Long time... ((Kamikaze))

Post by CharlotteC »

{ Yo! Charlie! I need a ride! Or Fuel! Your choice, chicklet! }
{ Kiss my what? }
{ I love you. Come get me, *****! }
{ Say the magic words... and I'm not the *****... you are! }
{ Please Mistress, come and save my sorry ***. I'm without fuel in the slums. }
{ Good Boy, Be there soon! }
Charlie slid her phone back into her back pocket and then continued to slide both hands into them so that she could both protect her phone from all the thieves that she had been seeing around the market as of late. If it wasn't so busy she might just help the mall out with their little thief problem. As it stood though, it was just a bit to busy to be running a blade through someone's spine tonight.

She shook herself of the lethal thoughts. Charlie wasn't normally a very violet girl unless pushed to the point of being that way, but as of late, she had been feeling more and more like she wanted to take out some aggression on something. One could say it was probably just the fact that she hadn't been with someone in a very long time, and the only people she had in her life to love were Tempy and Morpheus. Well and Elliot, she did love the sire man. Even if there was no true blood connection between them. To her, he was her sire.

Sighing, she stopped for a moment and glanced up at where she had stilled. It was actually a bit amusing. A dojo that she hadn't been in in a really long time, but if there was ever a place to take up beating the **** out of someone, that would be the place. She was tempted to go in, see if the woman she had met there once was still there, but then she remembered Tempy and cursed softly to herself as she hurried through the mall to run across the street and get her car.

It had taken her a few minutes more than it normally had, there had been some fall out because of the battles going on in the streets. It made her wonder if she should even take her car into the slums. She sighed and did it anyways, pulling her car into the area and then glancing around the streets for Tempy. After a couple blocks, she spotted her thrall and smirked, turning off the car before getting out and looking at him from the other side of the car.

"I brought you gas, but you owe me... what have you gathered for me today, jackass?" She asked with a teasing tone and a smile that was damn near wicked. Even without the fangs, when she smiled like that she could see her friend, thrall, and practical brother shiver. Though she never could tell if it was from fear or because he enjoyed when she used him like a Carpi-sun.

He glared at her for a moment but then busted into laughter and looked at her. "Thanks, *****... and actually, I found some really good **** today. I think you will be proud." He said as he waved her over and she walked over to him, handing him the gas and then smirking as she looked through the bag that he handed her in return. This was really good stuff. One thing she loved about Tempy, he always knew the good **** and he got a LOT of it today. Lots of really high end stuff that would break down into high end parts that she could then upgrade and made an even higher end gun.

"I could kiss you, Tempy..."
She said and then smiled wickedly when his eyes went wide. She grabbed his head and lay one on him. "Told ya! This stuff is really great, I'll be locked away in the den for days with this stuff." She said with a laugh then closed up the bag again and flung it over her shoulder. "You been ok here though? Do you need this?" She asked as she pulled out a pendent she had recently found, she had tested it on Rhett so she knew it would protect him from other vampires around here.

"Nah, I'm good, keep that on you, you may need it more. I've been seeing a log of those blood freaks around here." She nodded and smiled.

"Take..." She stopped as she glanced over and thought she saw someone that she had run into once before. The irony was she was just thinking of the woman... so of course she could have just been imagining it. She would have to find out. Perhaps a little walk would do her good. "I'll be back... watch my car." She said before heading in the direction, wondering if it really had been the girl.

The slums gave Kamikaze a bit of sport, especially honing her swordsmanship, as well as the accuracy with a firearm. It didn't hurt, either, that she would find a gun part here and there, to take back home and frankenstein into something she could sell to one of the local proprietors. This evening was just for sport, and she was having quite a bit of fun. Sitting against an abandoned car, she checked her phone, to see if any of the better quality items were selling in the auctions, which a few had, though most weren't. People were mostly inflating prices for weapons and parts, though she figured if people were desperate enough or had the cash to blow, why not? The sounds of a vehicle alerted her, though she did not pay too much mind, as she'd usually hear gunshots or some sort of swearing if the locals were the ones who arrived.

