David had sat at the computer, he wasn't sure what to say to Kira, but he figured the only thing he could do to try and even begin to talk to her without having to see her face was to simply ask about their apartment. It was a place he had bought for them... without them sharing a place, he even put her name down on the lease as co-owner of the place.

It had been simple, do you want our apartment. It had been days before he would hear back, part because he kept himself from checking the computer for a few days, and part because he didn't want to know what she would say. Besides by the time he made up his mind to stop checking, she hadn't replied to him yet... and of course it would seem by that time he kept himself away from the computer she would reply.

Finally he read it, it hurt him and it pissed him off. She never saw it as their place, even though he had given her co-ownership, had been willing to give her the largest of the rooms, to do the place nicely but in her own personal style... minus his own room. That had hurt. What had pissed him off was about the so called family home. Gambat still owned half that place, yet everything seemed to list that wasn't the case at all. He didn't even know if you could switch owners in a place that you didn't completely own but perhaps that hadn't been the case at all. Maybe she was just leaving it to her to take care of like a caretaker...

David growled as he typed his response... that it had always been their place. That he would give it to her if she wanted before logging off.
