Hacking for Hacking 2 people

So Pi isn't stat'd for hacking, she only has hacking 2, however, she has pretty decent scripts, V4's but mostly V6's, as well, as the Mapper ones and other bits and pieces.

What dictates the hacking level? Cause invariably, the random hack level allocation, usually allocates her hacking level 3+ which her hacking 2 can't deal with at all. Fail sauce alot just on her one hack a day.

Ideas? Where are all the L1 hacks? Or am I just unlucky?

Is it her reasonable high Intel? I can't figure out why she gets all these higher (not hugely high) hack levels.

intel is just number of moves...it is hard to be consistant hacking till you reach hack 5

What skill chooses what level hack you get, or is it random?

The higher your hacking skill, the higher your system level will be. Low level hackers generally start with a system in the 5 or below area... Though my experience with low systems happened before the caps were at 20.

Okay, that's about what I'm seeing right now. So it's normal and Pi just sucks. Awesome :)

But with hack 2, that's unsurprising, I just really want tiny baby hacks. Gimme L1 & L2 ! Thanks Ari.

Each time you put points in to hacking, the system levels will go up. Getting all V6 scripts would help with your success rate.

this, but if i recall, from lvl 1 thru lvl 5 you get lvl 3-5 systems, and that is why at lvl 5, you become much more consistant

So there is no such thing as an L1 or L2 hack?

if you do sabo attacks with a thrall sometimes get 2's..... but it has been 3 yrs since i had 2 hack...not sure

I've honestly never seen a level 1 or 2 hack. 3 is probably the lowest I saw when Ari was just starting out.
