Apparently, the Alpha decided it wanted to try a hand at shooting Reanna! It must have been upset that she kept shooting it in it's face.
Reanna bore down on the alpha fadebeast and wrestled them, their palms igniting as they pressed them towards the alpha fadebeast's face.
But the alpha fadebeast broke away from the grapple and pushed Reanna back.
Reanna attempted to blind the alpha fadebeast with her mystic powers.
The power worked and the alpha fadebeast was partially blinded!
Reanna charged, but was forced back into cover by the steady wave of bullets.
The alpha fadebeast charged.
The alpha fadebeast dived at Reanna with its massive jaws of uneven fangs bared wide.
That's the only time it happened in the entire fight.

Re: Alpha Fadebeast and... shooting?
While looking over a battle between Elizabeth Naarc vs Alpha, I came across this:
Elizabeth Naarc used Mind Block, attempting to neuter the alpha fadebeast's special abilities.
The power was successful!
Pretty sure Fades are without "special abilities"

Yes, she succeeded at blocking its special abilities. The fadebeast just doesn't have any, so it's a waste of a turn and an anima <.<Reganleif wrote:While looking over a battle between Elizabeth Naarc vs Alpha, I came across this:

Re: Alpha Fadebeast and... shooting?
It seems to have a "special" talent for skull crushing, but I doubt that it uses its mind to do that.
I would think that all Fadebeasts are able to morph through solid matter. The "Fade" in the name kinda makes them sound like they can, at least to me.

Yup. Gotta tinker with tactics like you do in the gauntlet or other battles against certain npcs.Phoenix wrote:Yes, she succeeded at blocking its special abilities. Why are you taking me through troubled waters, I asked? Because your enemies cannot swim, he replied.
