Not that it matters

I am just really curious.. on the topsites websites, a lot of them say, "votes in" and "votes out".. what exactly does that mean?

I am presuming that 'votes in' are the different clicks voting for the site; but what are 'votes out'?

IIRC, it's a measure of how many people click through the topsite to the site in question. So if it says out votes: 20, that's 20 people in the given timeframe (topsites usually refresh), that clicked the site link from that topsite.

Could be wrong though.
