This story is a solo writing, it details how Trahir's second thrall, Nicolette LeFleur comes to Harper Rock and is a part of Lessons Learned in Blood, occurring between posts 11 and 12 of that RP.
The letterhead of Twisted Sister Tattoo Parlor in Harper Rock, Ontario Canada drew the woman's attention. She was a tattoo model and this type of gig was her bread and butter. The handwriting was immaculate and she read the flowing script with a small smile growing at the corner of her mouth.
Dear Nicolette LeFleur,
We are a small but growing tattoo parlor in Harper Rock, Ontario, Canada and have been considering various forms of advertisement to draw new clientel from around our area for some time now. Much of the local talent has been featured by our competitors and we are wanting to go with some artwork that has not been seen in our area. After reviewing many of your magazine spreads and covers we have decided to offer you the opportunity to be one of the faces of our business. Enclosed please find a credit card, pre-paid with a retainer for your services. There is also a credit line at Charles De Gaulle Airport set in your name to purchase a ticket to Harper Rock between the 22nd of September and 20th of October. Should you choose to accept, your salary will be $250000/year plus royalties (5% of shop profits) along with expenses paid and chances for independant photo shoots so long as these shoots are not for any local tattoo parlors.
Our board has reviewed your portfolio extensively and we have narrowed our choice down to you and one other model we are sure you are familiar with. She shared a cover of Tatoueurs with you earlier in the year, Miss Monique Delacroix. She has been made a similar offer. There will be a photoshoot planned here in Harper Rock at several local landmarks with the two of you and the shots will be reviewed by our board. If selected, the above contract will be offered. If your competition is chosen, you will be paid a one-time payment in the amount of $50000 USD for the photographs which will be featured in our initial publication. If you have any questions please send them to our corporate office at Honeymead Market Suit 21, Harper Rock, Ontario, Canada, M4C 1B5 or you can reach me at (902) 555-0944. Should you choose to accept, please show this letter to our receptionist. It will act as an invitation to allow you into the office.
We look forward to your response.
Sincerely,
Benjamin Campbell
Vice President
She has checked the balance on the card already, $10000 USD!! After rereading the letter several times the brunette bombshell picks up the phone and dials the number listed in the letter.
In Harper Rock a phone rings. A well-manicured hand reaches into a suit jacket and withdraws the ringing device. The screen casts a cold electric light over the face of the vampire, Trahir Trahison as he scrutinizes the number and allows it to go to voicemail.
Nicolette frowns as the phone rings several times and the voicemail picks up the call. "Thank you for calling Benjamin Campbell with Twisted Sister Tattoo! I'm either in a meeting or unavailable at the moment to take your call but if you leave your name, number and a detailed message I will return your call at my earliest convenience. Thank you for calling!"
Nicolette sighs and speaks clearly in English, not her native tongue but she has learned it from her travels. Her accent is a combination of French and English, a remnant of her teacher left behind. "This is Nicolette LeFleur, I received your letter in the mail concerning the job offer and I am very interested. I will book the ticket to fly out there immediately and look forward to meeting with you. I assume I should come to the address listed? Please call me back at 33 1 55504040 to confirm! Thank you in advance!"
Trahir waits while the woman records her message and the phone beeps, letting him know there is a voicemail waiting. He hands the device over to his thrall Ben with a smile. "Just as we discussed Ben. Impress me."
Ben takes the phone and calls the number, already programmed into the phone. It rings twice before the sensual voice on the other end breaks through the ringing. "Salut, Nicolette LeFleur."
"Ben Campbell, Twisted Sister Tattoo. Hello Miss LeFleur, a pleasure to speak with you."
"Ah! Monsieur Campbell! That was fast! Please, call me Nicolette."
"Yes, I'm sorry I missed your call Nicolette, I take it you are calling to accept the job opportunity?" Ben glances over to the vampire nearby and Trahir nods for him to continue. "We are very much hoping you will accept the offer. I am a huge admirer of your work."
"Oui, it sounds perfect! I can leave Paris the day after tomorrow. Will I be coming to the address listed in the letter?"
"No, actually when you arrive you will be picked up at the airport by a limousine and it will bring you to a farmhouse in Walnut Grove. We will go over some of the shoot locations and then you will be taken to your lodgings.. We look forward to having you Nicolette, I will reserve a room in Veil Tower for your arrival. It is in a trendy area of the city, plenty to do nearby."
"C'est parfait! I will see you then!" She hangs up the phone and smiles. It's not every day an offer like this falls into one's lap. Not in her line of work. It may be too good to be true, but she doesn't consider that because she wants it to be true, needs it to be. This is her big break!z
Ben hands the phone back to Trahir and the Killer takes it. "Good job. Very good job. Now we wait for the other one. Monique Delacroix. Once she is on the hook we will be in business." As he speaks the thrall nods emphatically, pleased to have done his master proud. Deep inside he worries what Trahir's reason is for using Twisted Sister like this to bring these women to Harper Rock but the control Trahir has over his mind quickly snuffs out the concerns. His master wouldn't hurt Dominique. He said so. He is only trying to help his friend. Ben smiles knowing Jane will be so happy with what he's done.

