Antonio seemed contemplative as she spoke and she really wondered what he thought but Lizzie didn't lie to herself...those thoughts would come by the end of this meeting. Pursing her lips together as she though on him stating that even if he was the kind of person to come up with such a trap, he didn't have the capability. That was a slight joke to her as he clearly was unaware of his abilities and those in town that would probably help him out should he change his views on Vampire Advocacy. Shaking her head as she spoke with a soft chuckle in her tone. "I do believe that you under estimate yourself, Mr. Segreti. There is enough people in this town that would instantly back you should you decide that we are vermin and need to be taken out. Buildings would be donated to keep us held, paladins would take the opportunity to get their hands dirty, and any human that felt slighted by my kind would be ready with pitch forks. Why do you think we have had to remain hidden? It would be worse than the Witch Trials. Though I do appreciate your reassurance to you have no intention to currently harm me."

Letting her foot bounce with the leg that was crossed over the top of the other, she was unaware of any requirements that forced upon the vampires but knowing people of her community, the idea of required ID's was near laughable because no one would be in favor of that and probably wouldn't get the ID's any way. This would be something that she would speak to the Raven haired lady about or one of her other acquaintances in town. Lizzie for one wouldn't accept the idea of the ID's even though she is for the idea of being able to coexist with humans because she always worried about the backlash that her daughter might get and she was only a little girl. Shrugging her shoulders as he mentioned they would be here for awhile. "Honestly, I have nothing but time. I have already stepped up security at home to protect my daughter the moment you realized that I was a vampire. Those at home will be fine and I will touch base with them later. As for Lux, she is our higher power in the church that I run, formally with my ex-husband but he is gone now, called Solace. Another group of vampires in town have another being that they worship but I will keep that name to myself as I do not know much about their church. I, however, do have book that I carry with me at all times about Solace should anyone have questions. It is where the food pantry and the orphanage runs out of should there be inquiries. Lux is Light and she is beautiful." Reaching into one of the pockets of her jacket, she pulled out the Holy Book. It was fairly compact for easy carrying so that one wouldn't have to carry a large purse or bag to keep the word with them. Tilting her head to the side. "What do you mean by come back from the dead? That question needs a little clarity because this could mean your turning which honestly, I do not remember as that was nine years ago and a lot has happened." Chuckling lightly as she nodded her head. "Honestly, I am not surprised that I am not the only one that you have been in contact with. There are many of us around and honestly humans were oblivious to us so we were able to move about among them without having to worry until some rogue blew it for us and then we would take all precautions to correct the situation and humans would forget that it happened. We would be safe again. We have a nightmarish history already and from the way that you are talking...we are heading that direction again and I am not sure if we could handle another holocaust."

Frowning as he pointed out his jealousies for the Paladins. She wondered what his seeming obsession with the Fae were but that would be another question for another time. Maybe a Paladin would answer his question if he caught them on a good temperament day. Lizzie was prepared to take each question as he presented them as he had a point...she put him on the spot but he wasn't prepared for her to be a vampire and be willing to answer questions he might have. She would definitely be patient with the poor guy. Perking her brow, she was baffled at the contradiction that just fell from his lips. "What do you mean that someone has to uphold the law but that the law should not always be upheld. Those are two very different directions." Inferior. She hated that term because why couldn't people just be equal. Vampires might not been human any longer but they were still people with feelings and families. Laws on siring. Wow...knowledge of vampires were out for the public it seems but not the full extent of it.

"I am not sure what advantages humans have other than being able to eat regular food which a small amount of vampire race can as well but also to walk during the day to which you also learned that some of us can do. There are positives to having vampires around but if the human world is going to tie vampires to leashes, they really should know more about our race because there are already such rules in place on siring and that comes from our elders. In fact our world is full of rules that we have to abide by or the offender would quickly be dealt with. We took care of our own and there were even groups that did nothing but take care of offenders. Three groups to be exact but one was more successful than others." Groaning at the thought of a life sentence. Would it be a permanent death? That made her think back to the stories the elders would talk about when they were stuck in the Shadow Realm. That was terrifying because she wouldn't want to miss out anymore of the life she had felt behind for a few years. Shaking her head at his question if was right to hold someone that long if it was in prison. That was inhumane but it also would have to depend on the crime just like with humans. "I do not believe that there is a psychology change as I for one have not experienced it. I am the same as I was as a human. Though how would you suggest studying vampires? The culture is out there but it just depends on who is willing to talk about it and what information that someone is looking for because some of it we keep secret for good reasons." This was a bit difficult to think about but if he truly wanted to help then she was willing to help him but it all depended on the risks of helping him. "I really do not know if you will find a doctor or a psychologist but that would be interesting and tests...the risks are great for my race and the outcome of learning such results. This is starting to sound like a science experiment but if it helps protect both sides...maybe. I am open minded and have thought for years that humans and vampires can work together but I will not blow up my life and the life of others. So I am willing to stay as long as possible to figure this out but know this...if I feel that this will affect my daughter or those that I care about, I am walking away. My kind will deal with me if they feel that I have been deemed an offender but I want harmony. It is why I do all that I can to help the human race with Solace." Lizzie waited for his thoughts but she was afraid that by morning, she would be in a cell and she would be sending a message to Molly to get Chelsea out of the country.

