Madison: Pulling out her phone, Madison opens her contacts list and scrolls down to find Zen's name. Swiping over his name to the right, the gadget initiates the call and Madison brings the device to her ear to listen to it ring.

Zen: Ah, hello Madison.

Madison: "Hey. Can you tell me what the hell is going on? I can't access the 5C boards and Alex said something about I've been kicked out?"

Zen: "I saw that, yes. I am perturbed by the choice by Killian. There seems to be some small... consensus, that it is a matter between you and Killian. So not too much has been stated about it."

Zen: "Other than a summary of the mess you were involved in."

Madison: "Killian hasn't talked about this with me at all. Not a damn word. That thread on the 5C board, my business between Robert and myself is my business. He is not a member of Fifth Colum, he left."

Zen: "That was much how I thought of it as well, but Killian seems inordinately upset. I will vouch for you in the topic."

Zen: "Oh, how rude of me... How are you?"

Madison: "Pretty peeved at the moment," Madison said calmly, the tone of voice not at all matching the admittance of anger. "I have done nothing wrong and have donated my time, energy and money into this cause to get kicked out because of someone who left in a fit?"

Madison: "Is it true that he was readmitted after I was kicked out with no word? Alex tells me he's back on the boards."

Zen: "And even amidst his worst torrents of insults and curses, he was never threatened with removal. I noticed."

Zen: "He is on the list of members, yes. I do not think I have seen him say much yet, but he is present. This does not please me either."

Zen: "It may reassure you that several people are unhappy with your dismissal. I hope you and Killian can talk. Would you want to return should you be invited back? I do not know how offended you remain."

Madison: "I haven't spoken to Killian yet," Madison paused, "I don't know how civil I would be at this moment and right now I don't know. Probably because I don't think he gives a ****."

Zen: "Perhaps it is better in a way then, for a very small delay. Still, I hope he comes into contact with you soon. Enver, Alex, and myself have now let Killian know our thoughts on the forum."

Madison: "I was thinking I should contact Enver too. I planned on calling him after you."

Zen: "Yes. That would be beneficial for you, I think. Although he seems just as annoyed that he feels ignored, as he is about the whole fiasco. Which certainly does not help."

Madison: Out of habit, Madison nodded with the phone against her ear, "I can understand that. Enver is very dedicated and has made himself extremely available to Fifth. I could see why he would like some say."

Madison: "Thank you Zen, for talking to me. I'm going to try calling Enver now. Hopefully he has some insight as well."

Zen: "Of course. I wish you well and luck."

Madison: "I'll let you know if I find any fadeling corpses tonight. Think I'm going to hit the QZ after all of this. Bye Zen."

Madison: After getting off the phone with Zen, Madison dialed the only other person in Fifth Column who could possibly give her answers. Pulling up Enver's number in her directory, she swiped her thumb across the screen to the right to initiate the call and then brought the device to her ear to listen to it ring.

Madison: When she got a voicemail recording, Madison left a message, "Enver, it's Madison. What the hell is going on? I can't access the 5C boards, Alex and Zen told me I've been removed because of Robert. Killian hasn't said a word to me. Give me a call? Please?"

Enver Marshall II: He got her voice mail and grit his teeth. He hated being the middle man because he felt like he was always betraying someone he liked. He listened to it, then cleared his throat and redialed the number. It rang, but once she picked up, he identified himself. "Madison, this is Enver."

Madison: Seeing Enver's name pop up on her phone, Madison answered it and greeted him first, "Hey," He didn't say hello, just identified that it was indeed him. Madison sighed, "Thanks for calling me back."

Enver Marshall II: "Not a problem. Look, I don't know much, truth be told. All I know is that yeah, you were removed over **** with you and Pratt. I'm not sure why as the guy isn't in 5th, but Killian has some bug up his *** about it." He cleared his throat. "I also know not a lot of people are happy with his rash decision. I'm sorry that you got got removed before anything was done through what I thought had some proper channels."

Madison: "It's probably because of Pi honestly." Madison sighed again, "I haven't spoken to her since everyone fled last night, I don't know why she did what she did but I have always kept 5C separate from the d'Artois. Well except for the fact that I cleaned out their entire supply of copper pipes and expensive mach parts for emitters. They thought I was just building normal traps."

Madison: Her phone beeped....another call was coming in. Pulling the phone away from her face, Madison looked at it and frowned. Killian was calling. She brought the phone to her ear, "Hey Enver....Killian is calling....what do I say?"

Enver Marshall II: He nodded his head. "Look, I've made it known to Killian that what he did was stupid for a few reasons, but I'm not sure he's going to budge. I appreciate all the work you've done for the group. I'm sorry to see it have to come down to this, I'm just hoping he'll pull his head out of his *** and soon. We've been working effectively as a group for the first time in a long time with you and the others around." He sighed as she talked then shrugged. he didn't have the foggiest. "Ask him when he's going to pull his head out of his ***." He chuckled. "But tell him what you think, whatever that is. I'd like to try and salvage this, as I think what we have is finally working and effective, and good. But if he's not willing to budge, I'm not sure what good it's going to do the group, Madison, no matter what I try and say to either one of you."

