Noah was growing desperate. Not that his new companion would be able to tell it. With each shot that was fired, the pauses between pulls of the trigger grew shorter, but his expression remained smooth. There was no time to acknowledge the fear rising in his gut, only time to keep firing.

He heard the voice call out to them, but he barely acknowledged it. Noah was a blur of reflexes, counting each bullet fired in his head and tacking a new clip just as the last shot in the magazine fired.

Fire. Drop the clip. Reload. Fire.

It was muscle memory more than conscious action at this point, a sea of corpses falling beneath his frantic fire. And just as the newcomer asked how their ammo supplies were doing...

His gun dry fired. He reached for a new clip, but found none.

"****," he cursed, watching the stream of zombies begin to try to claw their way up to the shelves. "I'M OUT!" He called out. But that wasn't going to stop the man.

His muscles ached from the constant, unyielding tension carried mostly in his arms and shoulders. But from that pit in his stomach, he drew on another reserve of stamina, his second wind coming in an explosive series of actions.

Noah dropped from the shelf, dropping the gun in favor of grasping the spear he had kept at his side. With a loud cry, he dropped onto the pile of bodies beneath him and began swinging the spear. Though he lacked any formal training with the weapon, he knew the basics: stick them with the pointy end.

They did the mash... they did the monster mash...

Continuing to swing furiously and taking no prisoners as he did so he heard a voice, sounded like a female voice, reply about the ammo situation, the ambient noise was so loud he could scarcely make out what the answer had been. Around this moment he heard a loud curse and looked around in time to see the male drop from the shelf as he began swinging what looked like a Theodisian...
He glanced upwards to the figure still atop the shelving, She was looking decidely uneasy and the rotboxes were still incoming and making a beeline for the part of the store these two were in. "If you have a blade... now would be a good time to wield it!" As soon as the words left his lips he realised it probably sounded a little rude but now was hardly the time to be worrying about manners, once they were free of the horde he would most likely apologise.
The male, although thrashing about wildly, was holding his own amongst the onslaught of rotting undead and with Lions heading in their direction they'd pincered the majority of the remaining foul smelling creatures. R.A.G.E was awash with the congealed blood and gore of the foe and Steel found himself mentally thanking both his beloved 'Rina and Tytonidae for the rigorous training and skill set he'd aquired whilst training with them, truth be known, -that- AND the massive rush he was experiencing, were what was keeping him going!
Thoughts crossed his mind, why were the zombies so apparently obsessed with this pair? More than used to visiting the QZ he was sure he'd never seen either of them before and yet the horde were single minded in their determination to reach them... There would be many questions to ask later... if they came out of this unscathed.
Lions lifted the gun again and a volley of shots took out the next few of the pack before he heaved the sword up again into a massive scything arc...

Noah seemed calm. Still, the onwards movement of the creature were getting more and more scary. Individuals, zombies were only scary because they were corpses. But much like ants when there was enough to cover every inch of you in a mound they went from concerning or irritating to utterly horrifying.

The man jumped down using the spear instead as they got to close, and she hesitated as the shelves shifted slightly from the movement and she heard advice from the newcomer. She took in a shaking breath, pulling out her short sword and putting away her pistol.

Pierce, slash, kick, pierce. In spite of her clear fear, she was dispatching zombies faster with the bladed weapon than she was with a gun. She didn't have the awareness to realize this. Her body was moving mostly on reflex, reflex created by the side she still had no clue existed. Enhanced by powers she had no control over at present. She could not see the gifts the other two possessed either.
