He's got one childe who is actively written. Skylar needs someone to play with. And. Well. Someone else to come in and knock Elliot around a bit, plot-wise. Maybe. I'm open to ideas. Things. Anything. Let's do this thing.

Please? I keep making these things and getting no bites but I am a person who does not give up!

I am very curious.

This isn't the first time (nor will it be the last) that I've put up something for Elliot - to try to get him into some plots or to get him some childer or whatever it might be.

No one is ever interested. 35 views and not a single hit.

Why is that? Not angry - just curious.

I'm going to assume that the views are simply curious people who wonder what the topic is about. I was one of them. And I know of others who would love more childer as well but it's just not gonna happen. Maybe once beta is done and we get more people coming in who are new with plenty of char slots lol. I just used the last one for us though I can buy another. But I got 3, wife has 1. I had help with Erebos otherwise I most likely wouldn't have made him lol

I don't know, I've seen quite a few new people filtering in recently. But it's not just about childer really, honestly. I've opened other threads, curious to start plots, but nothing has happened. I just wonder whether it's the mod status putting people off? Or is he just not an interesting character?

And I get most of the views are curious people - the same thing would have happened with Peter's thread, but he got heaps of hits and people responding to it and what not.

Your pitch basically reads, to me, as: "Be my RP *****, I will pay you."

That's just my interpretation of course and the arrogance of that message will be off-putting to people. You might not have meant it that way at all, but that's how it sounds.

The mention of you being a moderator wouldn't, in my eyes, add anything positive to the impression I'm getting either. "I'm a moderator so I deserve your respect as my RP *****, besides, I'm paying."

Like I said, it could be just me reading it like that because - frankly - I don't know you, but I thought I would share as a person who doesn't know you as you seem to be aiming this at new people.

I didn't intend that at all by mentioning being a moderator. I was actually genuinely curious as to whether that would be off-putting, not because I thought I should get more respect because of it.

The wanting to spoil someone was in jest - I want to spoil someone with writing rather than just IC monies.

Generally - I am a person who loves to write and plot and develop my characters and help with the development of other characters. Elliot's my longest-standing character here, and my most developed.

I realise now this thread could come across as sulking or attention-seeking or whatnot, but it really seriously genuinely isn't. My other characters get plenty of play and plenty of people interested in writing with them, but for some reason Elliot doesn't have many people circling him. I am legitimately interested in reasons why people might not be interested in roleplaying with him, so that I might be able to work on something to change how he's written or perceived so that he might get more bites.

I'm sure people are interested. Chloe is a great partner to have. And there's nothing wrong with wanting one of your characters to get as much generated posts as the others. Elliot only has one active child and there's nothing wrong with wanting more in order to generated positive or negative interactions between characters.

And there's nothing wrong mentioning that Elliot has money he can shell out to his childer. One thing about making new character is the fact it's hard with no money at the beginning. So if he could help them succeed easier, why not put it out there?

In all honesty I am wanting Patrick sired at some point but was unsure on your feelings about siring him what with Renee/Jesse and then Peter/Onyx are all in the same families. If it is not a problem for you then you can gladly have boy

I really don't see how it's unnecessary. To me, the term reflected exactly what I meant. I could have used a synonym, but it wouldn't have reflected what I meant. Why say one word when you really mean another? I'm sorry, I don't understand your point.

Just to be clear, I never said this is what Elliot's player is doing.

I merely stated that was the impression I got as a person unfamiliar with Elliot and the player.

The player requested feedback on why it may be that people wouldn't be interested in this pitch and I stated an opinion that was mine.
