Journal of an Anarchist

People seem to have an issue seeing the truth about government. My parents brought me up on anarchy, so I was fortunate to have a head-start. But even with that in mind, is it really that hard to see what's wrong with government? Every time people try it something awful ends up happening, and the bigger and stronger it is, the more risk of something awful happening because of it increasing. The only time anyone was able to commit genocide was because of government. The only time an entire race in a country was able to be controlled and enslaved was because the government would send people out to catch and punish them if they escaped.

I think people are afraid of anarchy because they aren't familiar with not having 'big brother' always looming over watching to keep them in line. They don't know what it would be like without them. Personally, I don't care if you follow a leader or not. Yes, I am aware of what anarchy means as a word. I am not saying you can't follow someone, I'm just saying that should people really be forced to follow the rules of a government that they had nothing to do with?

I think people associate anarchy with chaos. I disagree completely. But even if that were the chaos, which is worse, chaos, or mass murder Because both can occur in government, but it's a whole lot harder to get the second one without it.

It frustrates me that no one can seem to see this. I'd love to fix it myself, but what am I supposed to do? I can't waltz around killing elected officials, that wouldn't do any good and I'd just end up getting shot myself before I even got that far. Not that I'm even keen on trying if I could.

I just don't know what to do.

Not something that Im sure belongs here, but I started a garden. Think I just like seeing them grow. Helps me avoid thinking about how bad things are for everyone right now. Not that it lasts much longer. But it's good to have something else to do. There've been some unexpected interactions recently. Pretty sure I ran into a vampire, lost an exchange spot because of that. Haven't checked back to see if he took the guns or not. Not sure if I should or if I should see if someone else should. Either way, we can't use that one anymore after this in case he decides to go back and check.

He was a rather odd individual. I'm not sure he was really acting with full purpose or just kind of on instinct? I don't know. Hard to say. The dude was breathing smoke and had a gun aimed at me so I wasn't fully attentive on all the psychology of the situation. I'm admittedly curious what would happen if I met him again though.

I'm also hoping that I can find a way to get weapons, I'm looking at figuring out how to make my own swords. Though, I just got given loads of stuff from some woman. I'll keep some, may try and sell the others. I could definitely use some extra cash. Not like I can use all of the ones I have anyway. That was also kind of unexpected, but hey, not gonna complain.

Not really sure if there's anything else to add right now. Just gonna end it here.

Wow, vampires powers really are incredible. I don't exactly get many chances of strong vampires, so this is probably the strongest I've fed from. Lots of powers that I have no idea how to properly use to be honest. But they sure are impressive, something that seems to weaken undead, walking on water, raising zombies...well that one is kind of creepy. Though, to be honest, it's not the only one that's a bit freaky. But, hey, it's not every day I have access to better blood. I won't complain.

I can't help but wish it'd fix my eye, it would make me more inclined to get used to fire arms. But, then again, that'd probably take a lot of work. I'm just so used to fighting at close range that I don't know what it'd be like to focus primarily on distance.

Not much else to add really. I fought some creatures in the mausoleum recently though, way easier than expected. Not that it's something I necessarily want to make a habit of. But it's still something that is good practice that seems safe.
