So romantic.. His daughter got the vacation package for them.”

“Ah yes yes.. I forgot, I am actually calling about a family matter, perhaps you have his daughter’s number?”

“Oh.. my goodness yes. Which one?”

“I beg your pardon?”

“Which daughter?”

Agente Grenouille looked at his paperwork in consternation, he wasn’t showing multiple daughters, just the one, Phoenix. Who would name their daughter thus? It was unseemly. “Phe..?” His voice hesitant.

“Oh.. Her…” Kristen sniffed in a disapproving manner. “She’s rude. You would have more luck with Dominique. Do you have a pen handy?” Waiting a minute or so, Kristen gave the man Dr. Nilson’s Daughter’s number. She smiled as she hung up the phone. She was pleased with how helpful she had been. Yes, she was a great employee.

Agente Grenouille of the the French Bureau d'Enquêtes et d'Analyses dialed the number the receptionist at Genesis Travel gave him. However, he didn’t get a live person, he got a voicemail. He debated leaving a message versus only his call back number. Bad news was never something one wanted to do over the phone, but leaving a message of bad news? That was far worse. He decided to leave a generic message.

“Ms. Nilson. This is Agente Grenouille of the French Bureau d'Enquêtes et d'Analyses, it is imperative for you to return my call. Thank you.”

As Agent Grenouille disconnected the call, he looked at the debris spread out over the floor of an airplane hanger. Much of the fuselage and cockpit had already been salvaged. What remained were the smaller pieces that would require divers to bring up to the surface. It was a grim task, knowing that there were still two bodies left to be located.

There had been nineteen passengers and the captain. Eighteen of the bodies had been accounted for, all except Dr. and Mrs. Nilson. Grenouille was pretty sure that the couple was deceased. Two rescue workers had claimed they had seen a male body still strapped into a seat, submerged upside down in the water. By the time the workers made their way to that location, the seat and body had sunk. The workers noted the GPS location and carried on. They were only 24 hours into the search and recovery process, there was still the hope that the bodies could still be recovered.

Doc was relaxing in the overwater bungalow, the moon’s reflection on the water was clear and bright. His peaceful reverie was rudely interrupted by Cyth, who was is in the ocean, screaming "Something touched my leg!" Doc sighed, "It’s a fish.. you're in the ocean.." As he closed his eyes trying to find that peaceful place again, only to have Cyth scream again, Doc stood and moved to look out at the water, it was hard to see, but that might be a huge fin. He debated 'Do I tell her?' Aloud he said, ever so casually.. "It’s probably a dolphin.. They are all over the place here.. I read a brochure..." He lied evenly.

Cyth continued screaming and flailing about, "It’s not a dolphin! It’s not a dolphin!"

“Sure it is.. Let me go find the brochure.. “

Doc wandered back into the bedroom and to lay down. As he hears the creaking of the boards,.. He quickly jumps up and acts like he’s looking for a brochure, before finally noticing a bedraggled Cyth who screamed "It was a SHARK!"

---

With a start Doc came to, the dream vanishing. He was upside down, and in water. Salty water. For a moment confusion reigned. Instinctively he sucked in a breath, that resulted in him filling his lungs with water. He thrashed about in confusion, before the memories returned. Crash. The plane had crashed. He forced himself to calm down. He didn’t need to breathe, but he had the urge to breathe. Maybe it was because he was in the water, maybe because he was upside down. He was still buckled in the airplane seat. What might seem like an easy task, unbuckle the seat belt and get free, was harder than expected. Hanging upside down, all his weight resting against the buckle, making it hard to actually wrench open. Had he been human he would have died.

Once Doc was free from the seat belt, he still had to kick himself free from a mass of tangled wires that seemed intent on keeping him below the surface. It was as he was untangling his leg that he saw her. Cytherea was also caught in the debris. It seemed like forever before he was free, and able to reach her. Once he had wrenched her clear of the wreckage, Doc covered them in shadows and began the slow swim toward the beach. He realized that if the humans found them, they would insist on taking them to the hospital to be checked out. And once there, the Doctors would not find a heartbeat. No, Doc could not let them be found. And to make matters worse… it was almost sun up.