Re: Nicolette (Lessons Learned in Blood spin-off)
Trahir stalks the night, an activity he has taken not just as his birthright as one of the undead, but as a responsibility. In a way he is very much a vigilante. His prey usually consist of the scum of the earth, crack dealers, murderers, wretched beings who would not be missed by any but their rotten ilk. He takes some measure of pride in helping clean up the streets of Harper Rock one lowlife leech at a time. The irony of being a hunter of man hunting men does not elude him. He knows he is more of a monster than those he drains dry. He also knows that not all those who fall under his fangs are beyond redemption. He can not afford to give them a new lease on life however. Blood has a price and Trahir is forever a slave to the blood. His freedom can not be purchased by any means and thus he labors like any other vampire within the city's confines. He is simply less torn about it.
On occasion his prey falls outside the spectrum of the criminal miscreants that haunt the alleyways and clubs pushing their wares out into the herd like a slow moving virus, infecting all that is good and wholesome about the world of man. On occasion even the innocent, if such a thing truly exists, must fall before him. These girls, they have done nothing to warrant his attention other than happening to have enough art emblazoned on the flesh to draw his eye. Enough beauty to attract the attention of lustful men. They happen to have chosen an occupation which Trahir can make use of currently given his self-chosen mission to bring Dominique around to the ways of the creatures that stalk the night slaking their thirst on the talking monkeys. They are innocent, but they too must find themselves pulled into the vortex of the world of the vampire. A vortex which once drawn in will prove inescapable. Some things are inevitable. Death is one of them. Trahir walks hand in hand with the reaper every night of his life.
Monique Delacroix had arrived in Harper Rock earlier than day and Trahir had Ben bring her to a farm in Walnut Grove. Tonight Trahir would not be alone in the hunt. This was not about feeding. This was something entirely different. As he reaches Walnut Grove he is met by a second shadowy figure, a woman who appears as if she is someone else.
Trahir had contacted the vampiress at her strip club, arranged to put on a little show for Jane's benefit. Soon the camera would be rolling and Monique Delacroix, contracted model for Twisted Sister would be the star in a snuff film of sorts....

Re: Nicolette (Lessons Learned in Blood spin-off)
Nicolette hated airports. She had only had two gigs in which the company flying her in had used private jets and she had thoroughly enjoyed travelling that way. Bypassing security, private runway, not having to worry about luggage check-in and pick up. No layovers. That was the best way to fly. This Canadian tattoo company either didn't have access to a private jet or they had decided that a model for their advertisement didn't warrant that much affection. She was wagering on the former. Standing in line at the aiport is Paris, waiting for an old lady ahead of her to finish arguing with the security guard that she wouldn't take off her shoes for whatever reason she had, Nicolette sighed. The details of the contract were rolling through her mind, the only thing making this hellish undertaking among the masses of people worthwhile.
Finally she was up. She had checked the majority of her luggage when she picked up her ticket so her carry-on was light. The checkpoint took only a moment to pass through for her and unlike the elderly woman ahead of her she passed through without a hassle. She was used to airports and knew what to bring, what not to and not to argue with the bored guards who would enjoy nothing better than to liven up their day with some customer stumping drama.
She settled into the waiting area and studiously went about ignoring the men who slavered over her as she sat waiting to board the plane. The cold wind blowing figuratively from her set off the vision of the quintessential ice queen. She wanted this flight to begin and end as soon as possible and had no inclination to speak with some idiot who thought he might get the chance to join the mile-high club with the tattooed woman. Men always thought tattoos signified a sexually promiscuous woman and while Nicolette was no prude by any stretch she liked to be the predator rather than the prey, choosing her potential mates and sending them the signal she was willing to entertain their advances.
It seemed forever before they began boarding. At least Twisted Sister had come off the extra cash for business class for her. She wouldn't have to sit with the worst of the people here. A quick glance-over of the other passengers rising to board told her there was likely no one who would spark her interest this flight. That was fine by her though. She had money on her mind, not sex this evening. Harper Rock. She had heard the name before, something about a UFO conspiracy or something of the like. Should be an interesting place to see. She was looking forward to it.

Re: Nicolette (Lessons Learned in Blood spin-off)
Nicolette stepped of the plane and into the tunnel leading to Harper Rock International Airport. The flight hadn't been all that bad. The flight attendant had been sweet and happily there had been no one in the seat next to her. She was slightly tipsy from a couple drinks she had ordered while still in the air and was a little jet-lagged with the timezone change from Paris to Ontario, Canada but after she makes it to Veil Tower and takes a long hot shower she figures she will be right as rain.
She manages to get her luggage with minimal hassle and makes her way out of the airport, glad to have the proverbial travel dust brushed away and left behind her. As promised there is a man awaiting her arrival. He doesn't look like the typical limousine drivers she is accustomed to, in fact he looks more like a workout instructor or a model. His long hair frames strong features and his suit is tailored over a body she can imagine is solid muscle. He's hot. she thinks to herself as he approaches and reaches for her bags, taking them with an ease unexpected even given his rather impressive physique. "Thank you, I'm Nicolette LeFleur," she says, smiling at the driver.
"Yes, I know you are my dear," says Trahir as he looks into her eyes. "I know you are."
The instant their eyes lock, Nicolette feels a sensation of falling... only it's within her mind. Something is washed away, a dam inside her head breaking and something flowing away from her consciousness. Suddenly she knows she would do anything for him. She wants nothing more than for this stranger to possess her, to take her, claim her and make her his forever.
She has no idea that is just what the man, the vampire, Trahir Trahison has just done.
