Tanking in Path (shift wounds from one character to another)

With the way combat works in this game, it is difficult to have a "tank" type character that absorbs damage for his fellows. Working with the current system, I have a few ideas to work with this.

A ritual that pulls a wound from the victim and applies it to someone else.

A Mastery Power that allows one of the healer classes (Necro/Mystic) to pull a wound from a victim and apply it to someone else.

A Mastery Power that allows one of the tank classes (Killer) to "protect" someone, receiving the first wound that they would gain instead of the victim.