Slipping her phone back into a jacket pocket, she dusted her skirt off, then pushed away from the car, before turning to find a few gentlemen making a deal beside what looked to be an old storefront. Not one to partake herself, she knew that the trade must have been good, since the few tormented souls she had reaped a few days ago were carrying what looked to be methamphetamines. These shady characters would do. Out of the corner of her eye, though, she thought she saw a character of past. A girl from the dojo. Perhaps an old student of Shizuka's? Or maybe she had been the one to teach? Within the mind, the three personalities conferred with one another, to make sure. Kamikaze was skeptical, as it might just be another phantom of the mind. Shizuka thought it looked like Charlie. Three wasn't sure, as she had not been around to witness, though she reminded the two other personalities that the two men had noticed them.

The drawback to Kamikaze in the ganglands, was that she stood out. She stood out everywhere really, even among the Triads. A Yakuza-bred woman whose mind had more twists than a Shamalayan movie. Three reminded the two personalities that they may need to assume a defensive position. Shizuka thought a blade would do. Kamikaze just shrugged, pulled her custom handgun out of her schoolgirl jacket and emptied a clip in the vicinity of the men. The .44 rounds struck flesh, bone, concrete, lamp post, store front, and what appeared to be a homeless gentleman that had wandered in on the wrong time. A casualty of war. One of the thugs had been struck in the leg, the other had ducked in behind a garbage can, after pulling his business partner to safety. The bum just laid there, bleeding.

The look in Kamikaze's eyes appeared somewhat lackluster, as she wasn't fully into it, though when the thugs returned fire and struck her in the chest, the ignition was flipped. They had ruined a perfectly good jacket, and she hadn't the time to buy another. It took far too long, and far too much money.

Standing her ground, Kamikaze fired a few more rounds toward the gentlemen, before looking over, just to make sure if the shadowy figure had dispersed or not. She had not, and she was walking more into view. Ah, it was Charlie. A wide smile on her face, Kamikaze waved wildly with her free hand, the other squeezing the trigger, unleashing hot lead toward the garbage can and the men.

Woman of blade past... Dojo, yes? Work blade? Better? Have not seen.. ages... Been well?

Her leg buckling as a stray round from the uninjured thug's glock, Kamikaze deadpanned, then tried to focus now, concentrating with the talents she had learned from the Mystics. Flesh began to heal, pushing the bullets from the body, until they dropped, causing the two men to stop, stare, then both made cross motions with their hands. Standing up fully, after recovering from the shots, Kamikaze sighed. It was rude to be so violent in the presence of a guest!

Excuse!

Bowing to Charlie, Kamikaze turned to face the two thugs, casually walking over, being met with more gunfire that hit and grazed, before they'd need to reload. With the reload came time for her to act, and Kamikaze was tired of this. Within enough space, she grinned, her fangs slipping over her lower lips a bit.

Naughty naughty~!.

A wag of a finger, and then she focused once more. The shadows around the thugs loomed, eerily quiet, until something bellowed. The shadows stirred, the shambling of a figure echoing in the alleyway, before the figure would fully reveal itself. The monstrosity of a fadebeast was now fully upon the humans, and it snarled. The men screamed, scrambled, tried to get away, as the beast again made its presence known, until it lunged.

This gave Kamikaze time to relax, recover, and properly meet with Charlie once more, as the summoned fadebeast did its duty.

As Charlie grew closer, she could tell that it was indeed the girl that she had once met, someone of the family, or at least that had called the Worthington's family way back when. However, as she was getting closer, the girl pulled her gun and it caused Charlie to slow and then stop and watch her. Kami wasn't aiming at her, that was something that she was thankful for, but as she followed the girl's line of sight, she saw who she was aiming at. Two fairly 'innocent' gangsters just doing what they do best, sell drugs and other contraband to each other. And when she fired, Charlie stilled again and her eyes went wide behind fake glasses. A glance back told her that Rhett had thankfully taken cover behind her car and was safe - for the most part - from any stray bullets.

