‹Isabeau St Mart› Slowly she made her way through the sewers... Ever since she had been turned she had been prowling through them like a beast, she felt relaxed in the grime, able to kill at her discretion. No one bothered her, and that made her temper far better to deal with. She looked around, looking for another hunter to kill, to take her rage out on. The more she killed the less she wanted to attack everyone - 'sire' included - this whole vampire ******** made her feel nuts at times. She was a ******* vampire.
* Edenor was down in the sewers hunting, a bit bored with the tedium but he couldn't get as much training as he did here. The enemies here were far more alert, sometimes even getting the drop on him even when he meant to get the drop on them. Fortunately tonight had been easy on him, several paladins and soldiers killed by his blade when he snuck up behind them. He had just let one fall when he heard someone else coming. Not even a chance to look the body yet and he channeled his energies, shadows consuming him in but a moment turning him invisible in the gloom surrounding him as he waited to see who was coming. Perhaps it was another person he could use as a target like the one fallen a few feet away.
* Isabeau St Mart walked with steady steps, she glanced around the area and then came across another hunter. A dead one. She let her eyes scan the area... Clearly she wasn't alone down here this evening. The thought brought a slight growl to her throat. She lifted her head to scent the area but she didn't sense anything at all. Slowly she started walking again, gathering some much needed chemical waste.
* Edenor smirked as he watched the woman go by, sniffing for a scent he knew he wouldn't leave consumed by shadows as he was. He decided she must be like him, another vampire, though not a very vigilant one. At least not when there was clearly a very recently dead corpse there, he oculd even still smell the warm blood that had yet to cool, and as she began to collect the waste he let the shadows around him disappear before going to the corpse of the man he had stabbed through the neck and went through his pockets coming up with only cash before saying to the nearby woman, "You know it's not safe to leave your guard so down. Not down here at least."
* Isabeau St Mart snapped around as she heard the voice, her eyes darkening a bit as it rested on the male. A soft growl came from her but she looked down at the body the guy had left... What a waste... "Who said I let my guard down?" She asked in a voice that was cool and ice but still held that sensual purr that she had when she had been human. Her hand gripped her blade and gun a bit tighter as she watched him like a hawk for danger.
* Edenor laughed at her reaction, he could almost feel the tension coming from her as she stood there and grabbed her weapons. His own he hadn't even bothered to go for yet, if he was grabbing them he was using them. There were no idle threats from him when it came to such things. If he pulled out a weapon it was meant to be used and there were no warnings or second chances once that happened. Instead he laughed at her, her reaction in turning around alone enough to show how easily he could have simply gotten close enough and sank a blade into her without her ever knowing he had been there. He shook his head, "If you hadn't let your guard down you would know something hunting these guys," he kicked the body he had just searched rather roughly, "and wouldn't let yourself just gather what you want nearby and not remain alert. I bet you didn't even notice me til I said something." The last was said with a snicker as he watched her face, it would be far more telling than her words were likely to be considering the attitude she was already showing.
* Isabeau St Mart growled low again. She wasn't big on people before she had been turned, and after she seemed ready to just kill them all. "I could care less about the body, I knew something was hunting them, not me. Doesn't mean I wasn't letting my guard down, it meant I didn't give a **** about another thing like me. The only think I care about is you killed him first." She said, standing to her full height instead of being ready to pounce as she had been.
‹Edenor› He could only laugh at her words and almost felt pity for her. To not care simply because she hadn't been the one to kill it? He wouldn't be surprised if she didn't last very long in the city and with a slightly crooked grin as she straightened up said softly, "Not caring, and being a fool are two different things. There are some in this place that would kill you if you stumbled across them as you did me. Fortunately for you if you relax and don't draw your weapons on me I will see no reason to do that." His eyes narrowed as he watched her then, he knew she was still ready to use her weapons even if she were slightly more relaxed now that she had stood, "So please do remember that. If you pull a weapon so am I and I wont be so nice as to let you leave to lick your wounds." Did he have to be an *** then? No of course not. He saw no reason to not make sure she understood though that just because he was not attacking now, that would mean he wouldn't at all. He almost hoped she would pull a weapon though, it would be most fun to get to really play around with another of his kind, humans simply weren't enough of a challenge.
* Isabeau St Mart arched her brow, this guy was really asking for it, but she wasn't stupid. A bit fucked up at the moment, volatile to say the least, but not stupid. He was older than she was. Still, as he said he wouldn't let her lick her wounds, that brought a slight growl to her throat. "I don't give up... Every..." The last battle she had been in nearly killed her but she hadn't given up, her side had killed the guy before she could. She lowered the weapons but she was ready to protect herself at all times. "Let me guess, you enjoy being an asshole."
* Edenor shrugged "Sometimes I suppose I do." As she finally let her weapons no longer be a ready threat on him he turned away from her and called back to her with a smirk on his face, the sound of his voice even seeming to carry that out of his mouth, "Most times though I prefer that I not be threatened by little girls that don't realize how close to death they are." He wasn't woried about her attacking him, if she did he would retaliate with every bit of force he could muster. Provoke her though into giving him more opportunities to poke and prod at her as it seemed to easy to get under her skin? Now that was a good plan and one he intended to follow if she continued to present that opportunity. Especially considering where he did most of his hunting was near dead ends so he only had to watch a few tunnels instead of all of them he knew if she wandered away the direction she had been headed she likely would have to return past him again. Now that would be a lot of fun to torment her then.
* Isabeau St Mart rolled her eyes and shook her head "Nice try... I'm already dead." She said and turned back to continue her hunt, "and I'm a new monster now." She said more to herself but knew the design of the sewers would carry her voice. She moved through the area but then came to a dead end. Instead of turning right around, she pulled out her cellphone and checked on the things she had up for auction.
* Edenor laughed to himself as he heard her words carry through as an echo. Already dead? True enough. To think that she couldn't meet a darker fate though and be killed was foolish. He had heard of the so called 'Shadow Realm' and had no desire to ever have to leave that place because he had died. He moved slowly as she had left though, his ears leading the way more than sight or smell in the hopes of finding another person to kill and take from though he didn't stray too far from the tunnels he knew she would have to return from eventually if she didnt have a Tome to send her somewhere.
* Isabeau St Mart sighed and put her phone away, the ******** hopefully had left and would no long be there to treat her as if she were a moron. Her public information may say she was just a street rat with no real education, but her private one... She had been smart, cunning... She had just been in the wrong place at the wrong time. Slowly, quietly, she tried to make her way back through the sewers, getting a lay of them, listening for any Hunter or paladin she came up on. They almost never heard her coming. Still she listened for movement, just in case one did get a lucky shot in.
