Black Thursday [Group 21]

On Thursday the 15th of January, in the early hours before sunrise, Harper Rock is about to be bombarded with the worst storms it has seen in three decades. Though the weather reports going out are indicating that there is a mild storm coming, they do not know the extent of the damage that is about to be done. Nor do they realise that on the same day there's going to be a massive earthquake in the Harper Rock area, measuring roughly 7.0 on the Richter scale. The culmination of these things will cause serious damage to many buildings, tear up trees, flood many riverside areas, and cause power outages and deaths.

The problem for vampires is that sunrise is coming, and many are left stranded out in the open, or in crumbling buildings with rescue workers coming and going. Who you get stranded with, where, and in what dire situations might end up being left more to fate than to your own choices.

Situation: Unable to get to your nearest haven or lair, you find yourselves taking refuge in building a couple of hours before sunrise.

Please note: from a roleplay perspective, you might find yourself unable to tome home, due to the earthquake potentially disrupting the placement of altars, or causing rubble to block spawning points. It's up to you as the writer of your character, but this is just a suggestion as to why you might not simply be able to tome home.


Alright. So now that we've got a group established I think it would be wonderful for us to all throw out any ideas, questions, or concerns we might have here in this thread.

Nirmala nor myself are familiar with any of the other characters. That goes the same for Seigneur de l`Azur. If there's anything you could tell me about that place, I would love it. For now I'm going to try and do some research on my own, maybe see what other people can tell me. But for that reason I doubt I'll be starting the thread. If it were somewhere else, I'd probably just throw some words up for you, but, ya know. I'm excited to write with you all, though.

It was the first designed raid building . It was rped as a gang of blood thieves named the Broursard That had came to Harper rock most of them were played by players . Its located in Coastside just west of the Airport. It has been abandoned for over a year now so I imagine its been a bit ransacked by thieves squatters and such. So even if it was once nice it probably isn't so now .

I'm not entirely sure on the building, either, and I'll get a post up tomorrow.

But, a bit about Nakia:

She's a 'rogue' government agent. She was sent to Harper Rock on a case, but it was really meant to get her killed. Which, in a way, it worked. However, she's gotten completely paranoid. She believes that the government agency she worked for is behind EVERYTHING that happens to her. She thinks, literally, they put a chip in her brain to stalk her and torment her.

It doesn't control -everything- she does. She can be normal for the most part, until she feels threatened or gets stressed out, or is just plain having an off day. I haven't really written her in quite some time, so bear with me on it.

The curses she has are:

Harmed by Light
Inheritance of Madness
Sentient Shadow
Temporal Disruption

So, that will all be incorporated somehow. I look forward to seeing how this all turns out!