Despite the gun battle, Charlie moved a bit closer, especially once Kami had actually acknowledged her presence there and was speaking happily in her broken English as if they were just chilling and she didn't have bullets whizzing past her head. The gangsters were returning fire and Kami was still shooting at them. Shops were being hit, anything and everything. It seemed while she was lethal with a blade, she needed a little bit of help with a gun. Something that Charlie was becoming quite proficient at herself. Still, as she watched this, her own face went blank as she began to shut down any camera that could be within the area. Checking to make sure that the woman would not be seen. However, even as she checked to make sure that Kami wasn't calling down the big bad vampire bullies, she watched with mild amusement as the girl and the gangsters fired at each other.

Charlie gave a nod to Kami as she excused herself and watched as the girl closed in on the gangsters and then there was one of those ******* beast things standing before them. Her eyes widened in shock again and she began to worry about Kami going way past what was normal of the vampire world. Though, she had to admit, it was amusing to see someone that was so clearly breaking all the rules when it came to secrecy... there was not a single thing in this whole scenario that screamed secret of the vampire world.

No, Kami may as well have sky wrote that Vampires were real. It was amusing, but scary all the same because a part of her wanted to make sure that Kami would be alright, especially if the bullies decided to do their normal Gangbang and leave tactics like the gorillas they were. It was then that Kami turned her full attention on her, even as the fadebeast tore at the gangsters, ripping them to tiny shreds that would likely never be seen again in a moment. Charlie shook her head but was smirking. "Aren't you worried about revealing our big secret to the world?" She asked with that amusement still coloring her tone as she once again turned her eyes to the fadebeast and then quickly averted her eyes because that was one image she didn't want forever in her eidetic memory.

"Oh and to answer your other questions from before, yes it's me, and I am a fair bit better with a blade now." She smirked as she pulled out a small dagger she carried when she wasn't in full hunting mode and showed a bit of her blade work with it before slipping it back into its hiding place. "And yes, I'm doing very well. Normally doing the naughty from the shadows, not going full bore in the light, but I like your style." She said with a soft laugh as she pushed some of her hair away from her shoulder. It put on display a fair bit of her scars but she was at the point that she didn't care about it as much.

"How have you been?"

The chaos that the Shadow had wrought was indeed something that would undoubtedly bring the wrath of Tytonidae upon Kamikaze, though she was not unfamiliar, having been within the ranks of the faction on two separate occasions. They had even sent her to the Shadows a few times. With this in mind, she had made sure to take precautions, Tao passing idly through the area, as to check for possible witnesses. The fadebeast still feasting upon its grizzly meal, Kamikaze was left in full focus of the other, who she had conferred with in the past, though this was not the dojo and they were not sparring, at least not hopefully. Head tilting to the side, the shadows darted back and forth within the woman's vision, though she attempted to focus on the other solely. It was a bit distracting, to hear crunching and slurping in the background, though the Shadow was not unfamiliar with fadebeasts, having summoned a handful in the past.

Secret secret. No surprise. Eyes count. Watching. Searching.

Now hearing that Charlie had improved with a blade since their first encounter, the woman gave a wide smile, bouncing on the tips of her toes, hands clapping, though this caused her to accidentally discharge a few rounds from her gun into the air, startling her for a moment. Deciding to holster the weapon, she returned to clapping and bouncing, before settling a bit.

Naughty naughty?

Deadpanning at this, she made a circle with her left hand's index finger and thumb, then inserted the index finger of her right, with a questioning look. With the rest of the words that passed the other's lips, she laughed, shaking her head.

Kamikaze no style. Ways. Life.

