‹Jesse Fforde› The shadow realm is where Jesse likes to be. He rolls his shoulders, though they are shadowy and unseen. It's like all the tension in his body dissipates. He wanders, until he finds who he is looking for - as if he can find her just because she is family. Or maybe communication works differently down here, and they drew themselves together somehow. "Stormy," he says, nodding his greeting.
* StormyDream smiled as she saw him and spun around. "I think this realm makes me look ghost like. I rather enjoy not suffering the pain of the hunger." Her hand moving through her hair slowly. "It is nice to see you."
* Jesse Fforde smiles, too. He had not expected this young fledgling to be so welcoming of the Realm. Most people think it's a torture. Jesse himself rather enjoys it, though he won't admit it to many. But.... "I kind of like the satisfaction of hunger," he says. "You'll be able to get out. You know this, yes?"
* StormyDream nodded slightly, she knew she could leave, but she was slightly afraid. "If I return will that stranger come after me? I told them I was sorry. I didn't think I would have done much damage to them by accident."
* Jesse Fforde continues to smile. "It was an accident, then? What happened, exactly?" he asks. "That stranger has been killed," he adds with a scowl. It didn't happen the way he had hoped it would. But the result is still satisfying. "She won't touch you again."
* StormyDream nods and lightly dances around on the spot smoothing her dress. "I went after a gangster and tripped over. I accidently pulled the trigger as I fell and it hit the other. I quickly sad sorry and then went after the gangster."
* Jesse Fforde grunts a little, but nods. "Where were you?" he asks. Watching the young vampire dance around, slightly amused.
* StormyDream pondered as she stood on one foot. "I am not quite to sure really. I am still getting my mind map set up. I think it was near a train stations. Sorry I really don't remember." She blinked a few more times as she spun around more.
* Jesse Fforde nods. It's not all that important. "In about a week you'll be able to come back. Through a door. A window into the world. Have you seen them yet?" he asks.
* StormyDream ponders as she looked at him. "I have seen a few, and a fade window too."
* Jesse Fforde nods again. "Yeah, that's them. You don't want to be riddled with wounds when you come back - wounds that don't go away. In order to make sure that doesn't happen, you have to consume spirits. Have you seen those wandering around, too?"
* StormyDream nods as she smirked and moved towards him slowly. "I found 6 of them the first day I woke, they were fun to play with." She then grabbed his hands and spun around with him. "I also saw a few other people down here too."
* Jesse Fforde rolls his eyes, though she might not be able to see it so much. Not with the way they are down here, all ethereal, unsolid. He sort of just shuffles as he's pulled. "If you let me go I can draw them to us. So you don't have to go looking," he says. And then: "Yeah, this is where all the dead people hang out."
* StormyDream smirked as she moved closer and whispered in his ear. "Others are just dying to get in here, and here I am with my own personal ticket." A large smirk spread over her lips as she moved back and laughed.
* Jesse Fforde shakes his head. This one's a strange one. Far too happy to be dead. But he supposes that's not such a bad thing. Why should anyone be sad, though, if they knew they could come back to life? "Or you get the ability to come and go as you please without the wounds to bother you. Like me," Jesse smirks, before he reaches into the ether to draw the spirits toward them - as much as his energy will allow.
* StormyDream watched him as she danced around in front of him. It wasn't that she was happy or sad, she just never got stressed out and always saw the brighter side of things. "You're bringing more spirits to play with, yay." She had a large smile as she watched.
* Jesse Fforde levels the girl with a steady stare, curious. She's young, though not too young. A lot like Kaelyn, really, though maybe less... timid. Far less timid. Maybe she'll brighten the place up a bit - once she comes back. The spirits soon emerging out of the gloom - shimmering spectres that offer healing and energy if consumed.
* StormyDream clapped as she ran around and grabbed the spirits, each one being pulled around in a large ring. "I love playing with my food, they make for entertainment." She slipped her arms around one as she cuddled it and kissed its forehead, then bit into the spirits neck as she felt it move into her and giggled.
