[Alexandrea]

How nice, Alexandrea thought to herself as she pulled away from the curb. A half-smoked, home-rolled cigarette sat in the ashtray with a lighter close by. She took both and used the one to light the other, then gave another wicked chuckle as the delicious skunk smell wafted into the air, "Naughty, naughty, neighbors!"

With a wide grin, Alex peeled out into the street with tires squealing from over-accelerating, the "cigarette" held happily between her lips. "Someone's trying to follow us, you say Alston? Well I say good ******* luck with that! Woo HOO! Fasten your seat belts, boys and girls… it's gonna be a bumpy ride!" Hitting the horn after nearly sideswiping a few parked cars, the car fishtailed as Alexandrea tore onto the main road but she never noticed… she was too busy laughing.

The turnoff to get to the bar was just ahead but she was too busy changing the channel on the radio, and it was behind her before she realized it. No matter. She drove off the highway and onto the ramp she had passed by without even a pause and hit the gas as the light turned red. "Bye-bye Baby! Hello 70 points!" Alex sang out while running down some guy that looked liked he might be a lawyer.

"Frankenstein scores! Frankenstein scores at last! But what kind of a score, boys and girls? Just 80 points out a possible big 700. What do you think, Gracie?" Alexandrea just laughed again and then gave a thoughtful pause; "Who the hell is Gracie?"

"All right, all right, and yes-sirree! A clean hit! A perfect hit! And no pain for the target. Too bad the guy was only thirty-eight; just two years older, he'd have been worth three times the points. Bah... oh well, better luck next time, folks!"

Civilization fell back and away from her as she drove into the outskirts of town and away from the city. A sudden sputtering of the engine made her worry but she managed to keep the vehicle on the road, noticing for the first time that it was on empty as the engine sputtered to a stop. "BAH."

[Mordechai]

Mordechai watched as Alexander took off in the car, swinging in behind her on his bike, normally following a car on a bike was child's play, but the blonde behind the wheel drove like it was her first time. His preternatural hearing easily picked up her cackling and laughter through the open window, and a puzzled look came to his face. Something was wrong, definitely wrong. When the car struck a pedestrian, then instead of stopping roared off as though the hounds of hell were behind it, the tall killer became concerned, rolling on the throttle to keep pace with them. Reaching out with his mind, he found a cell tower, and processed a call to 'Digos company. 'Digo had mentioned it to him once, and this seemed a prime use. As the call connected to 'Black Box' he explained that a human pedestrian had been hit and killed by vampire in a stolen car. He continued on that he was in pursuit and would take care of the vampire in question, but that a 'Clean up in Aisle 5' was needed just outside of Willow Court, and he would call in with the location of the car, as soon as it was detained.

That detail taken care of he concentrated solely on catching the stolen car. Reaching out with mind he gave a gently push ''Alex, its Mordie, you need to pull over''. Almost instantly the car began to slow. they were outside the city now and traffic was light, as he rolled closer he realized that it seemed as thought the car had run out of gas, and an irate Alexandria was still behind the wheel. A quick glance around, then he texted the location to 'Black Box', then pulled up beside the car, leaning forward on the handlebars to peer inside. He noticed a strange pyre in the car with her, but they smelt of her blood, must be a childer. ''Is everything ok Alex?'' ha asked cautiously, as he mind spoke to kennedy that there was something wrong with Alex, and he would be detained a little longer.

The smell hit him like a train. "Oh god! Dont smoke that!" Rolling down the window he stuck his head out slightly to avoid the smoke. Things took a weird twist as his sire smoked, letting out a horrified yell he watched as a civilian was hit. "SIRE!" He yelled looking back to see who ever it was, they weren't moving. Trying to take control of the car they swerved and ran a red light, panicking the bike stayed with them the entire time.

Grabbing her smoke he threw it out the window and heard the car run out of gas, thank god he thought. Without missing a beat he got out and started to pace, the man on the bike pulled up next to them hearing him call his sire name he knew the vampire must of been a friend. At least he hoped he was. Moving around the car he fought everything within him not to yell at her. "She is high." Not looking at either of them he felt his anger rise within his body. "I need to go for a walk, ill be near by." Turning he moved away from them as he thought about the poor human that lost their life. Sitting down he closed his eyes and hummed a soft melody.

[Alexandrea]

It wasn't until Alex went to take another hit she realized that the joint was somehow mysteriously gone. She hadn't even noticed when Alston had taken it away from her anymore than she had noticed anyone's voice in her head. The blonde blinked in confusion when Mordechai spoke to her and looked up even as her childe was getting out of the car. "Okay, Alston. Be careful...." Alex said automatically as she attempted to get out of the car herself and stumbled against the door. "When did you get here, Mordi? And where the hell are we? What happened?"

There was an uneasy feeling growing in the Allurist's gut as she tried to remember what had happened but her head still felt like it was stuffed with cotton and very once and awhile she would give a very odd sounding giggle.

"I don't think that was what I thought it was...." Alexandrea whimpered a bit, her thoughts a jumble as she swayed back and forth. She hadn't felt this out of sorts since Serenity had held her drugged in the Lunar Lake Estate basement. The blonde made her way around the front of the car, holding on to it with one hand as if it might fly away if she let go of it, until she got to the damaged front end covered in blood.

"What have I done????"

She crumbled under a sudden wave of nauseating guilt. She knew what she had done. She wished she didn't. Raw sobbing as the blonde sank to the ground was the only sound Alexandrea could make.