The first few rays of the sun slid across the water, as Doc half dragged and half carried Cytherea into an overwater bungalow. He shut the blinds and collapsed.

HOPE reached to the bedside table. The rays of the sun were still strong enough that she was groggy from the effects. The inked hand disappeared back under the cloud of down comforter. Black strands of hair soon slithered beneath as well. As the material danced with her movements she tapped the screen and soon the light blue glow revealed a voicemail. A press of her thumb had the speaker on and the voicemail prompted. The accent was enough to have the comforter rise as did her head beneath it. The body next to her was given a sudden shove to wake up.

“Holy ****! Ric!” HOPE shook him at the shoulder. "Doc and Cyth!"

Not that she knew something was specifically wrong without talking to someone but then again it was agent whatchumacallit from...where was it again? She tapped the screen and the message replayed again. Her body lifted up as her legs dangled over the side of the bed. She couldn’t fully wake up and she needed to. HOPE wrote down the number given and made the call.

Two hours later the story was clear, her sire’s current location was not known nor his wife’s. She was assuming that it was maybe something of their own doing. It had to be. The other possibility was not acceptable. That whole need to know that he was alright curse was kicking in. What would happen if they weren't okay? No, that was not going to do. She needed answers. That was the thought and motivator in her head as she waited for those she called to arrive to Vita Bella. It was time to form her own search party.

Work hard, rest hard. That was sort of my motto, or maybe the vampire motto in general. And I had certainly been working hard. Or playing hard. A little bit of both, so as usual, trying to not only get me awake, but keep me awake was a chore. Especially as of late. The second shove had an eye creaking open as I heard something about Doc and Cyth. I wasn't as excited as she was, because all I did was groan after nodding, indicating I heard that they had called and allowed my eyes to close once again. The sound of a voice, one that was groggy to me was heard, or maybe it was just different because I was still tired. I needed the time to heal...I didn't care if they were calling to tell us they landed safe, or were having a blast in some foreign place. I could hear about it later when they got back.

I knew something was up when I came to a few hours later. Dominique's disposition was notably different as she sat on the side of the bed. I sit up without any problems, fully healed from the night before and put a hand on her shoulder. "What's up?" I ask her, not liking the stiffness in her frame or the back in my line of vision. "Tell me." I continue, because I know something is up. If only I had been able to connect the differences in the voice on the phone hours ago. Time was wasting and of the essence. Did I think they were dead? No. Might they be in trouble? Only one way to find out. Tonight's get together was going to be a lot different than I intended it to be.

The impact had been fierce, terrifying, it made the allurist feel as if she were a mere child before a storm that would not yield. The force, unlike anything she had felt before, stole the breath from her lungs, and caused her forehead to collide straight into the chair before her. Disoriented, she tried to gather her surroundings, and then wishing she hadn't; everyone else was dead or unconscious, and to make matters worse, the windows had caved beneath the force of the collision. Water swarmed into the small area, stealing her vision for a few seconds, but that wasn't what frightened her, no, it was the liquid in her mouth, in her lungs. Whilst the logically side of her brain tried to reason that she didn't need to breathe, her Allurist path allowed the fear to take root and foster. So she struggled, trying to scream for Doc through the water, but it only caused more to flood her lungs, to suffocate her. Darkness crept into the corners of her vision, and she tried to blink it away, to reach for her husband, to rouse him again, but it was futile, in seconds she was unconscious also. From the fear, or the cut to her head, it wasn't clear.

Eventually Cytherea awoke, her hand clutching her stomach as the contents within, which was solely water and liquor, came spirally out of her mouth and onto the floor. Her body hadn't ceased her heaving until it was certain all the water had been expelled, and then she collapsed against the floor, wondering how long had lapsed. It only dawned her on after a few minutes that she was no longer in the crash, and instead in a room, and Doc was close by.