* Jesse Fforde does wonder whether this is cause for worry. "You know you can't go around playing with your food like this topside, right? You'll be seen. You'll get a bounty. You'll break Masquerade and be killed - and I'll help to do it. You drink from blood bags. Or you come with me and I'll show you how to do it discreetly," he says, sternly.
* StormyDream spins as she finished off the last of the spirits and placed a kiss to his cheek. "I normally only play with gangsters and zombies. You shoot them and hide then watch them move around." She laughed as she smiled. "I wont play with humans or others. Mostly been attacking animals, a few rabbits and wolves."
* Jesse Fforde rolls his eyes skyward again. Kisses on cheeks. Kaelyn likes that kind of ****. What's with all these excitable young women, recently? He mildly shakes his head. "Even with gangsters. Be careful - you'll have cops after you. And then hunters," he says, though he nods approvingly at the rest of it.
* StormyDream giggled as she looked at him. "So I can't let gangsters run about and be careful, bit I can cuddle the wolves and the rabbits?" Her hand moved through his hair as she looked at the man. "I will be careful if you visit me more whilst I am down here."
* Jesse Fforde stands absolutely still. He can't really feel her fingers in his hair. Not really, not like one would topside. It's more like a tingling feeling. Like a shifting of the breeze. "Honestly? You can do what the **** you like but if you bring attention to yourself as a vampire, I'll get angry. And you won't like me when I'm angry," he says. "Are you trying to threaten me?" he asks, bemused.
* StormyDream giggled as she nodded. "Yep." She kept a straight face as she danced around then just bursts out laughing. "Why would I threaten family? I just like having company around to brighten the place up." She twirled around and then lifted his hands up and went "Roar" She then giggled as she looked at him. "So there needs to be a slide down here for fun."

Re: Eye of the Storm [StormyDream]
--The following transcript was a live chat roleplay--
* Jesse Fforde arches a brow as he continues to stand still. "I'm not sure it's supposed to be fun down here. I don't think that's the point," he says, idly watching the girl as she seems to have a lot of energy to burn. He doesn't say he's going to come visit. But he will. If not only to help the girl with her wounds, but because... well, he likes the place. Just as it is. With no slides.
* StormyDream smiled as she looked at him. She smiled widely as she nodded. "I guess not many see the beauty in this land. I love seeing the other side of death, but having the option to leave when I wanted, that is what I look forward to."
* Jesse Fforde cants his head a little. This girl might be a little too happy-go-lucky for his tastes, but their opinions seemed to align. "Exactly. Even ugly things can be beautiful. I find it... relaxing, down here," he says. Whether it's actually 'down' he doesn't know, but it's an apt description nonetheless.
* StormyDream nods as she looked at him. "I find beauty everywhere, you just have to look. Did you know the hunting grounds has an underground lair? I found it when a bear chased me one day. It was beautiful, but in a hole in the ground type of way."
* Jesse Fforde shakes his head. "I didn't. But I haven't been back there in a while," Jesse says. He only dabbles at the Hunting Grounds if he needs things for his rituals. "There's a lair you'll have access to when you're out, too. It's like the Fforde family hub. I'll make you a tome. It's a basement, with all the things you'll need," he says.
* StormyDream seemed the brighten as she looked at him. "Does it have a place I can paint? And a white sheet I can throw on and pretend to be a ghost with?" She laughed as she looked around and pounced on another spirit as she laughed.
* Jesse Fforde shrugs. "I'm sure we can designate you a corner. You can't have mine," he says, his interest piques a little more. "You paint? What's your preferred medium?" he asks. He himself is an artist, of a kind. His canvas is usually skin, but sometimes he dabbles on canvas, too.
* StormyDream pondered for a few minutes then smiled. "I paint on canvas mostly and on paper I draw. But I have drawn on walls before too. I drew a lovely graveyard scene on a casino the other day."
* Jesse Fforde laughs. "No, but I mean - acryllic? Oils? Watercolour? What's your poison?"
