Aden grunted and looked at Dave, he couldn't recognize him at all he saw was a person in a van way too close to Valkyrie. That's all he knew at the moment is mind was pure reactionary. He was going to protect what was his no matter what, know one was going to harm his Valkyrie. No one.

Kira must've known what was going to happen, he didn't actually quite understand her words as all he could hear was the emotion. Like a bull he snorted, his black eyes focused in on Dave as he began to move slow steps at first that slowly went from a walk to a quick pace that slowly evolved into a jog as he was heading towards him. From the looks of it, he was going to run into the van and ripped the poor man out of it.

If Aden would've been in his right mind he would've done this as a joke, stopped right as he got close to him and screamed. Then burst out laughing because it would've been hilarious to see Dave's face. But in this state that's not what was going to happen. He was going to rip the poor little man to shreds if he got a hold of him. And that was not going to be good

"Dearg! Stop!" Kira yelled at him, nope, he was full raging bull right towards Dave. "Dave! Get out of here!"

"Don't have to tell me twice." Dave muttered, shifting the van in reverse.

"God damn Dearg, making me get up." Kira grumbled as she staggered to her feet. Focus. Dave's life is in danger. She used super jump then her wings to fall right on top of the man, wrapping her arms around his neck. It was an odd sight. A small woman trying to hold onto someone of his size. "Clam the **** down! I won't forgive you hurting my human!" she said, using her power to calm him down. "Hope your jacket is washable because I'm getting blood all over it back here." she was flapping her wings trying to slow him down. "Don't make me stab you in the spine!"

Aden all the sudden had this small woman attached to them with wings pulling on him trying to stop him from running after Dave. As soon as she touched him he began instantly to calm down his eyes slowly went back to normal took several steps and he stopped. " Man you should see Dave's Face look at it". Aden turned around and looked at her the best he could as she was attached to him. She was like a spider monkey that had attached herself to him using her wings now to pull him backward and stop him.

" Dearg... it's been a while since you called me that. He still Driving you and make a bet how far he wil gol before he stops? Oh can we continue to pretend like we're still fighting until we catch up to them and then we both yell Boo? This would be so much fun." turns his face the best he can so that he can try to look at her." Your not to let me do that are you? Damn it? What the hell is wrong with you anyway? Like I feel like I going to cry, stab someone go into rage mode again and every other conceivable human emotions all at one time. I don't know what's going on with you but it's crazy. I don't know how I going to be able to control this . Can I take a picture of you attached to me like a spider monkey?"

"Of course, hopefully, he hasn't pissed himself. You were seriously going to kill him." Kira muttered, trying to figure out how to get down gracefully but her balance was **** right now. "You haven't been in trouble lately so I haven't had to call you anything.." she glared at him, "I'm not interested in giving Dave a heart attack."

Her wings disappeared, "If I'm a spider monkey, you're a damn tree." she said, letting go of him only not to stick the landing and was right back on the ground. She hovered her hands above her chest, using two powers to heal the wound but the effects of it would still linger for some time. "I need a shot of 100 proof right about now." she said, "Dave! Come back...I need blood."

She took a deep breath, "I discovered this the first time someone shot my heart out. With my heart, I'm emotionless like a killer for the most part but once my heart is damaged, I feel every damn emotion I should have felt. It is enough to make someone go crazy."

She wanted a bath, to get drunk and just pass out, and just stop feeling. She rolled over and finally was able to get to her feet. She sent Dave a mind message, focusing hard on the power.

Dave slowly started to pull forward. "Are you sure everything is okay?" he asked from the cracked window. He was ready to just slam back in reverse if he had to.

Kira held onto the side of the van, "Everything is fine other than I need blood and booze and, do you have anti-anxiety medicine?"

"I deal with this ****, of course, I do." Dave snapped.

Kira whimpered and started to cry. "I'm sorry Davey.."

Dave blinked, "Hey, hey don't do that. I didn't mean to snap. How about some granny smith apples and peanut butter, sounds good yes?" dealing with emotional Kira was like being in the twilight zone.

Kira sniffled and nodded.

" I guess I will make my way to the warehouse so I can spend the next few hours cleanung my jacket and boots. As I'm not totally going over there to watch you get drunk and you can eat food. If I wanted to torture myself like that I would watch the food channel."

He started to make his way over towards his bike. Then as he put his hand on the handlebars he turned around. " So I can't kill the dirty Irishmen. Because he's a punk and talks **** and when he realized. I'm a lot bigger and more badass than he is. He hid behind the misfits and your best friend skirt like a little boy on the playground. Because he's in some make-believe family with you? Q2 you said it was when we last talked. Where were they when they we had the baby incident? Where are they you got shot?" He points at her" where were they when you have too much stuff going on at your club and at your store and you have me help and your running around frantically? Do they come out here and help Dave with the horses? Yes, sometimes he asked me to come out here and help unload some of the stuff for the horses mostly when their hay bails come in and sometimes I redo the salt blocks for him. Because I'm not shoveling poop."

