Eldecrok nods and sympathizes. "Yes, Books are very expensive, and you almost never use them again. At the same time, new editions come out, supposedly rendering old books useless." He paused for a split second before collecting himself back together. "I claim non-sense. All a teacher needs to do is to know what has been updated. The only time a book needs a new edition is if a lot of it needs updating."

He lighter than normal, only to realize that he left his bag behind. Nothing too special, art here, password-encryption through endless files there. He'd see if they were still there in the morning, but this was more important.

Returning to his stoic state, he continues to conversation as they cross the street. "I have plenty of money, but I don't have a place to stay. Never really wanted a place, let alone tried to live there. I can help with food if you would like. Mother would always make things out of ingredients you never thought could go together. I know her recipes by heart."

A small smile as he mentions books, she was talking different kinds than school books but that was no big deal if he thought what he thought. "That is very true, books rarely need a new edition as much as they seem to make them."

She catches the slightly little look of him missing something and stops, pulling his arm for him to stop with her. "Did you forget something? We can always go back and get it. I don't mind taking a little more time out here with you."

Gives him a bright smile. "And I am never one to turn down someone cooking for me."

"Right, all nonsense. No point at all."

After she stops and pauses to make sure Eldecrok was alright with his things. "Nah. My passwords are quite secure. It'd take years to go through them. Nothing else that's important."

Eldecrok pulled Ona along a bit, to try to attempt to get moving again. "Come on now, let's keep going. I can't lead you home remember? By the way, how close would you say we were? I'd like to see this place of yours you know."

Eldecrok looked at her with a gentle smile to reassure that everything was alright. "Seriously, I don't need my bag. I've got plenty of money."

She laughs again softly and starts walking once more as he reminds her he has no idea where they are headed. Looking around at where they are currently. "About half way if we don'the take the stations."

"Let's not, it's fine night, and I don't want anyone to ruin the mood."

After passing by a station, he broke the momentary silence...

"Hey Ona? What do think of... them. You know? Fanged people."

Eldecrok examined himself, he was pretty alright. Bullet hole in his shirt from a while back, another in his fedora, soon he'd need something else to wear. He personally thinks vampires are good people, who just have some bad physical traits like drinking blood. He liked to share that blood to those who needed it. He was slowly becoming a soft, emotional fellow, least around this lass.

She hmms and looks over at him as they walk. Pushing a bit of her hair back over her shoulder by shifting her head.

"What do I think....oh..I'm not sure. I know they are a lot like people, some are good, some are bad and some are sort of in the middle. What about you? What do you think about them?"

Gives a smile and squeezing his arm as they keep walking.

"I always have considered them to be fascinating beings. Parents have been an interesting influence." Eldecrok lightiy squeezes his arm as she did with hers. "I think if we were just happy enough to feed them without paranoia, we'd be much happier. I mean, won't it be more peaceful if we were to coexist? Just have a way to monitor interactions and we're all set, no?"

Eldecrok paused for a moment in his speech, but kept walking with Ona. "Pardon me for that. I get a bit enthusiastic about them. My apologies if I offended you."

Leans lightly as she walks with him. It was nice to make such an interesting friend her in the city. Someone she could get along with so easily. A grin as he squeezed her arm back. "Still seems odd , the feeding part. I mean how does that even really work. It seem....awkward to say the least." Another soft laugh as he apologized. "Why apologies, it's how you feel never apologize for that."

"Really now? I'll keep that in mind." He continued to discuss the nature of vampires with Ona, speaking as though he were a small child, with a bit of enthusiasm, as though he had found out of them a moment ago.

"They're really nice, and I'd like to meet more. Maybe they'll be nice and I can feed them. I'm sure that they'd be happy, and I would be too. No need for assault or battery, let alone force. Just a nick of the blade and a little cup."

Eldecrok blushed as he said this, it was a first after all. No one else would know of these feelings, since no one else was around after all.

She would listen and nod as he talks to her about Vampires. Listening to every word.

"The ones you have meet might be nice but you should still be very care not all of them are nice."

A small shiver at the thought of bleeding into a cup and she makes a slight face them laughs and pokes him gently.

"have you feed someone before?"
