Hello! A bit of background in terms of threads and the like... I wasn't sure if I'd prefer to have a vampire (my usual speed) or to explore human classes for a while. I'm still not sure, so I'd put it out there that I wouldn't be heartbroken if someone decided they wanted to sire Eleusis. I'm also not at all averse to just playing interesting storylines as they develop.

I'm not new to forum rp, but I'm new to POTV. I think the grid is probably going to be more tricky for me. That said, I'll probably be acquainting myself with various things via the wiki for days to come. :)

More info is in Eleusis' CS, but he's a centered, practical, driven young man. He's also somewhat haunted, prone to nightmares he can't explain, and drawn simultaneously to life energy through chi, through balance and healing, and to death... particularly the physical remains of the dead and the rituals used to bury them. He's a student and a forensics intern. He's also a dominant personality despite his pretty face, and more passionate than his cool, intellectual nature would like to admit.

I'm interested in any sort of RP. Casual, unexpected, positive, negative... I'm available to discuss ideas on this thread, on PM, or YIM at selachianblade.

I just wanted to point out that your character seems very interesting. I like the effort you put into his CS on the grid as well. This 'haunted' trait in particular has me curious. Would this be, in your opinion, something supernatural or perhaps something else? You don't have to answer that if you're looking to keep the mystery, but I'm looking forward to finding out.

I'll be happy to plot RPs with you too.

@Pi: I would love to roleplay with you at any time. I'm certainly open to discussion anywhere; here, PMs, chat, etc. I often keep odd hours myself and I understand the difficulty of making connections sometimes.

@Myk: Thank you for the compliments! I want to expand on things a little bit, to make them more clear in the future. As far as his 'haunted' nature, for now it mostly has to do with intense recurring nightmares, some of which may eventually have some basis in what's to come. Although he's a far cry from able to see the future, he's always been tormented by these dreams and these unconscious impulses (toward death and the physical remnants thereof). Oh, and I'd love to RP with you as well.

I'd like to enter, so I'll have to get on that right away. ;) I appreciate the welcome and the offers of help, and I'll be sure to take full advantage when I start getting confused... which should be any minute now, probably the moment I'm out of the tutorial. ;D

Welcome to Path! I'm definitely down for some writing at some point in time; I'll take a peek at the CS and see if I can think up some kind of plot when my mind's less fuzzy from lack of sleep >.<

If you have questions about the grid, feel free to give me a poke. I'm happy to walk people through things; the wiki's a good resource, but some things are a bit outdated, so if it's confusing, please give me a jab so I can both clarify it for you and improve the article.

That sounds like something you could expand on nicely. ^^

I do a similar thing with Myk. He has dreams now and again and they become 'true'. I haven't explained it and I won't because it could be a number of things; self-fulfilling prophecy for instance. It's fun to keep the mystery and the more vague you are, the more ways you can twist it and create something different or inspire other things to happen.

LOL! That's quite a coincidence! Here I am, just minding my own business, trying to get through the tutorial, and plot falls into my lap! I love my life sometimes.

... Now the B&E thing sounds like a lot more of a challenge, and I think I'm still wounded. I ought to check that first...
