I must have missed that, which one and when was that? Who all did she fight?

And yesh, I have to agree.

Alex eats the team raids for breakfast when I'm bored. The loot isn't really worth it and the exp really isn't either for the output, you can get better returns for your investment elsewhere.

But I get sick of seeing them just sitting there after awhile... >.< plus I do enjoy them. And once you are at the top sitting at the secure wing and doing the B&E mini-game over and over again is a great way to grind without having to move anywhere.

But only the guys can say if that kind of code could/would work if they agreed with the idea that is.

Having caught up I'm still a bit confused. What kind of code? Is the suggestion to make some team raids for newbies only? Maybe I'm not understanding right.

Alright, so, with the activity in the game increasing, perhaps its a good time to revisit this? I've been noticing the same groups of characters continue to win Team Raids over and over, and over again without giving others a chance. People in the past have gotten upset even if they weren't interested in it, saying that it was unfair to people who might be enticed to try.

It takes, for anyone above the level of 60, less than five hours to win a standard team raid.

So, in reality, given the amount of unique players we have in the game, and the fact everyone I know has at least one, if not more alts, a cap shouldn't be a problem again. If anything, it might start some fun.

However, as I've noticed Ally mentioned above people are worried about a raid sitting for too long, why not make them expire and have someone trigger another later on?

That's how it reads to me? But, a lot of the newer characters wouldn't have strength to beat it. With that in mind, maybe to entice new players and older players to work together, some sort of boost could potentially come into play? It could actually encourage new factions and bonds to form.

That being said, a fledgling type raid with the same skills but at a lesser strength would still be pretty neat to see. It would make them comfortable in the ideas of potentially form factions, if there was a separate raid available.

The discord has a lot of people chattering and they're all happy to lend a hand - so I can always make a spot for team raid discussions/offers there.

I'm a bit confused as to why anyone would be upset?
The only other person to have made an attempt at team raids in months (or longer?) was CharlotteC and my team stepped back to let hers have it when we saw them there, because we had won so many.
And then she joined our team. (Which often has changed members, many times to include new players so they could learn the ropes.)

No one has been stopped or discouraged from creating their own teams and my team has always been willing to step back and not bogart the raids.

I never said anyone was upset now, I said they have been in the past, nor did I specifically point out names, because it isn't a massive deal - I didn't feel the need to point fingers as if I were saying, "Well, they're being assholes and not letting us win!" I wanted to restart this conversation before it became an issue due to the fact it is just that, a conversation.

You aren't the only ones that have been doing the raids, you're merely the first ones there.

And again, that's fine. Don't care.

If there's a limit, even an increased limit, it wouldn't be an issue in the future either.

Some of these raids haven't even lasted twenty four hours, none of them have lasted forty eight. While that's not actively discouraging any of them, if you can't get in and kill the boss within an hour, maybe two, before someone familiar with the raids it's going to at least make them question if they should do them again. It isn't only recent, either. It's been happening for a while now, but with the activity picking up, and Charlie mentioning it on the help/advice thread I figured it'd be good to bring it back up.

A few newbs have asked about them, and I know some of the returning players would be if it were mentioned to them.

I'd be more than happy to either A.) invite new team members and/or B.) skip some raids. All anyone needs to do is ask. <3

I didn't take it that way, I'm not being defensive I'm being sincere. I haven't seen any other teams in a team raid in idk how long. If I had known others wanted in, I'd have included them or stepped back from some of the raids. Before now, no one ever said a word about it.

I propose that the cap on winning be reinstated.

I suggest the cap to be every other raid.

This way, whether raids spawn twice or four times a month, there will always be a chance at winning the active raid if you didn't win the previous one. This levels the playing field by putting a constraint on everyone's gameplay that is based on wins not on participation.

Everyone gets a chance to join any team raid with whatever character they want, but only those who actually win the active raid will lose the right to win the next raid. This way everyone can participate, whether they have won previously or not with that character: they can still get a run through / experience / participation points, but it isn't the same characters winning over and over.

I've fixed this bug now. However, it won't stop players from using thralls to win another team raid. That's a bigger fix, so it'll have to stay like that for the foreseeable future.

I decided not to go with the other suggestions, as this is just simpler. One win per character per month.