Doc. That ********. That lying ********, 'don't be such a baby' 'it's only a plane, it won't crash,' yeah, look who's laughing now? A steely gaze was shot in his direction, her lips quivering as she was torn between bursting into tears, and ripping his face off with a lashing of her tongue. She settled for both, breaking down into inconsolable sobs, her words not even coherent at this point. ''Yousaiditwasgoingtobefineyoulied,'' if he had heard that, he deserved an award. Nothing was close by for her to throw at him, so she reached for her sopping shoe and threw it straight at his face.

Roderic Hey Kae. Nods at when seeing her
Kaelyn waved and smiled "Hi!! Mind if I summon the mister?"
Dominique waves to all and hugs those who are huggable.
Dominique Yes he should be here
Kaelyn pounces on the Dom and hugs uber tight
Roderic "I don't mind." * Shrugged * "That's...stetson. No...ste, what's his name again?" Stares at Kae, cause he's probably only heard it twice, Maybe.
Dominique squishes hard
Kenlie Stagger. Kenlie interrupted as she walked up onto the balcony.
Roderic "Oh. Right. Yeah bring him by."
Kaelyn stared at Kenlie. "What she said"
Roderic looks at Kenlie. "Hey." Nods at.
Dominique makes her way to Kenlie and kisses her cheek and smiles.
Kaelyn stared longer at Kenlie "You still owe me three days."
Roderic "Doc and Cyth won't be here. Couldn't get hold of Jules. Or Ethan. This might be it."
Dominique rubs the back of her head and figures it should be the time to let them know.
Roderic moves to the dock, sits on the edge of it and pulls out a pack of cigarettes, a lighter and pops one between the lips. It's lit not long after. "Anyone?" Offers the pack out in the air.
Dominique holds up her own version of something to smoke. "I am good."
Kenlie I am aware.
Kaelyn shook her curls "Nuh. Thank you, though'
Kenlie slings an arm around her sister's waist and bumps her temple to hers. “I got my own, but thank you.”
Roderic looks at Dom.
Dominique settles in next to Kenlie."I got a call. Agente Grenouille of the French Bureau d'Enquêtes et d'Analyses. Seems there is a problem."
Dominique deadpans. Because this was just not what she expected to do tonight.
Kenlie frowned.
Roderic doesn't speak a drip of french, but perks up when hearing the word problem. Roderic suspects what this conversation is going to be about. Might as well get on with it.
Kenlie What? What sort of problem?
Dominique sighs. "Doc and Cyth left on vacation.”
Kaelyn ....Yes.
Kenlie furrowed her 'brows.
Kaelyn What about it?
Roderic nods. Ric already knew that and was waiting for the ball to drop.
Kaelyn narrowed her eyes and sat up, to stare at Dom
Dominique And it seems their plane has gone down. No one survived that was found and two are missing. Sounds like they are having fun wherever they are."
Kenlie stood back up so she could reach into her back pocket for a cigarette.
Kaelyn WHAT DO YOU MEAN THEIR PLANE WENT DOWN!? Went down where!? [/color]
Dominique raises brow. "Well it isn't in the air anymore? I wasn't on it so I don't know."
Kenlie One guess as to the two passengers that are missing.
Kaelyn ...You spoke to the person. Didn't they tell you?
Dominique raises a hand." Okay settle down."
Roderic looks at Dom, wondering what the problem was as Ric was confident they were fine."Ain't anyone in here a telepath? I'm sure you could peek inside their heads."
Kenlie I'm not. Dom and I are both Shadows.
Kaelyn I can
Dominique "I was tired of their bitching. It is like being around a set of honeybadgers. They needed some time so I sent them for it. for whatever reason the plane went down. They are not accounted for so chances are Cyth is reaming Doc's ***."
Roderic looks at Kenlie and nods. "I'm sure they're fine," look at Kae.
Dominique nods. "Kaelyn can you get on the antennae and send a Jetson message or whatever. ET phone home?
Kenlie Knowing Doc, they were probably behind it. Kenlie laughed.
Dominique laughed with Kenlie. "Was exactly what I was thinking."
Boner bumbled up on his bike, parking it several feet away from the dock. Leg hauled over. Britches readjusted. Hips shaken to make them comfortable again. He cocked an eyebrow at the yelling, but chose not to pay too much mind to it just yet. He pulled out his phone and texted Kenlie. "Turn 'round."