Jokingly, the Shadow beat her fist against her chest, then flashed a peace sign. ... Very thug, Kamikaze, you little ****. This is why we can't have nice things. Now that the fadebeast was done with its feast, it passed through the shadows, to explore the ganglands more, possibly have a lovely stroll in the country? It wasn't like it really cared where it wandered, and neither did the woman who summoned it. Within moments, though, Tao passed through, the little wraith, standing beside the Shadow, staring at her. It muttered into the white noise of her mind that the thugs who were indeed nearby were too busy shooting up or shooting one another, that it really didn't seem they noticed the small shootout. It advised the psycho that she should cool her ****, though, just incase they caught the attention of any police officers in the vicinity. It advised her that she knew better than to catch their attention. She'd done it before, having paid the price with wounds, as she didn't want to return fire. Her description was already in their records for a possible character of interest in multiple murders of questionable characters, mostly gangbangers in Harper Rock, as well as a firefight in the Broussard compound.

Kamikaze smiled to Charlie, then sat to the ground, folding hands to her lap.

Not bokken... Much improve.

An amused look passed Kamikaze's face. She should have grabbed her training sword instead of her firearm, to play with the local population. That'd have given the others an advantage, with their guns, and a bit more lethality, though she had the skill to take out even mooncalfs with what was supposed to be a non-lethal weapon. Frenzied eyes stared into the distance, in Charlie's direction, as she smiled, the white noise roaring within her mind, the spirits about screaming into her head. Poor woman.

Charlie was one of those seriously open-minded people, but even she had to admit that there was something about Kami that was a card or two shy of a full deck. Of course, many would say the same about her if she came out and told them that she was a vampire. She had thought the very same thing when she had been told about them. Kami though wasn't telling her of vampires or such like that, she was just crazy. Of course, crazy though the girl was, it was hard not to smile at her enthusiasm with things, the way that she bounced and clapped like the small child she almost appeared to be. Charlie had to wonder what that had to say about her that she found such antics amusing. Still, Kami was just too happy not to let that influence her a little bit.

She seemed to have things planned for what was going on, and the speaking of eyes and such had her wondering if she had one of those wraith things that she had heard of before. It made her glance around before returning her eyes to Kami and nodding to her. If Kami was at peace than she was sure there wasn't much to worry about. Movement caught her eye and she noticed that Rhett had come out of his place and was slowly coming closer. She shook her head and then glanced back as Kami spoke once more. The lewd gesture made Charlie laugh out loud and she shook her head in answer to the girl. "Oh no... I wish it was that sort of Naughty Naughty." She said with another soft laugh. "I meant more along the lines of that..." She said, tilting her head in the direction of the carnage without actually looking at it. "Just because I appear on the outside to be abiding the laws, doesn't mean I always am." Charlie said with a playful wink before she glanced over her shoulder.

She was glad to see that Rhett had climbed into her car and seemed ready to leave. It wasn't often that her little hood rat came out of the slums, but in this case he seemed ready to get his *** out of there. She reached out with her mind - something she knew that Rhett disliked but doubted he would ***** about right now - and silently told him to take her car and to get out, that she would meet up with him later. Once her car started she turned to look back to Kami and smiled to the girl, then giving a laugh at the 'Thug Life' impression. Seeing it from one that looks so young, so innocent, so tiny yet knowing the girl wasn't just nuts but deadly and nuts, made the look all that much more amusing to Charlie.

"I normally use a sword that one of my siblings made made, but today was a relaxed day, spending most of it indoors building guns, so I just kept something small on me." She reached behind her and pulled out a pair of good looking and she knew pretty powerful hand guns and held them in such a way as to show them off without making it look like she was going to attack. Attacking would have been stupid on a lot of levels, but that wasn't Charlie's way anyways. The guns protected her from things like she just saw go down between Kami and the gangsters. Though, as of late, when Charlie was killing something, it was the creatures that lurked withing the caverns.

"That was an interesting gun you were using earlier... is it custom or something picked up here?" Charlie asked, she was willing to bank that it was a custom job. After making so many, she could pretty much spot a custom gun from a mile away.

