There might be a bug with AI working too quickly then. It's not supposed to 'kick-in' until the character has sat unmoved for 'a few minutes'. I'll look up the exact time and edit that in.

Allies

Gideon Barnes
Lasair Barnes
Sawyer
Ephraim Steele
Has been that way since last chapter and the battling grid wise they were doing. The retal Ai response was working then. Esli didn't fail to defend then or vice versa. Dom is usually like a cat pouncing on any mouse coming at Ric or Doc.

I'm guessing this. Liz shouldn't have came at all based on that.

Wanted to add that no one with these settings acted last night either. All were in the same area just like today. Feel free to log into Dominique or Esli Barnes if needed. Will leave them there.

Looks like an issue of the AI not triggering when AI was the cause of the original attack - which makes sense, because if that were the case, it would all just be immediate and automated. Though David will need to confirm.

So, if AI initiated an attack, then the one being attacked hits back, nothing really goes in the favor of the player being originally attacked? Justified, or unjustified?
Do allies actually attack, or do they just show up in the same square? Cause if latter, I don't really consider that defending...

I get what you are saying, Josh. But that picture that it sets seems to be one that doesn't do a lot for my boy Esli. He doesn't need people showing up to see him lose his nuts. He is honest. He will tell the story without having eye witnesses. Having people standing around to watch on his behalf means he has buddies standing there watching it happen. He needs some dignity. Sort of like that saying...with friends like these...
Gids would jump and throat punch, Dom would be tearing a spine out and so on. Again I get the automated explanation. Just seems something isn't right for the fact they arrive. Like after being summoned they couldn't jump in if the allie was hit a second time in front of them on AI?

I'm pretty sure allies are meant to attack whoever is attacking their ally - so if they aren't I /think/ that's a bug. David may need to clarify though. Either way, something does seem wonky here.

Okay- so correct me if I'm wrong about any of this. Paladin #A steps into a square where Paladin #B is sitting with vampires #C and #D.
C & D both Auto-attack A and B does nothing in defense because of (any number of reasons but Az's makes the most sense).