He furrowed his brow in thought as she said he underestimated himself, but then began to understand as she explained the process behind that. The way in which vampires were treated, he could easily get people behind him. And, while that hadn't been something he'd considered at this time, could have essentially prepared a trap with the aid of others. He strobed his cheek with his tongue, "Yes...well, that's a valid point I suppose. I didn't exactly consider that I suppose. Then again, I'm not the one who's experienced this type of situation for long." he admitted.

Things seemed to be going very well in terms of the discussion, though overall harper rock seemed to only be descending. She mentioned stepping up security even as they were talking, which prompted him to assume she must be a telepath of some kind too. And answering his question about vampire religion. He looked at the book with interest, wondering if he could keep it, for research purposes of course. He held little devotion to individual religions. He'd just never stuck to them, there was always so many to choose from, how could he? That didn't mean he wasn't curious about what she was telling him, just that it was treated in a similar way to many other religions. Truly fascinating, but whether it was based in truth or reason or not was another matter. Segreti wasn't really an athiest, he believed in a higher power of some kind. Whether anybody got it right who or what or how many there was, that was what he wasn't sure about. "I don't suppose you'd mind if I...looked at one of those some time?" he inquired unsure if this was just a vampire or believer thing, or if he was allowed to read it without being expected to believe it.

She also asked about coming back from the dead, and the clarity of it. He breathed in thoughtfully, "As in...coming back from the shadow realm, if that's something that's happened for you." he tried to clarify, he didn't really know what else to say about that.

He nodded thoughtfully as she spoke about a rogue blowing everything for them. The precautions taken, the efforts made, and yet now it had all been almost for naught. Or, perhaps it wasn't. Maybe things could have been worse, or happened earlier. He nodded more solemnly as she said they might be headed towards another holocaust, "In all honesty, we may be. I'm hoping that won't be the case, that's why I'm doing what I am. But that doesn't mean I'll succeed. If I don't, I'll probably suffer for my efforts."

He pursed his lips as she asked about his comment on the law, he leaned back in his chair, "I think we both agree laws are important. You talked about vampires enforcing rules on each other. Well, some are very important. Generally speaking, don't kill, at least not unless in self defense, don't steal, those are probably the two most well known ones. Extenuating circumstances sometimes alter things a little bit to ethicists. But, at the same time, sometimes there are additional laws which shouldn't be, pretty much everyone nowadays would consider the laws of keeping slaves in check to be morally wrong. Individual or groups of laws that shouldn't be upheld, but during the same time, murder was still generally considered a crime, which is a law that should be upheld. Both needing to uphold one law while not another can exist simultaneously without actually contradicting each other."

She also spoke on his question about not thinking humans really had too many advantages. And about vampires even already having rules on siring, which was interesting. "As far as human advantages go. Here's the ones I think I know about, vampires can't rely on any kind of substitutes as far as I know. Meaning there can be no such thing as a vegetarian vampire. There has to be an animal for any kind of reasonable survival, humans can technically live off things not made from meat, but it's difficult. The Fae don't seem to have quite the same inclination to harm humans as vampires, I have heard they hate the fae and the forests are dangerous, but for me I can actaully regain anima in the forests meaning it's almost a safe haven for me. And most of the other difficulties seem to be either manageable through some power, or a matter of personal issue. Immortality itself sometimes being deemed a curse." He then moved on to the matter of siring and rules, "I'd be curious to learn more about these groups, and the rules that vampires have to follow amongst each other. I think that'd be a rather enlightening amount of information."

She told him there wasn't a change inpsychology she personally experienced. But that his matter of studying vampires could prove difficult, which was certainly true. Not only due to that getting the psychologists and doctors would be hard, but because the tests would further risk the race. His hopes for that quickly began to decrease as he realized, without either doing this entirely in secret, making it probably scientifically invalid to most communities, but also that it wouldn't be useful until humanity and vampires could finally come to peace with each other. She said she was willing to stay, so long as it didn't start to affect those important to her. And that even her own might deal with her otherwise. He frowned and looked down, "Yeah, maybe that was a bit of a stretch at the moment. I can't think of a good way to do this without taking too many risks. And without any kind of degree myself, I definitely wouldn't be considered a proper researcher if I did it on my own even if there was enough people cooperating. It may be necessary to try and achieve peace before any kind of advancements in that area can be made."

