Strange Things

I've been in the city for a short while, and other than the fact that there are not many (any) grocery stores, it is a decent enough place.

I visited a cafe and heard rumors of strange things, and this place is busier at night than New York City, but that's fine with me.

I scoffed at warnings of supernatural happenings, but recently on more than one occassion I've lost consciousness and woke up somewhere totally different than where I was. This is very disturbing and maybe I'll poke around and see if I can find some answers.

The other day I saw something I am still having trouble believing. I was hanging around outside by some shops, minding my own business when some woman walked up to another person just a few yards away and attacked him. Now, I can understand the attack thing, this town looks like an easy one to get mugged in, but she bit his neck and then started to drink his blood. At least it looked like that. He didn't seem to resist too much and I wondered if it was some kinky exhibitionist thing. I watched for a moment longer in case the guy needed help, but like I said, he didn't seem to mind all that much, though he did look kind of out of it. After she pulled her mouth from his neck, she started licking it. Time for me to be out of there. They should get a room.

I've heard the mumblings of an old man in a cafe and the rumors of others around here and I'm wondering if there is any truth to it all. The movie "The Lost Boys" comes to mind.

Anyway, this little situation just adds to some of the strange things I've seen around here.