Madison: "Thanks Enver. I'll call you later."

Enver Marshall II: "sounds good."

Killian: Killian picked up his phone and dialed Madison's number, sighing as he heard the line begin to ring.

Madison: Madison pulled the phone away from her ear and hung up with Enver while answering the incoming call at the same time, "Hello?"

Killian: "Madison. It's Killian. I want to apologize for my actions today. I acted rashly, without putting as much thought into things as I should have.. and if you would consider it, I would like you to return, after a two day suspension.."

Madison: Madison had been wincing, waiting for the barrage of insults and '**** offs' she thought were sure to come from Killian. But when he started to speak, her brow furrowed in confusion as it was the last thing she expected to hear. There was a long and pregnant pause before she responded, thinking she had misheard him, "Wait, what? A suspension?"

Killian: "Like I said, I acted rashly, and out of anger and frustration at you attacking Robert after I was shot trying to keep him from being killed. And nearly everyone in the group telling me that I'm an idiot for doing what I did helped to change my mind quite a bit, too. However, I do think that I was pretty clear when I'd said that we shouldn't be attacking people that are on our side of the fence, hence the short suspension.. Is that something you would accept?"

Madison: "Yes and no. You did act rashly but again, what is between me and Robert is no one's business but ours. Time and time again, he keeps pulling people who have nothing to do with us, into this problem we have. Right now, I'm going back and forth with Serendipity because he pulled her in too. This has gone on for much longer than either of us have been a part of Fifth Column and before today, he wasn't a member. While you may think he's on your side of the fence, the only side of the fence he is on, is his own."

Killian: "And if I'm wrong, then it's on me. And I'll deal with it if the time comes. With shotgun shells. And I'll shoot to kill for that level of a betrayl. But, the next question I have is: do you think you can either work with him as civilly as possible, or ignore him entirely, while working for Fifth Column? The same question will be posed to him, and I really would love to have both of you around, because you bring your own strengths and ideas to the table.."

Madison: "Get rid of the two day suspension, honestly, what is two days when the boards often go quiet for weeks on end? I shouldn't be punished for something that wasn't technically Fifth Column's business to get involved in. I will play nice with Robert, and by play nice, I will ignore his existence unless absolutely integral to what we are working on."

Killian: "Deal."

Madison: "I hope you find him as agreeable," she offered to Killian. 'But I doubt it,' she finished in her head, "What do you suggest I do about Serendipity?"

Killian: "Talk it out, argue it out, hit her back if she hits you... But, please don't attack her outright, because we've got some bigger fish to fry at the moment. Like those crazy bastards from last night."

Madison: "I didn't intend on it. And yeah, those guys from last night. What a **** storm. By the way, that tome Pi got from some dead guy in the Necropolis that lead us to this meeting? I have it."

Killian: "God, let's not even get started on the clusterfuck from last night.. And, I don't know **** about a tome, or what happened at the Necropolis.. But I'm glad that it's in friendly hands."

Madison: "I'll see about getting a copy to Zen. Maybe he can figure it out. The fae language is freaking weird."

Killian: "I agree with that one whole-heartedly."

Madison: "Thank you for calling me Killian. Is there anything else you need?"

Killian: "I've got a few items that you might find useful?"

Madison: "Oh? Whatchya got?"

Killian: "I've got a pretty extensive list of stuff.. it'd be easier for you to tell me what you need, and I'll tell you if I've got it."

Madison: "Lately all I need is copper pipe and expensive machinery parts. I've been buying the motors from the shops."

Killian: "I have... neither of those. Am I just imagining someone requesting expensive cell phones and cheap gold bracelets? Also have a stereo system, a couple wire reels, a microwave, and a few boxes of perfume.. I know those all get used for building things, but I can never remember what they're for and what else they go with."

Killian: "Oh, and four motion sensors."

Madison: "Oh I had asked for the expensive cellphones but I found an easier way to make the emitters. I don't know what the bracelets are used for, I don't use them for anything. The rest of the stuff I do use for traps, I've just been focusing on the emitters because it shuts down all electronics and seeing that everything seems riddled with Crow crap, thought it was a good idea."

Killian: "Well, if you want any of that stuff so you can make traps to sell or whatever and start to earn back a bit of the money you've put into the cause, let me know and I'll get them to you as soon as possible."

Madison: "I'll probably just hold on to them for when we get our headquarters set up. Never know when we might need them. I can swing by if you'd like? I'm heading out soon to go hit the local warehouses before heading to the QZ for a spell."

Killian: "I'm sitting at the bank in Gullsborough at the moment. If that's not out of the way, feel free to swing by and I'll give you a few things."

Madison: "See you in a few."