He shook his head rubbing his eyes and groaning, "Man this is rough. You know I kind of underestimated the responses people would have to me. Oh well, I've chosen my path, not going to turn back now"

Nodding her head as he realized that he would indeed be able to concoct such a trap but most people don't always know what they are capable of until there is another perspective. Giving him a soft smile, hoping to lessen the tension slightly. "Different perspectives are always helpful. Especially on such a serious matter." Lizzie was enjoying the conversation that she was having with Antonio as it had been a long time since she had conversations that weren't purely business. Something intimate and close to home or the matters she really cared about were stimulating.

He had a healthy thirst for knowledge and it was actually important to know what he needed to know in this town especially since the knowledge of vampires was out in the open. Not sure why people didn't know about the rules they already had in place but she was willing to cover it all. She was currently safe to talk about it. It wasn't like the other vampires in the city knew that she was back yet so they would have no reason to check in on her to see if she was talking about things that she shouldn't. Though not that she was a stranger to death, so why not kick up old habits of having Tytonidae track her down. Or at least she assumed that they were still active, Lizzie hadn't heard otherwise just yet.

As he inquired about the Holy Book that she had pulled out of her jacket for him, a piercing smile swept across her face. "Absolutely, that copy is yours. I keep a copy or two on me at all times should anyone inquire about the church. I have met Lux when I go to the Vathiá. She is kind and beautiful." Lizzie believed that she had met the higher power of Solace as she ran to the Vathiá often when she felt that she needed a break. It was a telepath's paradise.

As he explained what he meant by death, she nodded in understanding. "Ah, I see...Yes well I have died more times than I can count. Each type of vampire is a little different. Some come back in another body, some leave their bodies behind, naked...Unless a body is left behind, we all come back to the Land of Living at the same place. I do not feel different per-say but because I am a telepath, it does effect me mentally for a little bit but I return to normal after a while. The Realm of Shadows can be haunting and come are affected more than others for various reasons."

Dread filled her as he spoke on the matter that they might actually be heading towards another holocaust. That was not something that she had hoped to see ever. The Elders were always so strict with the rules to prevent this from happening. Letting out a unneeded sigh as she thought on this a moment before she shook her head. "If there is another vampire holocaust, we do not have the one vampire that freed everyone the last time. Cobb betrayed his kind but freed them later and here we are but..." A deep seeded frown rested upon her lips as she closed her eyes and rubbed her temple. "I do not want to think about that...we need to fix this, if it is even fixable."

As Lizzie paused in thought, he explained what he meant about the law. Yes it was a contradiction but it was one that she now understood and he was right. There were some laws that shouldn't be supported and upheld. Requiring to feed from blood packs wasn't unreasonable and hell, she survived off them so she knew that others could too. That could be a compromise worth putting out there because depending on the animal, they would run out of a food source quickly. Opening her eyes to look at him with a slight nod of her head. "Blood packs are an easy solution for feeding. There are several that do that now. Animals would not sustain because they would not be able to breed them fast enough if we are to feed only off of animals however, we do not need much to survive. I am sorry but murder is always frowned upon no matter what race you are. Though you do make a valid point."

Lizzie stood up straighter in her chair to maintain proper posture, she tapped her fingers on the arm of the chair. After a few moments of silence, thinking over her opinions of the Fae and her experiences. "The Fae definitely favor the humans. I send my best friend out to the forest to gather herbs when they are needed. Especially when I needed to gather for ritual items. Molly is happy to help out. I have endured many head wounds and at one time due to the Fae. I tend to go for walks when I get stuck in my head for various reasons and get stuck. Family have had to come and get me to make sure I get home safely. I have a tendency to have a child like mind if I receive enough head wounds." Shaking her head as he mentioned immortality sometimes deemed as a curse. "It is only a curse if you make it one. Depends on how you live your life. You can make it the best or worst for yourself but I will say that I have made some questionable choices but I would not be the person I am today if I had not made them. Including my former spouses. Maybe I would have been a rogue vampire but I am glad that I am not considered that, I just get stares from my kind because I feel that our races can work together amicably."

Chuckling inwardly, she gave a soft shrug. "There are so many rules that I would not know where to begin. One major one outside of keep our existence a secret is that you cannot force someone to sire to you. You cannot sire children....ever! As for the groups, the Elders had a group where each family house had at least two members as representatives. Offenders would be hunted down and killed for breaking the rules. Other groups branched off from there and only one has been a long successful group to hunt down offenders and sometimes collect bounties that would be placed upon our heads."

