His snorts were cute but this wasn't the time to tell him, hell...he was simply cute but she wasn't going to tell him; at least today. That would be knowledge that she would hold on to for when the timing was a little more perfect. These soldiers were rude robots of the city. He was healed and now she had a bullet in her shoulder. She needed to boost herself but right now she needed to focus on the soldiers instead of the hunger that was welling up inside. The blood on her clothes didn't bother her and since it was his blood, would it be weird that it was more of a souvenir? Thinking on it for a split second, yeah that was weird. Lennox made a note to soak her t-shirt when she got home.
He was honest about his career and it was good. She hated liars and the fact that he told her the truth, those were brownie points. She would admit that she didn't know anything about hacking and he said that he might have been traced. It was probably a high possibility that there were programs that could track people who were doing bad things. He had asked if she was okay and were she was, the bullet burned and was slightly distracting. Nodding her head in response as she let a quick "Yeah" leave her lips. It was when Hudson asked what she had done, she smiled. "I learned that I can replenish people's blood. Seemed useful right now." He liked being Deadpool...that would be his new name at least between them.
The soldiers continued to move on them and yes she was a killer, it was easy for her but now they were more than outnumbered and she was starting to feel overwhelmed. He was a good shot and was able to compensate for the shot that was missed as she dodged the bullets. That was a relief. Closing her eyes, she took a moment to gather herself. Feeling the relaxation move over her. It was only a split second of peace but it was what she needed as she bounced her head up over the table and took a few shots. One she got in the shoulder of a soldier but it was his dominant arm, this was a great progression as he dropped his gun. The next shot was to the heart. As a shot was returned by another soldier that landed in the same shoulder. The pain shot down her spine as she ducked back down behind the table. These guys were a pain in the ***.
Trying to breath through the pain before she went back to taking these guys down. It was his statement that brought her back and distracted her from the insanity. God he was perfect! He liked bubble baths and didn't think that she was insane for saying it to the soldiers hoping that they would be naive enough to go home. "I think you're right but I hope they have good life insurance because some of these kids will have nice trust funds after this." Taking a few other shots at the group. It really seemed never ending. The head shot made her happy and she took the opportunity of one guy being down to stand up. Gun a blazing as she tried to take as many out as possible. Two more down before a bullet found a way into her heart. She gasped as she dropped down to the group. "**** that hurt."
If they didn't know she was a vampire before, they knew now. They had to die. Hudson started to talk, wanting to know more about the bubble bath. Leaning her back against the bar, hoping that the table in front of her would block the incoming bullets. Bubble bath...yes...she could focus on that for a minute. He knew how to distract her and he was running with her idea. "Well it would be nice and steamy with candles. The lights would be dim of course because you can't enjoy a proper bubble bath in full lighting. Can always have a nice glass of something. Up to you."
Smiling back at him before he ducked back down behind the bar. Rage built up in her tiny body. It sounded like he was up for the idea and she was prepared to end this. Kamikaze time. Pushing back the pain that she felt, she come up over the table with shots being fired. She rushed at the group. "Just die...I have a date." When she was in close point blank range, she holstered her gun and whipped her dagger out of her boot. Grabbing a guy, she turned him to face his buddies as she again wasn't beyond using a soldier as a body shield. Slicing the throat of one guy but with her distraction to take down a guy, she didn't see that when they flanked, one guy got behind her as managed to restrain her. "Let me go you ***!"

Re: Iced Happenings [MM]
She was funny and witty and beautiful, three check marks on his imaginary list, but they were still screwed, and he couldn't help the crushing guilt. It was his fault they were holed up in that abandoned bar, with nothing to look forward to but more gunfire and blood. He could have succumbed to his feelings, but he knew that they both needed to focus, especially when one of his shots ricocheted off of a soldier's armor and embedded itself in the far wall. Hudson ducked down behind the bar again and brushed some of the glass out of his hair, accidentally cutting his right hand in the process. He raised his head again, took aim, and shot a man in the leg, taking him down, but another soldier drew the man out of the line of fire. Hudson couldn't get a clean shot, but most of the shots weren't clean. Some had bulletproof vests, but most didn't, as if they had been called in a hurry. Hudson looked over at Lennox, checking to see if she was alright, just as he needed to reload. He hadn't had a full box of ammunition, so the fight needed to end, and soon.