Laws. Kamikaze abided by them, as much as she could, or at least followed as best she could, though episodes did happen, that sometimes led to events that conflicted with those laws she abided to. Laws had kept her safe within Harper Rock, after of course she learned of them, having paid the price a few too many times. Since she had been with Tytonidae, she had learned of methods to keep within the structure that was encouraged to follow, yet allow herself the freedom to do as she needed (or pleased, as shown by the summoning of the fadebeast). Planning things out was a strange thing, for such a spontaneous and sporadic woman, though this was mostly due to the rather level headed personality that laid dormant, Shizuka. Shizuka, of which was the easiest to talk to, and one of the two sane personalities, enjoyed order. She was the one who, when left with the control of the host, had joined Tytonidae both times, as the faction seemed to thrive on order. Shizuka was the yin to the yang of Kamikaze, although Kamikaze was slowly starting to accept that order was needed from time to time.

When Charlie's thrall made himself known, Kamikaze stared at him the whole while. Until he departed, the Shadow grew silent, until she was distracted by the woman's words, as well as the handguns that Charlie had brandished. Making a whistle at them, she nodded in approval, then pulled out the custom handgun that Luffy had crafted, and entrusted to her.

Sword common yes... We dance blade. Gun.. Gun practice.. Play. Gun.. craft.. Bearded Demon.. Otter King... Luf..Luffy. Gift.

Slipping the firearm back to its holster, the Shadow looked over, to see that the Fadebeast had disappeared entirely, leading to what could be an amusing chain of events if others discovered it roaming the ganglands, possibly after a few more gangsters may discover it. Looking to Charlie again, she grinned. The woman crafted weapons, as well, though Kamikaze only crafted for the fun of it, it seemed, especially with small parts that were rather useless or of low quality. She'd collect the parts from sources who did not need the scrap pieces, and make weapons that amused her with their oddball appearance. Slapping random pieces and making them, she'd usually end up selling them in bulk, for a decent amount, and then return to it, every once in a while creating a gem of sorts, though she did not have the skills to make the high quality weapons that seemed to be inflating prices within the Auctions.

When the coast was clear, Kamikaze's wraith, Tao, appeared beside the Shadow, whispering within the white noise of her mind, the woman leaning in to listen to it better. Nodding, the woman then whispered in response to Tao, her words of broken Japanese and gibberish, though the wraith seemed to understand, nodding. It trailed off, in a direction toward the Quarentine Zone, leaving the Shadow truly alone with the other, though Kamikaze was never truly alone, having her mind bombarded with the voices and the cries. Shadows darted about within the corners of her vision, causing Kamikaze to shift a bit, to see what had moved, though nothing was there. Eyes narrowing, she went silent, as if attempting to hear what was around, though the cries within her mind were truly making this hard. These things were a constant annoyance, and a reason she was never truly gifted with tracking expertise, as her senses were never to be trusted one hundred percent.

Guns... Own? Yes? Shadows whisper... Custom.. Craft... Skilled. Fortunate. Shadows sing of gifts of destruction.

A fidget, and Kamikaze could feel herself growing a bit anxious, the voices coming on strong now. Mostly this evening, it was the cries of the damned souls from the Shadow Realm or those that wandered the land of the living, pleading for peace. The white noise within her mind was thickening with screams, howls, obscenities. At times, Shizuka had written down what these spirits had wanted, what they said, having filled countless composition notebooks of their screams, but Kamikaze did not have the patience to do so, which ended up causing this to happen, as Shizuka was normally the one to attempt order with the damned souls. It was not like Kamikaze did not respect those that were deceased, but she did not have the tolerance to their rudeness, since they would not give her peace, no matter how many times she asked. Of course, when hallucinations were paired with the actual voices of the damned, it was hard to separate the truth and the false.

Charlie smiled softly at the whistle, it was always good to know that her work was appreciated - even if it was appreciated by someone who was pretty much living her life on the Crazy Train. She put her own guns back almost as soon as the whistle had come from Kami and then smiled a bit more at seeing Kami's guns again. "Luffy hmm? It seems a lot of people in this city are quite good at crafting guns." She said with a light laugh, though it was a bit of an understatement. She knew there were tons of people who were crafter guns far superior to her own. Even Pi was known for far better guns and that was a bit of a disheartening thought. She had offered her own weapons to the family, but Pi was able to better arm the family than she was. Talk about a failure in every sense of the word.