Lizzie was surprised that she was about to say what she was about to say but if it meant to move forward, create progress, and have hope for the future of her kind. Biting her lower lip as she proceeded carefully. "Umm...you know, I cannot believe that I am about to say this but if helps progress." She paused for a moment and pinched the bridge of her nose before sighing lightly. "I can arrange for Molly to get my daughter, Chelsea, out of the country to protect her from any backlash that might come from this but if you need someone to research on..." Her eyes were soft yet almost desperate and pleading as she looked at him. She paused for another moment before she continued. "This has to be in secret at least at first. An NDA must be signed, all precautions must be taken, and none of this affects my immediate family. Should this backfire, you must promise to care for Chelsea and Molly. I have no one else in my life and they mean everything to me."

Tilting her head as he mentioned how people respond to him. "What responses and underestimate them how?"

Segreti bobbed his head to one side and then the other on the comment on multiple perspectives being useful always. He wasn't going to focus on that at the moment, but he didn't fully agree. He'd argue there were times were some perspectives just weren't of any use. Not because multiple reasoning wasn't useful, but because sometimes people with little reasoning at all could be convincing to those who didn't look deeper.

He smiled appreciatively as she let him keep the book, giving it a quick look-over before shutting it, and pocketing it into his jacket. He'd find somewhere good to put it later, "Thank you, I think this could be good to look into." he said truthfully. Even if he had no intention of joining, that didn't mean nothing could be learned from this. "And, what about Vathia, what is that?" he inquired further as she brought it up.

Her answer on death was interesting. That different vampires died different ways, he'd heard of the Shadow Realm before, and what it as like there. But the process of return was new. He had to raise his eyebrow at them coming back naked, well, he supposed death didn't really care if you were clothed or not. When it returned you to life, and vampire bodies did seem to vanish when they were killed. Except, apparently, some. It was also important to note that they came back at the same place, which immediately brought him concern. That meant, a place where vampires returned from, could be quarantined. There was a visible sign of that realization when she said that, before she moved on. Also mentioned she was a telepath, and that the Realm of Shadows had more issues for her than perhaps some. "Oh, so like the one that warned me? Can you read thoughts or just send them? That certainly sounds incredibly useful." he paused and narrowed his eyes, "But probably would be made illegal to read minds or memories, unless it was court ordered or something. So I suppose that would probably be different."

She saw too how dangerous a vampire holocaust was, and brought up someone by the name of "Cobb" giving a short summary of sorts about him. Betrayal and then freedom, it seemed whatever history there was with him was troublesome. He sounded like he must have been powerful. She agreed it needed to be fixed, if possible. he nodded assuredly, "If possible. There are factors here I just don't know if I can effect."

She seemed to have some comments on blood packs, things vampires could eat. And the act of murder. He nodded thoughtfully, "Perhaps, larger creatures then. Humans give blood willingly, and safely before. But it's limited in quantity. If, however, something like a cow, or another large animal, could have that done, then maybe it would be possible o do it without killing the animals. Much in the way sheep are sheared for wool. They still live healthy. Though, they'd need much better treatment then what they get as it is, at least in a lot of big company farms. Then have that blood bagged, if that's a possibility."

She straightened in her chair, and took a moment before answering his comments on fae. Clearly it was enough of a problem that she'd send someone human out there, enough of a difference that humans were in relative safety, but vampires probably should avoid it. It also meant living outside of a society was probably very dangerous for them. She also brought up how head wounds impacted her, which caused him to **** his head slightly. A strange scenario, but then again, perhaps it was due to vampire physiology. It was not unheard of that head wounds changed personality traits and memory obviously, so perhaps the immortality of a vampire allowed her to continue and heal, but still resulted in a temporary injury causing such a state. She also mentioned immortality and its cursing, he ran his tongue through his mouth, "I'd have to say it depends on the person. Depression doesn't really care whether or not you make it a curse or not. Nor does abuse. I'd say it all depends on environment and issues a person is dealing with."

Rules about siring children, elders, representatives, killing for rule-breaking. Multiple groups involved. It was a harsh rule system, but perhaps it was necessary when they wouldn't be able to keep any kind of functioning prison nor permanent deaths. Perhaps though, a more humane method could be brought about. Should the world ever accept vampires.