Roderic nods at what Kenlie said. Doc was lucky as hell. It was going to be one hell of a vacation.
Kaelyn clenched her teeth before speaking "From what I can tell...they seem ok. But I tried to talk to Papi and all I got back was a garbled up message...he sounds stupid! Something isn't right. "
Dominique "Could be the connection. a jet stream could be interrupting."
Kaelyn Or he could have a head wound.
Roderic "I got it." Ric stood up with a snap of his fingers. "Check out their flight details. Surely there would be something on the news about this? I could go after them.
Kaelyn He's really far away...how do I know if my appraising actually works!
Roderic was thinking about all the exotic animals he could bring back., but wanted to look like I was being a hero and ****. When really, I just wanted to hunt.
Dominique raises brow. "The have located the wreckage. They are missing Doc and Cyth. It is in a difficult to reach area and probably a good thing."
Kaelyn I want to go there. NOW
Dominique "Want me to book you on the same airline?" Dominique pulls out cellphone.
Roderic finds my face with my palm
Kaelyn I don't care. Just get me there. I have money
Kenlie finally checked on her phone, and took a moment to very, very slowly turn and look over her shoulder. A small smile tugged at her mouth.
Roderic looked at Kae. "I don't think it's a good idea. on the same line. They sort of have a bad rap at the moment."
Dominique catches sight of the mammoth man and looks at Kenlie and grins. "Holy ****!"
Kenlie curled a finger for Boner to join them up on the dock.
Kaelyn What's the likelyhood of two of their planes going down in the same week?
Dominique "Kae, you see that deal not too long ago where the planes were dropping out of the sky like dead flies?"
Kaelyn No... I want my Papi
Roderic thought about it and shrugged. "Depends. No one knows the cause of why it went down, do they? We have to take into account certain elements. Was it weather related? Sleep deprived captain,. which happens a lot..." Roderic looked at some guy approaching and stood firmly on the dock, inhaling my cigarette as I look him over.
Dominique "Besides this is Doc. My guess is a little whatever went on in the plane. Cyth got riled up...she did just drive through a farmhouse not too long ago. Perhaps he was flirting and ...yeah..."
Kenlie Always the flirt.
Boner hiked one side of his jeans up once more and pocketed his phone. His heavy frame swayed as he wandered over to the group. A wicked grin was offered to both familiar women.
Kenlie pressed the Marlboro Red between her lips and sparked up.

Dominique nods and hooks her thumb at Kenlie as if to say 'What she said".
Kaelyn clenched her teeth, nostrils flaring. Papi always said she had to learn to control her emotions...maybe she should work on that now.
Kenlie Okay. So. Say it wasn't caused by either of them and they really are hurt. How do we figure that out, and what do we do about it?
Dominique gets up and hops on Boners back and ignores the fish smell and kisses his cheek.
Kenlie reached over to give Boner's beard a playful tug.
Dominique dropped down and landed on her bare feet.
Kaelyn Can I summon them? Would that work?
Roderic 's posture and stance softens after watching Kenlie and Dom interact with the other guy. "We could send Kae to find out?"
Kenlie Not from that far, Kae.
Dominique nods to Roderic. "Boner this is Ric and Ric...Boner. "
Kenlie The Boner.
Kenlie smiled.
Dominique nods. "The Boner."
Kaelyn Yes! That!! Send me......Boner?
Roderic looks at the guy referred to as Boner. "Hey." I flick the ash off my cigarette, and put it back in my mouth to take another drag.