He'd heard her curse before, but he hadn't seen why. He thought the worst, of course, because something going right in their situation was apparently impossible. But her idea of a bath was nice, and it brought a smile to his lips, because it did sound nice. And if they made it out of the bar intact, then he toyed with the idea of asking her on a date. She wouldn't have been there, if it weren't for him. Making it out of there was priority. He watched in horror as she decided to leave her cover to fight the soldiers, in what appeared to be a last-ditch effort to rid them of enemies. Even though it was crazy and reckless, he decided to sneak his way around the bar and run between cover. He wasn't a kamikaze type of guy, despite the fact that he could be extremely aggressive with his approach. He was a mixture, and it worked just as well.
When she went in, he began to bombard their minds with words and images, trying to draw them away from the fight at hand. But in the end, his approach wasn't an attack. He'd mistakenly thought that he could be a bit of a peacemaker, or at least one who advocates for peace. Seeing her boxed in, one man approaching her back, Hudson decided to focus on reflexes and leave his cover behind. He kicked the overturned table and it slid across the floor, wooden legs scraping against the wood floors, taking out two of the men, one that he'd hit before and one attempting to flank Lennox. He was a goddamn hero, a chant that he tried to make true. But he was too late, and the soldier had her. He had no clear shot, not with the way the soldier hid behind her, bobbing and weaving to keep head shots impossible. When it looked like the guy was going to retreat and use her as a shield, he shot the remaining man in the knee cap, then fired two shots into the man's chest. He honestly didn't know what to do, so he took the only shot he had. He shot the guy in the right foot.
"And you thought you were such a badass, soldier man," Hudson chuckled. He went to fire another round, but his handgun was empty and his bullets had scattered behind the bar. She had her blade, or so he thought. Hudson threw his gun at one of the men struggling to stand and it cracked his skull, knocking the guy clean out.

Re: Iced Happenings [MM]
She struggled against the guard that held her. Using her strength, she leaned back against the man that refused to let her go and kicked at the guy in front of her knocking him down. It was when a few more soldiers dropped that she looked back behind her and smirked as she caught sight of Hudson closing in. Thank God! There was hope and the numbers were dwindling. Closing her eyes, she took in a deep breath and let it out slowly as she focused her energy into her hands. The guards had unarmed her but she had a trick up her sleeve. Her nails became vicious razor claws but Hudson had beat her to harming her attacker by shooting him in the knee cap and then two in the chest. God he was a ******* hero.
Stepping back from the pile around her and smirked as he spoke to the soldier on the floor. What she didn't expect was him throwing his gun at the guys head and cracking him in the skull to knock him out. She laughed out loud as she didn't think it work but it did. Looking around it seemed like they were in the clear but she couldn't help but kick the closest guy before turning to him. "Well that was fun...ish but let's not do that again anytime soon." She smirked and gave him a playful wink before she took a seat to check the bullet wound at her heart. It was going to take a few days to heal but she would remember to trance later to heal it faster.
Lennox let go of her shirt and leaned back in the chair to take a break, praying there wasn't another group that was ready to charge in. Her eyes drifted up to him as she took the time to check him out since the chaos seemed to cease for the moment. Maybe it was the blood loss or the fact she couldn't keep her thoughts to herself but she couldn't stop the words that now slipped from her lips. "You're cute...should we get out of here before more reinforcements arrive? I'm low on ammo and with that gun toss...so are you. What do you say, Deadpool?"
Slowly she got up from the chair that she had occupied for a few seconds. She didn't want him to know that she hurt but that bubble bath was looking pretty good right now even if she went home alone. Relaxation was good for healing. Taking a couple steps towards him to close the distance, her eyes danced with wonder. What was he thinking? Though her thoughts were that she could just kiss him for being brave and taking the chance to come out of cover and in doing so, saved her. He was amazing and she was glad to meet someone so cool. Placing her hand on his shoulder as she smirked.