He watched as the wheels began to turn after speaking about the problems of study. And raised his eyebrows as she began speaking about getting Molly and Chelsea out of the country. And offering herself to do research. She looked desperate. Then again, so were the times. Signing an NDA, and using every precaution, and that, if it didn't work. he take care of the two important to her. He furrowed his brow in thought. Naturally, there was his strong ever-present urge to learn. To push beyond boundaries to get there. But there was also a tense feeling of what would happen if he was to mess up her life, to ruin her chances in some way. He had gained some influences in unsavory places, very very secretive influence, but that wasn't something that would let him flaunt any kind of power. He couldn't change the tides of the law. "Well...if that turns out to be something that seems safe, and like we can truly learn from it. I promise to do that, that I'll sign the NDA, and should it come to it, I'll be sure both Chelsea and Molly are able to be well off and protected to the best of my ability."

"Ah, in regards to the level of reaction. Obviously if I'd have known in the very first attempt at public discussion, that paladins would attack. I'd have had much better security. Or that people would attempt to call me a thrall, or a vampire myself. Which is a little hard to disprove, even if I think there should be no need to. Along with just the general number of people who would be so unsure about my motivations and whether or not I'm a threat to humans."

Re: New Adventures (Segreti)

Their conversation had gotten deeper and deeper by the minute and yet, Lizzie was still staying to answer his questions. Questions that could get her into trouble should anyone know what she was doing but she was looking at the bigger picture and how she looked at it, she didn't have anyone to live for other than her daughter but her daughter would be well cared for by her thrall, Molly who was listed as her second mother on the adoption form. Chelsea would be okay. As for the vampire community, there was no one as she was divorced and she had walked away from her sire for many reasons but the tip of the iceberg was getting into a romantic relationship with her ex-husband. After what she thought her life fell apart, she threw herself into work, Solace, working on humans and vampires being able to coexist, and raising her daughter. To say that she wasn't a woman that was focused with determination would be a lie by someone that didn't know a thing about her. Never did she do anything half-assed and here was a human who shared nearly the same vision as herself. If she needed to put herself in danger to make things better for her race, she would because she was tired of her race having to hide in fear that if one wrong move was made, they would all fall. This was the time to take a proper stand and if a human was going to go to bat for the vampires, he should have backup and proper knowledge of what he is supporting.

Lizzie did smile briefly as Antonio thanked her for the book and that it would be good to look into. She didn't expect him to join the church but like she told him before, knowledge was power and she is providing what she can at the moment without having to use powers. "You are quite welcome. As for the Vathiá, this is a little tougher to explain, however, it is another spiritual realm, much like the Realm of Shadows and the mortal afterlife. The difference is that it is a mindscape or maybe a better description...collective unconscious. This is a reality that has been comprised of pure thought but as technology has advanced, this has affected the realm as a telepath can connect to technology with technokensis. It has an infinite expanse and with this, retaining faint echoes of thoughts and dead memories." Pausing she tilted her head. Her explanation seemed a bit complex and she needed to try and make it easier to understand for someone that doesn't have the ability to experience it. Well she could help him experience it but that would have to come with permission and maybe a later date. This evening was already intense, Lizzie didn't want to break him. After a moment, she nodded her head as she came up with a better explanation. "Think of it like a hive mind. There is a collective that can affect and manipulate the mindscape. Now there is an interesting addition to it is that only a pure telepath can visit the Vathiá but non-telepaths can visit by way of a telepath pulling them in but only with the other parties permission and by way of a willing telepath. That is at least a cliff-notes version. It is a rather complexed realm and even a telepath does not know the full extent of it."

Lizzie was aware that she just dumped a lot of information on him and she would be willing to answer any questions that he might have at least to the best of her ability. She had only been a vampire for nine years so she was far from being a master. Never would she claim to be a master either. She was good with her path and was getting better each day but still needed to work at her path just like everyone else. She looked at it like those that are black belts in martial arts, they still have to practice their craft or they wouldn't be good at what they do any longer. As he mentioned mind reading and that he was warned, she nodded her head with a smirk. "Yes, like the one that warned you. Anyone that has telepath powers can read minds but it has to be significant. For example, a recent conversation or a memory that is fresh on ones mind. We can not see normal conversations, what you ate yesterday, or what clothes you decided to wear. A normal person has a hard time remembering things of that nature on a regular basis, hell I did not when I was human and I still do not. Those are things that insignificant to daily life. Also I do not see how they can enforce someone from reading minds, it is not like a person would know that it was happening."

Antonio mentioned factors that he wasn't sure that he could effect when it came to making changes to hopefully stop a possible vampire holocaust. These were factors that she wanted to know in case there was anything that she could do help. "What factors? What can I do to help?"

Lizzie let his comments on the blood packs seep in to her mind, processing every angles of it. Large animals might work, it wouldn't be hard to set up farms for processing and keep the animals alive. It would take time to get it all worked out and a nice quantity procured before implementing it into the community. Nodding her head slowly. "That actually could work. It will take time and it will be trying to get the community on board but I highly doubt that there is a taste difference but I could be wrong. Though I do feel that this might be a good option to try and would need to be a large farm if not a few. I am fully on board with this."