Re: All Expense Paid Trip to Tahiti, What Could Go Wrong?

Post by Roderic »

Boner briefly wondered if he needed to offer to be put to work again. He certainly wouldn't mind being stuck in a hearse with Dom and Kenlie for a second time. Maybe cause an accident himse- "Pleasure's mine," he responded, snapping back to now. He ruffled Kenlie's hair and beamed again at Dominque.
Roderic glances at Kae. "We could send stagger maybe?"
Dominique imagines Stagger hiking through the jungle. Sighs and looks at Ric.
Kaelyn glances at her boyfriend. "If he goes, I go."
Kenlie Dom and I could give it a go, too. Pretty sure we're his oldest that are around right now.
Roderic "And what will you do when the sun is out?" I look at Kae pointedly. "You're pretty pale.
Dominique figured they could pull it off."Fine will send you guys if you want." She figured Kaelyn could be the one to crash their epic romantic get away. The bloody mess likely was their own doing.
Dominique looks at Kenlie.
Kenlie pressed her lips together.
Kaelyn liked to ruin Doc's fun if this was indeed actual fun. "I will....hide. Stag can do day work. I'll do night work."
Boner put a hand over Kenlie's face.
Dominique "He sends Kaelyn over to spend the day when he is getting laid. I am not so sure he wants me going to Tahiti to crash his chances of getting some."
Kenlie ... eugh.
Dominique "Alright..." Looks at all. "We all go?"
Kenlie thought about licking the man's hand, but then thought again.
Dominique scratches her nose.
Roderic shakes head at Kae's answer. She was going to be one crispy critter.
Kenlie Point, though... Kenlie mumbled through Boner's chubby fingers.
Kenlie If they are out there, we need to move fast before the sun comes up. Or at least before it drains them completely.
Boner moved his hand to her hair so she could speak without interruption.
Roderic looks at Boner. "What's your take on this?"
Dominique looks to the dudes and waits.
Boner I 'ave no idea what's going on, but I'll drive the hearse.
Kenlie snorted.
Dominique bust out laughing.
Roderic "We're all going. Even him." I point to Boner. I liked his spirit. We'll need comic relief when this plan fails, which I suspect it will. It will make the women less angry.
Kenlie So long as no one bites him, I'm cool with that.
Kaelyn was going to kill Doc if this was their doing. She hadn't intended on spending her anniversary with an entourage. Same goes for Stagger. I'll rip fangs out if they touch him.
Kenlie is imagining the lot of them wandering into a jungle hut to find Cytherea and Doc ******* like bunnies.
Dominique nods. "So long as the hearse is playing a little of the good stuff."
Boner I been bit a few times in my life. I think I can 'andle it. Fry over here can DJ again.
Roderic "Stagger and Boner aren't my type. I'm sure they'll be fine." I look at Dom.
Dominique shakes head. "Naw we got it covered. There is a plane full on the way there. We don't eat our own..."
Kenlie ... Bones.
Boner 'Ey now. You sayin' you don't appreciate a shapely figure?
Dominique winks at ric.
Kenlie Any chance you know someone with a plane?
Boner Not anythin' for flying distance. Crop dusters here and there.
Kenlie Damn.
Boner I've got boats and bikes.
Roderic looks at Boner. "Nah, it's Kenlie I'm more worried about. Ever heard the adage, it's always the quiet ones?" Ric looks at Kenlie, knowing that saying all too well growing up.
Boner 'S'it.
Roderic "What kind of boat?" I look back at Boner.
Boner Kerlie? Quiet? Must not be the same girl.
Boner Fishin' rig. Pretty big. Room for a good haul and crew of six.

Roderic looks at Dom. "Where is it at?" I was thinking that sounded pretty good too. Fishing.
Dominique was figuring that would work. "You think she will make it there?"
Boner 'Bout a half hour ride or so, give or take. Hour if the speed limit is more than a suggestion.