Then Kami was talking again, her broken English that made Charlie have to actually concentrate. That was a good thing. Because if she was concentrating on what Kami had to say, she wasn't thinking about her own failures for her family. The girl was truly dizzying sometimes, but at the same time, it was amusing to be around her and wondered what it would be like to take her into a crowd of people. Watching their reactions alone would be worth the fact that they might be figured out. Shaking herself out of her thoughts, she glanced back to Kami and nodded to her. "I practically live with my crafting kit." She said as she patted her bag that was now filled to the max with high end gun parts that she planned to put together as soon as she got home.

"I should make money for the things I make." She said with a laugh and then noticed the way that Kami was fidgeting around. "So do you often come here and have some gun practice?" She teased the woman, a playful smile on her face, though she did also glance around, mostly keeping an eye on Kami's six, while she knew that anything happening behind her Kami would see. Of course, if Kami would warn her of trouble was a different matter, but for now Kami seemed to like her so she was sure she could trust the woman. No matter how crazy the girl was.

"You know, I think there should be a gun range... a good place that we can go for target practice. After all you have your Dojo and I know of a couple other Dojos that make training in Martial Arts and Sword play easy enough." Now she felt like she was rambling, perhaps because she was. So she fell silent and thought she would get the thoughts - scrambled as they may be - from Kami, perhaps she would tell her why she seemed on edge suddenly.

Tilting her head, the Shadow took a few moments to gather her thoughts, a bit tricky when battling the white noise within her mind, it coming now in pulses, near deafening. If any other mind were to fall victim to this, perhaps they had a chance to fall into madness as well. She watched Charlie, eyes focused on the other, as her lips curved into a cheshire smile, her hands folding together, hands resting against the small of her back. It did seem indeed that quite a few others were crafting weapons, she supposed. It would explain why it was tricky to find parts for weapons that she lacked, when she wished to create her own blades or firearms.

Monetary yes... Crafty. Shops. .. Gun yes. Angels cleansed. Culled. Time and time blade. Firearm yes.

With the thought of a firing range, Kamikaze had not remembered seeing one lately, though she knew and could hear when others used either the Quarantine Zone, Catacombs, or even the Ganglands to test their weapons, perhaps even the Caverns and when others sought to gun down a few Lionelli. No dedicated building came to mind, though. Perhaps one could be constructed, and help others train with firearms and firearm safety. Many of the people she knew that were quite gifted with firearms were either too busy with their factions, though, or had become dormant and slumbered, some even hermiting away.

Range.. yes. Idea. Perhaps craft. None mind.

Rocking on her feet lightly, Kamikaze looked around, as if waiting for more gangsters to ambush the two, though her wraith had checked fully, and none were aware. Just to make sure, Kamikaze started to move, motioning for Charlie to follow her. The woman seemed calm, or at least looked it on the outside. Within, Kamikaze was a bundle of nerves, feeling as if the silence was a calm before the storm. Her firearm was within quick reach, giving her a slight comfort, and she knew that Charlie was armed as well, although this was a double edged blade in her mind. She knew that Charlie could have attacked her if she wished, though she hadn't, but the Shadow could never be too careful.

Walk, yes. Spot mind. Open. View. Angels and demons walk alike.

Pausing her walk, Kamikaze stared straight ahead of her. Within her own mind, it appeared to be either a spectre or a person jus standing there, with a sad look on their face, their features not very clear. The hallucination flickered, then grinned, before rushing at the Shadow, disappearing altogether, after the woman flinched, closing her eyes tight. Opening her eyes back up, she checked herself, spinning around to see where the figure must have gone to. A troubled look on her face, it quickly disappeared, replaced with a flat look, and her stride returned, as she would lead Charlie onward toward the university. It was going to be a long walk.