A nervous chuckle escaped her as he brought up depression and abuse. He was more correct than she even imagined as those were factors that she hadn't taken into consideration. She had experienced depression but mainly as a vampire. Life wasn't perfect and so one would possibly consider this life as a curse. "You are absolutely right. Not everyone can run from their problems or their demons. Honestly they should not run but I am kind of a pro at it. It is why I was gone for so long."

The conversation was getting deep and she was starting to feel anxious even though she kept her composure. She couldn't sit still and stood up and began to pace a little. It gave her a chance to look at all that he has collected since arriving in Harper Rock. Pausing at the mantle, she turned to look at him. "I do appreciate that you will sign the NDA but it would need to be everyone that comes on board. This is rather sensitive. I can also come with you when you have public hearings or events much like the one you spoke on where the Paladins showed up. I have many passive powers that can protect. It could buy you time to get people to safety should there be a repeat." A light nod was given as he said that he would take care of Molly and Chelsea. "Thank you, I greatly appreciate it. Security would be wise but against the paladins, I am not sure how much a human task force such as the police could do against them to protect those in attendance. Supernatural powers have a better chance in protecting but it all depends on the situation. It will be a case by case situation." Thinking for just a moment, she tilted her head to the side. "Maybe thrall or vampire but there is the thought of a tragic Romeo and Juliet scenario where a human partnered or even loved a vampire. Might give more of a reason to prove to humanity why it is important to get along, protect, and be able to coexist with one another but then again, that might just be a dream of an unreality option."

He furrowed his brow as she explained Vathia. Explaining its similarities, but also that it was limited to telepaths. Some kind of mental place, rather than a more physical one. Comparing it to a hive mind, that was almost a scary thought. That there was this thing in which so many minds existed, or could exist, and that some could manipulate it. And that it was incredibly complex, but someone could be brought in, with their permission, by a telepath, "Is that safe?" he asked curiously. In truth, he definitely wanted to go, he wanted to know what it was like, naturally. How could he not?

She answered on about telepaths specifically. They could get recent memories, and important moments. So, really, active things. Things that were still quite relevant. He'd have to keep that in mind for the future. She mentioned the problem of enforcing it and he grunted, "Fair enough. Though I wouldn't be surprised if someone figures it out eventually. Then again the same could really be said in regards to some hackers, since they can manipulate so many pieces, even if they do get found out, it might not even be their real IP address. Doesn't cease it from being legal."

She also mentioned the factors, he shrugged, "Like fear and anger. I can only influence those, if they choose to let it happen. But more importantly, the paladins. Or those...demi-fae. I haven't managed to learn nearly as much about them because they're even more secretive than the vampires are. But I know some of them live in the caverns, these things called Encantado's and Jorogomo's. And I've heard of some others, though I'd have to check my notes on them. I couldn't tell you much about them, Jorogomo's actually seem to fit somewhat to their historical description. Giant spider people essentially, which means they probably...just turn human in appearence and walk around us. With just about zero issues getting recognized. Encantado...little more uncertain on those to be honest."

He smiled as she said the farms could work, "Well that's definitely good, though, I honestly have no clue how to start a farm myself. So...that could be a little troublesome. I know nothing about agriculture, just business."

She agreed on the matter of mental issues and similar problems. Though, apparently herself had managed to run from some of her own problems. He couldn't fault her for doing that though. Especially with a life that was expected to go on forever.

As far as the NDA went, there was of course the matter everyone involved must sign it, which he nodded about again. She then mentioned that she could come to public things, and use abilities that could protect. He furrowed his brow, "You're sure you'd be safe doing that? I'm not saying no, that'd definitely be helpful, but it seems awfully dangerous if you're hoping to keep your powers hidden."

She mentioned human task forces not necessarily being good against the paladins. But that perhaps it was a dependent thing. "Hard to say for sure, that's true. And I personally don't yet have the ability to handle all that many myself."

She mentioned the Romeo Juliet scenario, which made him chuckle a little, looking down in thought about it though, "Well, is it really that unrealistic? In fact I wouldn't be surprised if it's already happened in the past, maybe multiple times. It's occurred with pretty much anything else." he held out his hands leaving that open, "But, unfortunately, things like that can always be turned on their heads. Mainly meaning, someone is going to claim that one of them is doing some kind of manipulation to get there."

Antonio asked if it was safe. It depended but from what she noticed it was relatively safe but each visit was different from the time before due to the realm constantly changing. Nodding at his question. "For the most part yes. There is the possibility that something could go wrong but that is a gamble we take in life on a daily basis."