He huffs " Do they swing on the club to check on you on a semi or at all basis?" grunts " I may be a DICK. but I'm always there when asshole tries to **** on you. Or whenever some other Dick thinks that he can **** you. And I mean that figuratively not literally. ... I'm going to kill him. And just like I said twice. If I have to train harder enough that I'm big enough that I can take on the whole damn family. Kill your best friend too. I checked up on her she's a badass from what I hear. My source says I got a ways to go. Don't think I'm gonna let it go he's going to see the shadow realm and it's going to be my doing."

Punch is the nearest relatively sturdy object " F****!!!! I hate loving you, try to drive you away but I can't. I don't know why you get under my skin. You drive me crazy but I enjoy it. I hate how you are but I love it at the same damn time. I miss you at times and I don't even know why. Then most likely if I go see you all that will happen is I get mad at you, you get mad at me. But Noo, You always end up saying the right thing in the end. There I am stuck. I can't be mad at you anymore. So I have to come back and see you. Then kind of makeup somehow to whatever the hell it is that gets us back to squareish. You know I care and ****. And I'm not good with emotions either dammit." His eyes slowly start fading to black" F*** I talk too much."

Her having emotions more so than normal was leaking into his was unable to control the feelings they were forcing their way to the service. This was going to be bad how was he going to be able to balance, it because she was going to feel what was going to make it worse. he would start to feel whatever she was feeling etc. it was always more found in him than her. Whoever came up with this sick twisted link should be shot.

Kira opened the side door to the van, getting into a mini fridge that had bags of blood in it. She sat in the doorway, sinking her fangs into the bag. "Ow.." she muttered, holding her head for a moment. "I'm sorry but I have to do something to drive the first 24 hours of being emotional overload. It will taper off after that...but will take some time for me to go back to my normal self"

"It's a dangerous time for me, I don't have that oh I'm going to kill you drive if something were to happen.."

She looked over at him and sighed when he brought up killing people who were family to her. This again. Then he started to rattle off about things, she became confused.

"Why would I call them for the baby? I wouldn't have even called you. I was just going to deal with in on my own other than Dave." Kira replied, "You think people are just going to show up and help me out just because I got shot? I get shot all the damn time."

Kira blinked, "Seriously?" she said, tossing the blood bag into the trash that was in the back of the van and stood up. "Why would family help out with my places of business? They have their own businesses to run, like Lexy. It is my problem to deal with and you don't need to do anything more than what I write your paycheck for." she shot a look at Dave. "Why are you asking for his help?"

"Because hay and salt blocks are freakin heavy and I'm not a vampire." Dave replied.

Kira rubbed her face, "I see Lexy a lot. I don't need to be checked on." she said. "and yes Lexy is a badass.."

"I don't know what a family is supposed to be like. I have had no one! I started life with no damn memory. I woke up in 2010. No one was looking for me, no one cared about me." Kira said, her eyes watering. "I'm used to being on my own and only myself to depend on."

"Kira's sire used to break her back. They would spare all the time and called it bonding. Her view on family is fucked up." Dave muttered.

"You don't get it do you, that's what family is. That there when you don't need them just because they want to be around you. I don't need you. I don't need to work for you I have enough money in my bank account to literally do nothing for the rest of my life and spend my money like a small rich guy. I work for you because I want to. You because you asked you said you needed my help.

If I only ever showed up when I needed you would never see me. I can fight by myself. I'm pretty damn good at it and I'm getting better at getting stronger as a vampire. Learning how to use my vampire powers.. We could spar but I don't think that would be a good idea on your end. From what I learned you would have me beat by powers as they seem to only come over time you can't rush them. But I'm pretty sure at this point the skill with a blade and a gun I would rip your pieces.

You keep telling me that you want to know more about me. I know you blank so there are not many stories you can tell. I don't care about that. I want to know who you are now. I don't even know what I want involving you. You having this much emotions is not helpful. You normally barely feel things and I feel twice is more whatever you're feeling when I'm around you. This is a crazy hard to concentrate.

His eyes slowly start to go black" Grrr" as he slowly starts to come back down again.

"No, I don't get it because I never had a family." Kira replied, "This isn't even a traditional family anyway. Lexy has childer of her own that she needs to spend time with."

"You don't need to work for me. I've always gotten by fine." she said confused. She thought he needed a job. It wasn't like she really needed to work either but it's what she enjoys. She sighed, if she wasn't like this her reply would be oh yeah well proof it because she likes fighting even if she knows the person is stronger. "Guess we won't know since you won't fight me and now is a very wrong time for that anyway."

"There's not much to even tell to who I am now. When I first came to this city I was rather wild and got into a lot of trouble but I've leveled out over the years here. I only said that I have no memory to proof the point that I have nothing to compare what family is supposed to be like because I had no one until now and what they do give me is good enough for me." Kira replied, "I'm like a cat. I want attention on my own terms anyway. When I kept getting fucked over, I didn't even want to be touched by anyone."

Kira hugged herself, "Yeah and that's why you should get away from me while I'm like this. Another reason for me to try to drink until I pass out. Silence the emotions for the both of us."

"We should probably get out of here the police will probably be here soon anyway. If that's what you want that's what I'll do. I'll head back and clean up my jacket ."

Began to make his way over towards his motorcycle glancing back at her before putting on his helmet.