Charlie smiled as Kami agreed with her - or at least, she believed that was what she had been saying, with Kami that was a bit of a crap shot. Shaking herself out of her thoughts though, she was tempted to give her sire a call and see what he would think about the idea. After all, he had owned a gun shop once before. Before the citizens of the city had started to take making guns into their own hands. Not just guns either, but blades and she may have seen a few things that were more blunt force trauma than sharp like a dagger or sword like the ones that she owned.

"Indeed. I don't think anyone would mind at all..." She said before she moved in a bit closer, "After all, they seem to use the rest of the city for target practice. You know, it's funny, for all the bolstering they do about keeping the masq in place. Not many actually do things that would actually keep us a secret." She said as she thought about the way that groups would fight in streets, where anyone could see them. Or the fact that some of the factions and bloodlines of the city had been fighting in the open with humans. How did that not get seen? How did it not get reported? She knew the answer though. If you had a member of the faction in the bully group, they pretty much left you to do what ever you wanted. No matter how many violations someone had or how much money they had on their head.

Again she was pulled out of her thoughts by Kami and she smiled to the girl as she spoke. This sentence wasn't hard to follow at all and Charlie smiled brightly and nodded to her. She wanted to walk, and she wanted Charlie to join her and that sounded like a good idea. Standing around too much was always bound to draw attention to her, the Allurist curse, but with Kami, the way she was, the path she was, it would be more dangerous for her. "Sounds like a good idea, it's been a while since I have just chilled with someone. How have things..." She stopper her question as she noticed that Kami had stopped walking, that she had been staring at something and then she was jumpy and looking around.

Charlie reached out to touch her arm but stopped just shy of actually doing it "Kam? Is everything alright?" She asked and then glanced around as if she could see what Kami had been seeing, but she doubted that she would be able to. After all, those were powers she didn't have.

Re: Long time... ((Kamikaze))

Post by Kamikaze »

Was she okay? Kamikaze did not have the answer to that question, as much as she thought about it. It wasn't that she was scared, it was the question of if the spectre had been real or if her mind was playing tricks with her once more. It was a paranoia she needed to shrug off, a question for another day. Right now, as she tried to shrug off that uncomfortable feeling, she looked to the woman, once she composed herself. Nodding, Kamikaze gave Charlie a reassuring smile, in an attempt to both reassure the woman as well as herself that all was well. It seemed forced, though hopefully it did its job.

Yes. Fine. Everything yes. Shadows of mind. Kamikaze yes.

Eyes closed once more as she paused, remembering her meditation. It usually helped in these situations. Slowly, Kamikaze counted from five, down to zero, and then took a slow breath in, and exhaled, a thick black smoke rolling from her lips, as if the woman were a dragon in disguise. Shaking herself off, she smiled once more to Charlie, beckoning for her to return to following. Her mind changed on the location, as she wanted to catch up in a bit more private setting. The direction altered from the University, toward the West Tower. The apartment that she did most things in. It was secure, and only one other person had access to it beside her, but she knew that that person usually spent their time in the treehouse.

Shadows see. Shadows whisper in the dark, sing of bitterness. Angels cry, speak of the unholy. Demons seek. Blind with eyes.

Tapping on her temple, as if it made complete sense to Kamikaze, the Shadow moved onward, her eyes now set ahead of her, a look of knowing on her face. Perhaps the apartment would indeed be a lot calmer, as well as less violent. Hopefully less violent. She didn't have much as far as furniture in this apartment, though, except for a few folding chairs and a couch that had been left on the curb. Otherwise, there was a terminal, forge, and crafting bench. Back near the ganglands, though, Kamikaze hummed a bit of a tune as she skipped along the street, toward their destination. She was in a good mood, even for a woman who had freaked out only moments before, almost as if she had completely forgotten about it.

As the walking continued, the shadows within the corners of Kamikaze's eyes began to shift, began to move, the hallucinations starting to pervert the environment around her. Voices whispered lies within her mind, and then there was the deluge of the damned crying out for freedom. Increasing her pace, the woman started to get nervous, this being the longest she had been out in the open, feeling slightly paranoid. How did people do this outdoor thing? Then again, she'd rather be indoors or in the sewers than out in the open.