Lizzie shrugged lightly as he said that he wouldn't be surprised if someone figured it out. Maybe they would but nothing they could do about it, it wasn't like they could turn off someone's brain or take their abilities from them. If they could, it would be news to her but many of her fellow telepaths had technokinesis, there was most likely away to counter anything the humans would think of. Perking a brow at him as he mentioned hackers and smirked. "True but in regards to your example of hackers...would a telepath show up on an IP address if they were using their mind to be able to hack? This was a question that I have always wondered."

She continued to pace about the room as she thought over his statements. Bobbing her head from side to side as she considered each one. The beasts in the caverns were considered part of the demi-fae, that was interesting and yet they didn't seem to hurt nearly as much as the fae in the forest. They had to be at the bottom of the totem pole but if that was the case, she was grateful for dispatching them from this world when she took time out of work to train. Though it was interesting to learn that the spider ones can shape-shift. She entertained the idea of shape-shifting into her cheetah form and taking on a few spider people. "Fear and anger is perfectly natural. Hell vampires feel it too which is why we have been as secretive as we have been. I still wish to know what I missed while I was out of the country because for the fact that humans know about us and it's not in a necessarily friendly manner...someone messed up. Though I wonder if there is a way that we can learn more about the beasts in the caverns. Someone should know something...right?!"

Stopping in mid-pace as he liked that she agreed to her idea. Farms was honestly a great idea and it was good that he thought of it. Smiling gently as looked at him. "Could always enlist farmers for the idea. They are already doing it for a living and this would be a way that they could make more money to live off of as well as provide for an entire community to protect each side. Humans would not have to worry about getting attack for feedings and vampires still get the sustenance that they need. I kind of see that as a win win. It again would be getting everyone on board for it."

Placing a foot in front of the other as she continued to move about the room, he touched on her safety if she was to attend events with him. A light chuckle escaped her as she tried not to shrug so it didn't seem dismissive. "Honestly, Paladins already have my name as a vampire. Most of my powers you cannot see unless I want them too, such as turning into a cheetah. I am not afraid either given I have worked hard on my abilities as well as learning others outside of my natural path. Nearly all of my powers are passive or defensive but they are useful such as healing and being able to summon an ally. The only really power that one might think isn't passive would be creating an earthquake but you have already experienced that and seen how helpful that it could be. If anything was to get too hairy, I have a shield that I can use quickly for protection but it only provides for a short amount of time. It would give me a chance to teleport out and to summon you to safety should you want me to. Or I think I could summon a human...I should test that." That wasn't something that she had really thought to test before. Molly was always really good at getting out of sticky situations before she could summon her. It made her think and made a mental note to try that out at a later time.

Nodding her head as he seemed unsure that he could handle the Paladins. "Then a task force would be a good opportunity to have extra help should things get out of hand.

Thinking a moment as he questioned her Romeo and Juliet scenario. He might have a point but she couldn't say for sure. "Okay so it very well might be a possibility but not one that I have heard of in my entire existence as a vampire. Especially not a human and vampire duo trying to take on the world for advocacy and trying to prevent an entire race from going extinct...again. Though as for manipulation...that is a claim that always happens even if it is not the case. I cannot tell you how many times people thought I was being manipulated when I started this path for coexistence because of who I was doing it with and yet I was not being manipulated. People will have their opinions and we just have to work around them. I am not saying that this is going to be an easy road to take but should it work, it will be beneficial."

"Fair enough."He responded nodding at the comment on it being a daily risk anyway for them. Suppose there was really only so much a person could do to be safe. And it wasn't like he had a record for safety himself. He took a lot of long term precautions that much was true, but the same could not be said about individual moments. The amount of times he'd put himself in danger trying to talk with vampires or demi-fae was considerable.

He put a hand over his mouth as she mentioned if Telepaths would have an IP address. "I never thought of that. Oh my, that'd be truly an interesting thing to discover. You know I actually don't know how IP addresses work? Maybe it would show up as 'unkown' or not at all. Or maybe there really is some natural IP address that people just have. Or perhaps, since the brain changes, their IP address' changes as well. Oh that opens up a whole new avenue as well. Can a telepath be counter hacked? That's a terrifying prospect." He shook his head in wonderment at the concept of this. It really had turned into a type of thought on technokinesis more than telepathy, but regardless, it was all fascinating.

Her pacing didn't bother him, he'd had his own turn of that and it was bound he would end up doing it later. Whether during this conversation, or afterwards. It was just the natural movement of thinking. He held out his hands uncertain on the matter of discovering more on the creatures in the caves, "If they do, I've had trouble finding them." he furrowed his brow and glanced to the side, "Maybe....maybe I can put out an ad? Offer like...let's say, ten thousand, for one of them to come and sit with me and talk privately about their species. They're not as tracked as vampires are. Do you think they'd take it?"

