OOC: Don't know if David is going to the Shadow Realm, tired of waiting to write this.

Kira stared up at the moon, big and full, the light covered the land. She was wearing an outfit that reminded her of what Warrior wore in the Inner World, but it was black, not white. She went into the temple to try to gather her thoughts. She paced back and forth, her heels clicking on the stone floor. The longer she paced, the more she left like she was going to explode. Not here...not here.
She was out the door a moment later, walking out to the side, ignoring the danger of the fae. Her greens eyes went up to the sky, at that big bright moon. "What did I do in the past to deserve this! What have I done to be alone for all time?" she yelled.
All she could think of is the times in the past, trust someone, get close, only to lose them. Jarrett made her kill him with her own hands. What kind of fate was this? Who was pulling the strings on her life?
Her eyes narrowed, she was about to yell some more when she felt a sharp pain in her chest. It was all in her head, nothing hit her, she hadn't been attacked, it was an internal pain, something that shouldn't happen. Her eyes closed, her body fell to the ground, her conscious entered the foggy inner world. She couldn't see anything at all, the fog was too thick.
Now what?
"Yelling at our gods won't do much good. You know that.."
"Warror?" Kira said, it sounded too gentle to be her.
"Sort of." the voice said, "I'm more of Kaley, the Priestess."
Kira froze, "Ah hell, I don't need another voice in my damn head." she said, turning to walk away from the voice, only to find the ground cut short, ending in a cliff.
"Does it look familiar?"
Kira stared down at the cliff. The fog cleared and she saw the ocean water beating against the rocky side. "One of my endings. Or so the dream suggested." she said.
"And no, taking your own life, or trying to would not be something the goddess would punish you for. She knows the torment of your heart, and you try your best. That's all that could ever be asked for.."
"I know...deep down I know." Kira replied, "But I can't help but to be angry with hand I have been dealt. The start of my life is a mystery, I can't help but fight. Anyone who has ever tried to love me has died. Anyone else with any sort of interest are just crazy fucks who don't care about me." she smirked. "I should just be a priestess again. I qualify still."
"That you do.."
Kira turned away from the cliff. "Why couldn't you have been the first voice. Warrior is far too annoying." she said.
"We are one. There is no one or the other...just as you are the balance of us."
Kira sighed, "There goes the nonsense.." she said.
"I thought you liked it.." that was Warrior, the harsh tone was easy to tell. Kira saw a figure rushing out of the fog. Warrior jumped at her,
"Time to wake up.." she said as they went over the cliff.
Puppet had found Kira laying out in the grass, dangerous place to be. She had claw marks on her arms, he wondered if she had been attacked. By fae maybe? He picked her up and carried her inside, sitting down with her. She felt her tense up before jumping slightly as she woke up. "Shh, your safe." he said softly.
"Dave..?" Kira asked softly.
He raised an eyebrow, she never called him by his name. "Yes. What happened out there? Were you attacked?" he asked.
She lifted her head, looking to her arms. "I don't remember being attacked.." she said, looking to her nails to see if they were self inflicted but saw no blood. She rested her head on him again, "If it was the fae then they are sexist and racist...attack a white female but won't attack a black male. Bastards."
Puppet sighed softly. Why wasn't she moving? "Kira..? Are you alright?" he asked.
"Crisis of faith I suppose. Crisis...of life." Kira said, "Suppose its not my faith that is the problem. Its people."
"You have no control over people.." Puppet replied.
"I know.." Kira said, "People make no sense. I'm tired of trying to understand them...there is no such as love. Why do people even kid each other with the term. It is nothing more than desire and once that desire fades, they call it falling out of love. If you really loved someone, that would never happen. There is nothing but desire and lust, nothing more."
"They say that you replace friends every seven years...when you have forever, maybe vampires replace theirs a lot sooner out of boredom.." she added.
"Kira.." Puppet said carefully, he felt her face buried into his neck and thought she was going to bite him.
"Being happy is never going to be an option...and even though I know there will be no partner for me...I need to get rid of David as a husband. To be tied to someone who cares nothing for you...it just isn't right.." Kira said. "If there is someone out there I could trust...can't get close if I'm married."
"I'm all for you getting rid of David as a husband.." Puppet muttered. "And since when do you wear skirts?" he asked.
"I have shorts under it. No one sees my underwear, even if I'm kicking their face in." Kira replied simply. He chuckled. From the weight of her head, he could tell she had fallen asleep.
Puppet sighed. He carefully got up with her. He returned home with her, he tried to lay her down on her bed but her fingers dug into his shirt. "Kira..." he tried to pry her fingers free.
Kira's eyes snapped open.
"Sorry, I was just trying to put you to bed." Puppet said as he eased her to the bed.
Kira looked around, and stood up. "Enough sleep." she said, "And enough with any feelings I do have. I'm a warrior and I'm strong." she said, crossing over to her closet and went inside. She came back out wearing her fighting outfit. "Time to clear the streets.."
Puppet sighed, "Can I suggest watching movies or playing music instead?" he asked.
Kira shook her head, her blonde hair flowing around her head. "Maybe later." she said. She turned and headed out of her room.
