I'll RP with either grouping. :) As I said, Pi already has that history with Robert so makes sense for things to happen there. While Alaric possibly knows of the movement from his time before the holocaust. Both are cool with me.

Enzo Vaughn wrote:We already have entire factions devoted to just this issue, the possible and now inevitable fall of the masquerade and showing a good face for when it happens. Not only that but actively seeking out secrets of vampiric pasts, histories and powers. Trying to find a way to be able to move from harpers rock, spread out so that this increasingly large population of supernaturals doesn't explode all over the place.

Poised and ready to go so to speak. Important thralls in place, RP'd out, regular thralls, connections, entire groups of sorcs even.

I've been told that I'm trying to do too much, and that you can't just have what older characters have, and that I should mind my place as a new player.

Seems to me if you just game it, it will happen and Dragonal and Dragomir are ready for it now ;)
This is why I suggested the active factions list/directory so we know what's out there and who's doing what. Because all of that? Sounds awesome!

Can I point you to the two other threads in this forum I've created? Solace and the other by Robert. Because I'd love to get involved somehow, and there's info on him and his organisation there - and I'll happily discuss the religious side of him as well if you like, as it goes into where you mentioned vampiric past and such. :)

Absolutely yes, we'd love to game it up with you. Enzo is sort of my unifier charrie, anyone and everyone is welcome.

It's a very large part of Dragonal, the searching for mystical answers. Right now loads of it happens in Live chat, but I plan on moving that to forums a bit more as the chapter begins. Making alliances, bringing characters together, and gaining trust with the pathed humans has been exhaustive but worth it as we really are very well rounded as a large group.

Jennifer, it's good you're back writing on the forum after your two year break, but I won't be writing Pi with Robert right now, mostly because I'm not writing her at all and also because we are not in a good ooc space to discuss plots, and I think that's necessary for me to write good stories. Maybe that will change now that you're back and I can build some trust. We will see how that goes.

Fabbie! I'll let you have a read and then just poke at the thread or my PM with what you think or ideas you have?

No worries. Hope things get better for you OOCly so you can get back to writing, as you seemed keen to get into things again. There are certainly no hard feelings here for your past actions, so whenever you're ready, just shout. :D

Welp, that kind of killed the atmosphere... thanks for that.

Good to know when we say, "Let's not let OOC hostilities get in the way of good RP," we mean other people's hostilities and not our own...

So... is there anything more to say on the Politics front or have we had our fill of trying to resolve the issues we brought up in the first place?

Or should I give up trying to help because we'd rather play on Blood?

Hmm? HMM?!

Been told several times now that people would rather focus their attentions elsewhere and that I should "wait for a month, when things die down over on Blood before the activity comes back to Path".

:))

I say, start whenever. If people are still here on Path and are still interested in making a difference through politics, then they should make an effort regardless if things are still new and happening on Blood. They started something here and should continue to be active until their character dies. Unless of course they have real life issues that need attending to. -Shrugs- That's my two cents.

However, on that note, I wouldn't mind throwing Shadis into politics on Path; seeing as she is kinda leaning in that direction. :D

o.o What killed the atmosphere?

And personally, my focus is on making a shopping list right now. LOL

I'd really rather this not turn into a 'Path vs Blood' debate. Both of them are mooncalf studios games and I personally want BOTH to be very successful.

As for politics, the Dragomir are more than happy to make alliances either formal or informal with anyone who is interested. We'll be returning to our regularly scheduled monthly parties and informal weekly (or more often) gatherings here starting next week. Anyone is welcome to attend those. Dragomir players are VERY community oriented, not oriented towards building a specific single faction or bloodline (even if our characters may have a lot of family pride).

So if anyone is interested, just give a shout out. Or join one of our gatherings. Or jump into an open thread if we've got some rolling. Or we can jump into yours. Or we can go to your gatherings or...whatever >.> Seriously. Super easy. We are the political/RP sluts of the game. Ngl.

That being said, the next 2 months (well month and a half now), are REALLY tight for me because of school. Starting August, that will lessen up some. September I will have significantly more time to devote to everything.

So apologies if anything I've said has been too brief/not in depth enough. <3!

Some of us are putting things into play and having discussions.

I'd honestly like to see the inactive factions removed on an ooc level, or at least marked as "inactive" to get a better view of activity etc. Which I know has already been discussed elsewhere, but it's difficult knowing who to approach.

Realistically, the intention is to be fairly selective going forward, to encourage activity and also not make things too focused on any single group.

I know that people who aren't interested in Blood are frustrated, but think of it this way... The people around, interested in doing things are speaking up, are getting an opportunity to actually do so... Why don't we use that?

OOC ******** is too deeply ingrained, unfortunately, as much as I wish it didn't have to be the case. I got an unkind reminder of that recently, just when I was really pleased that there had been no drama for me this time lol. Oh well, purely interested on focusing on plots, making great stories and having FUN interactions.

Maybe we should put more emphasis on the fun/entertainment rather than the heavy if people aren't in a place to pursue it or it's stirring too much tension.
