I don't know what to tell you. It's not like I was doing anything or was trying to do something. It's not like whatever it is that is going on with what you said was something planned out. I can't control it. I don't even know what or how I'm doing something, if I did do something. I'm not that mind of guy. Hell, I'm not that kind of Allurist. I hate dicks like that.

Anyways, take all the time you need. I'll be here no matter how the tide turns.

Anyways, got a date tonight. Should be interesting. The guy ain't all that bad, in a creepy, "I want to kill you all the time," but smart *** kind of way. I can appreciate that he's got a sense of humor. At least I'm finding him funny as hell. People need to sire more people who don't have constant sticks up their asses. Like this guy.

My date didn't go so bad. I mean, I was hit on a lot, more than I hit on him, but I think I made him work for it a little bit.

After my date I was invited back to his place and a third wheel joined us. Not that I mind the third wheel, I could think of a lot worse third wheels and she can have some enjoyable moments here and there, I think, but our date was cut short. Maybe next time I should hit on him a lot more and harder.

I didn't stay too long, and wasn't going to sleep over because, well, I'm not that kind of guy and the idea of possibly waking up on a ritual alter doesn't do much for one's back. But, at least I managed to score a second date, but it sounds like it'll be a threesome. I've never had one of those before, but I'm up for trying almost anything once.

Heading to Cali for a few nights. Got some things to do. I'll be gone by the time you might swing this way, and sorry for that, but with canceling last time and they meeting this weekend, I thought it a good time to go. I suspect we'll have things to talk about when I get back, and we will.

Hope you get some good ideas down for this upcomming meeting. I know it means a lot to you.

There are some things people should never do. I'm never suggesting playing a game with Legion again. Even in joking. Remind Hannah to take those clothes and burn them. I never want to see them again. I wonder if it hurts to shower in acid. Tempting.

But the Chinese restaurant was decent and Legion's a real classy guy. Holds open doors and everything. I bet he'd look good in a fedora. Classy guys wear fedoras. So, I'm going to get him one. Legion, will look bad ***. And we will be two bad *** guys in fedora's who don't ever play games.

I'm used to choppy waters, it's sort of my song and dance. So you do what you can and try to ride it out. Bunker down, ride out the waves and sort merge or adapt with the waves. You don't try and tackle it, because you'll end up capsizing. You play it smart.

But maybe some waves just can't be rode out. You can try and test it out, but know when it's time to be smart and turn around. Maybe it's that time. When you feel it in your stomach, you've got to listen to it, you've got to acknowledge it. It was one hell of a ride.

Been a while since I wrote in you.

Where to begin?

Ex-wife number one has calmed down and gone back to Cali. I only have to see her a few days out of a month and that's for board meetings. I can deal with a couple of hours, just to keep her out of my hair, here.

Been trying to help River start a new life. Since she can't remember anything, seems like a good idea. To start fresh and to start new. I think that jackass of a husband ditched her when she died. Not my business really, but it's not like she wasn't coming back. Vampires die all the time and come back. I'm glad she doesn't remember her life with him. It's be pretty nonexistent.

Melody got bound to an old friend of mine from my Hollywood days. Told her getting bound was a mistake, as I'm the walking poster boy for binding mistakes, but maybe it'll be different for her. I hope so.

Tytonidae tried to kill me a while back, for inspiring someone. I managed to walk away. Those guys are dicks. I'm glad someone else is finally seeing how not good they are and how they skim right under that visible list of the all seeing Crow and all that jazz. I can't wait until Fifth proves what a farce that **** is. I wonder what the city will do when they realize people have been killing their people for no reason, other than some sick, fucked up game by the fae.

This will be my last entry. Voyages always come to an end, and with that a new one begins. As does a new journal.
