Couldn't help the satisfied edge his smile took on as Penny introduced herself, and proceeded to decline the offer of entering the Quarantine Zone to search in lieu of Lincoln's suggestion. It seemed his diversion tactics were successful, and he wasn't lying about the lures or the cool critters he'd caught around Bullwood. "Penny, a pleasure." He replied quickly, nodding his agreement to her suggestion of company, Lincoln figuring he was done here anyway and these women seemed like they might be cool to spend the afternoon with. In fact, he'd opened his mouth to express this very sentiment only to find himself rudely interrupted by the voice from beyond the wall making her physical presence known. Lincoln King did not really like being interrupted, intentional or otherwise. The way she bounded over the barriers was far from subtle, so much so that Lincoln fought the urge to swear under his breath, fists balling briefly at his sides.
His handsome features twisted briefly into a flash of frustration, annoyance as he turned to look at her. Blind? And oddly covered up. A vampire, he figured, the creatures no secret to him and he'd yet to figure out whether they were on the friend or foe list, so far he was working on a case by case basis. Lincoln rubbed a hand against his mouth, as if he could rearrange his features manually into a more pleasant and bemused expression though his eyes were more difficult to control. A hard sheen had turned the pale green glassy, like marbles forged under the blazing heat of a kiln. "No, Bullwood isn't far... Are you joining us too, then? It seems we have a bit of a hunting party." His white teeth flashed as he grinned, returning his attention briefly to the redhead who was big on compliments and full of flirtatious smiles it seemed.
The young Sorcerer noted a pause in her, perhaps she was as concerned, or put out, by the newest arrival to their slowly growing group. He wondered how perceptive the rest were, if they saw the firm flex of his jaw where he clenched it in the forced grin. "Caligrace? Pretty... Well, I am quite happy to show you what it's all about. I mean, after all, I want to be the very best." His brow raised, showing he wasn't being entirely serious, doing a bit of his own harmless flirting in response. "Can I carry anything for you?" Lincoln flexed his arms, extending them expectantly, "That is, not to assume you aren't totally capable."