* StormyDream pondered and then smiled. "I prefer nightshade really. And anything that can capture the beauty. Sometimes water colours and crayons even."
* Jesse Fforde smirks. "I like ink. Watercolours, if I'm feeling frisky. Charcoals, if I'm feeling melancholy," he says. Most of his sketches of Grey are in charcoal. A few other things, too, if he's in the mood. But, mainly ink.
* StormyDream smiled as she nodded and then looked at him. "So you do tattoo work? Using ink it would make sense. Do you make your own ink?"
* Jesse Fforde arches another brow. "Make my own ink? No. I order it from a trusted supplier," he says. He'd never actually thought of making his own ink. Now the idea is in his head, like a seed. "Tattoo artist. Yes."
* StormyDream nodded as she giggled. "I have mixed a few pots of black ink with ashes and a liquid. It is rather easy, but not as good as the professional stuff. That is fun to make too."
* Jesse Fforde nods. "Maybe we'll dabble together," he says. "How old are you?" he asks. A random change of topic, but he's curious.
* StormyDream placed her finger to her chin and giggled. "Asking a lady for her age, that isn't nice. But I am early 20's. Very early." She nodded and looked at the man. "And always will be now."
* Jesse Fforde nods, accepting the age. It seems to be the age of all the new ones being brought into the fray that is Fforde. Fforde. He thinks about them now, above ground - disparate and yet seeming to slowly come back together again. Slowly. "Age means nothing now..." he mumbles, slowly.
* StormyDream nods and then smiled sweetly. "I was wondering, how do I get a better sword in the city?"
* Jesse Fforde cants his head to the side. "You ask Axel," he says. And then clarifies. "Axel is another member of Fforde and he's quite skilled at the forge. There are a few others in Andras who might be abel to help you, too," he says. "You'll have access to different forums and a varitey of ways to contact said people."
* StormyDream nods and then smiled. "What would I have to give them for them?" She seemed curious really.
* Jesse Fforde shakes his head. "Nothing. At least, not that I know of. They seem to like giving the weapons to family members for nothing," he says.
* StormyDream nods and clapped her hands together. "Oh goody, because I may have a bear fur or a wolf paw. But I doubt they want that."
* Jesse Fforde snorts. "No, but you can sell those things at the shops. Some of them are good for rituals," he says.
* StormyDream nods and smiled as she looked at him. "What are rituals used for?"
‹Jesse Fforde› "Plenty of things. To locate enemies. To locate those related by blood. To make a building neutral, so no one can attack. To make a building either weak or impenetrable. To curse people. To make homebound tomes - something you'll read, and it'll bring you home, immediately," he says.
* StormyDream nods as she listened, it seemed rituals where rather important, but sounded tedious. "I like the idea of making money more then rituals."
* Jesse Fforde laughs. "Yeah, if you like money then don't do rituals. I'm broke. Don't ask me for any because I don't have any," he says. "Though, we do have a family fund set up so if you need something desperately, we'll see if we can acquire it," he adds.
‹StormyDream› “I just need a sword and a gun really. If I get those I should be fine no?”
* Jesse Fforde smiles and nods. "Yeah. We'll get you a good sword and a good gun and we'll teach you how to use them," he says. "Train on zombies. Then on Ancient and Mooncalves. Work your way up to the Hunters - and the big bads beyond."
* StormyDream smiled brightly as she yawned slightly. "I should get some rest, but I look forward to your next visit, and thank you for visiting."
* Jesse Fforde salutes the young girl. "I'm happy to see you'r at least making the best of your situation. I will be back to bring you some more spirits to play with."
* StormyDream smiled as she kissed his cheek and spun around. "Nothing much to do but be happy. This city is rather great, you need to take the good and the bad."
* Jesse Fforde laughs and shakes his head. "If you say so," he says, not convincingly, before he disappears completely. He needs no doors to get out - he just needs to think it, and he's gone. No need for stunningly weird goodbyes.
* Jesse Fforde arches a brow as he continues to stand still. "I'm not sure it's supposed to be fun down here.