[Mordechai]

The killer sat quietly on his bike as he watched the occupants spill from the car. The scent of cannabis, laced with some other chemical, drifted to his sensitive nostrils. Slowly shaking his head, Mordechai fired off a text to the "Black Box" operator, with the location of the vehicle, and a quick update of all that was needed, as he silently watched his blonde friend stagger out, and around the car. He didn't know the male fledgling with her, but by the scent it was a childer. He watched as realization set in and the horror and quilt overcame her. There was nothing he could do. The death of the human hadnt moved him at all other than to plan for how to successfully cover it up... and that was now in 'Digo's hands, well, in his companies hands. The male had seemed sad, and gone off to sit by himself. A strange reponse, it was almost as if the human death had bothered him. Shaking his head as he cleared his thoughts, he turned his concentration back to Alexandrea, there were over seven billion humans, in the scheme of things, one less human was a bonus. Mordechai had enough experience with allurists tho, to know to keep that simple fact to himself. "Alexandrea", the killer growled out as his black eyes stared out of his Frankenstein make-up, "We have to get you out of here. I have made arrangements for the car, but you have got to go. Get on the back." Mordechai patted the seat behind him. "We need to get you in front of witnesses. For an alibi. If that one cant get to the bar on his own, we can summon him. You have to go now though.'' The killer watched as the blonde sat there on the ground in from of the car, wondering if he was going to have to hide his bike, and forcefully take the small blonde out of there for her own good. "Alex, come on" It seemed halloween was taking a different turn this year, he thought to himself.

He didn't hear what they were saying. Zoned out he didn't know what to think of this night. It was supposed to be a glorious, frightful fun time but it turned deadly, what bothered him the most was how he felt. Shouldn't his human side had gone away by now? Slowly getting up he brushed himself off and looked at both of them. Hearing the male tell his sire to go he walked over and gently picked her up. Turning her body he gently nudged her towards the man. "Ill meet up with both of you. Sire, go with this man." He gave a stern nod and put her on the back of the man's bike. "Please be careful." He whispered to both of them.

[Alexandrea]

She heard Mordi and she shut up. She sucked in some air and did as she was told, letting her childe give her a hand to her feet and on to Mordechai's bike. She had experience with being on one before and out of habit felt around and found a helmet. It crossed her mind she was in trouble again and had better tell Odin but she hadn't heard from him in awhile now. And Mordechai had said he had made arrangements and was willing to help her. Maybe she wouldn't need to bother Odin just this once?

Alexandrea bit her lip and said nothing, just waited to do what she was told for once. If it turned out she was still in trouble, well... it wouldn't just disappear and she would tell Odin then. But for now she would trust that her friend Mordi had things under control and just see what happened next. *You be careful too, Alston.* The blonde whispered softly into his mind.

She wanted to say she was sorry but just didn't know how...

[Mordechai]

Mordechai watched as the male seem to awaken and take charge of his sire. This was good it showed potential of actually being able to survive in this city. Mordechai sat quietly listening to the fledgling give directions to Alexandrea, before he nodded to the male, "Headed to the 'Handlebar' should be safe there, join us. The car and cadaver will be taken care of. worry not about them. Just get away, and don't get caught". In his mirror he saw that Alex had found kennedy's helmet, and with very little fumbling had it on and strapped. "Hold on" the killer sent into her mind as he planted one huge New Rock and leaning the bike over blipped the throttle. His muscular leg anchored the bike so that it spun on a dime, facing back into the city he straightened it up and leaning forward, twisted the throttle until the rumble became a roar as he brought it up to an almost legal 115 kilometers per hour. They needed distance and witnesses, as soon as possible. The killer thought over what had happened before he finally started a mind to mind conversation with the distraught allurist riding on the back. "Alex. I have Black box coming to clean this mess, but what happened? I have never seen you act this way. You were very lucky I was the only one that saw you hit the human. There are plenty more where he came from, but they tend to get defensive over things like this." Mordechai shook his head slowly as the enter the outskirts of town, and he slowed to the limit as he wove thru traffic headed for Swansdale. Mordechai fired off a quick mental message to his mate, "kennedy, Alex is in a jam, trying to get her out. Will let you know more soon as i do" His attention once more on the road, he soon pulled up before the Handlebar, and slid the Judge in between the other bikes already parked outside. Dropping the kickstand he swung off and offered a hand to the blonde on the rear, "Inside, now Alex, then answers."

As they left he quickly remembered where Handle Bar was, using his Celerity he was there way before them. Walking in he quickly calmed his nerves and went straight to the bar. Ordering a Ale he pricked his finger and watched as the drops of blood drip into the glass. Moving around he held onto his beer and waited for his Sire and her friend.

After a little while he felt her presence and stood near the door waiting for her to walk in. It bothered him how she was acting, yes she was high but he thought there was something more to this. Humming he set his beer down and abandoned it. He wasn't in the mood to drink.

[Alexandrea]

It wasn't a bar that Alexandrea had ever been to before (hey shut up, there are still one or two) or at least, it wasn't one she recognized. She followed the tall Killer inside spotting Alston was already there. She watched as he sat down a drink and wondered if he was just playing at acting human or if he had forgotten that he couldn't eat or drink anything but set the thought aside for the moment. She sent him a soft hello just giving him a small smile while she kept going behind Mordechai, wondering what she was going to say to him when his questions started.

She couldn't tell him why, she didn't know. She had thought she was just smoking some pot and would feel a little bit of something for just a few minutes. But whatever else had been in the joint had been a lot stronger than anything the Allurist had tried since her forced confinement a year and a half ago. Alex pushed the unhappy experience out of her mind and sat down as soon as they came to a place where she saw a vacant chair.
