Since the price of selling a pint of blood to a Blood Thief is literally the same amount of money as it takes to buy a contraband blood pack in shops, it seems to me there is very little profit to be had (especially when compared to the prices that BTs used to drop before).

I would like to suggest implementing one of two things:

Either re-raise the selling price back up to $300 and have it make more financial sense for there to be a vampire risking his life by consorting with humans.

OR

Have the amount paid out linked directly into the city alert level, where the higher the alert, the more dearly a blood thief is willing to negotiate for a pint (up to a reasonable cap) As it is, there is very little reasonable motivation on grid to keep the city alert high instead of making things harder for other vampires. This implementation (and others like it) would make sense for the hackers and masquerade breakers to strive for keeping a higher city alert level..