He rubbed his hands together with uncertainty, "But...if they're less sane. Or...one of them is just incredible aggressive. Do you think they could be trapped? I've never heard of them being able to teleport or anything, but I have no idea if you could even trap something like that. That'd only work if they were legitimately aggressive though. That, and the fact that if they weren't, I wouldn't want to trap them."

She offered enlisting farmers. He nodded along as she explained the process of that, "That's a good idea. How well would cows actually survive up here though? It is pretty frigid. Perhaps a more...climate ready animal. I wonder if there are any laws in regards to breeding moose for purposes like that. If cows do survive though, it'd definitely be less work."

Seemed she'd already been discovered by the paladins, who must not have released it, which left everyone else. His eyes seemed to light up as she mentioned she could turn into a cheetah and a smile grew on his face. Her continued explanation of powers only made that grow, "Can you...show me? Turning into a cheetah that is, that sounds awesome. I wish I could do that. Oh and the shield could absolutely be useful. And maybe we could test that...summoning thing. See if it works or not before it might actually be needed, which it hopefully won't, but better to be prepared." There was little that Segreti loved more than learning about the supernatural. He'd used powers before, he'd seen powers before. This was not new. But the specifics of powers was always the good part. And shapeshifting, well that was outright fantastic.

She liked the idea of a task force it seemed, "Yes, trouble is figuring out what to legally arm them with. It's not like I want to pay for outright military service." he groaned thoughtfully, "I wonder what the laws on body guards and security are, and what they're allowed to carry around here. I do hire security, naturally, but never went full elite."

She had never heard of a 'Romeo and Juliet' scenario before apparently. Let alone in this context. She did agree manipulation would be something people would claim, but that it would happen anyway. And that it had happened to her just not about a human. He nodded again in agreement, "Yes, well, I suppose there's only so much that can be done about peoples opinions." He sighed pushing himself off the seat and just outright jumping over the back towards the kitchen then stopped, "Oh...I suppose you don't really get anything out of eating or drinking do you? I was going to offer but uh...guess it might be kind of pointless huh."

Lizzie was calculating ways that she could make sure that he was safe during these events that he was having. To her it was important and she was willing to do what she could to help even if it meant being killed but that wasn't new to her so bring it on. It was rare for her to be so bold but she had a had a few years to get her head on straight and think for herself. She could say over and over that she wasn't manipulated but she was loyal by fault and that caused her to not think what would be better for her, now was not the case. She had the opportunity to actually make a difference other than helping those that were less fortunate, which she loved, don't get her wrong about that but that was caring for the human race. Never did she think that she would actually have to opportunity to make strides to better the relationships between the humans and the vampires but here was this man sitting across the room who presented such an opportunity. Lizzie would protect him and those that came to hear him talk. These were thoughts that she played with as they spoke.

Smirking as he contemplating over her comments about hacking. She didn't give it away that she was a hacker herself, it was a fun hobby just to see if she would ever get caught but she wasn't entirely sure why other than she could connect to any computer. She could ignore the tracers and still not have cops show up outside her door. It was a perk. "Well I do know that it has been difficult for telepaths to get caught because we do not have to use a computer but the particulars behind it, I am not entirely sure. Though I do not think that telepaths could be counter hacked. At least not that I have heard of or experienced. If a trace could happen, might be to a random computer that one connects to then maybe the computer itself could be counter hacked but that is an interesting thought."

Tapping her fingers on the mantle as she thought over his idea to put out an add to see if any of the creatures would come forward and talk with him. It was a good way that he could get information to learn more about them. Thinking for a moment, she shook her head. "If they are anything like vampires and keeping their world, identities, lives, powers, etc secretive then ten thousand is a rather low number. You can give it a shot but I am not sure if it will work. If you want to give it a try and it does not work then I can help boost the amount." Shaking her head on if they could be trapped. "That could be a gamble because we do not know anything about them. Also think of it like this....would you want to be trapped by someone that is not your race? There are better ways to learn about them then trapping them. If they come to a meeting with you, then they are willing. If they seem aggressive or can get aggressive then I can be near by to help or maybe you can possibly look into what powers that you may have untouched and see if there are powers that you might possess to protect yourself.

He had a valid point on the cattle farms. There were states in the United States that had cattle farms in colder states but that was different from Canada were it was much colder. Lizzie wasn't sure what farm animal might work in the colder weather as she hadn't personally visited a farm to see how it works and what could survive. "It would be something to look into. Get a perspective from the farmers."

A beaming smile slipped across her lips as she nodded her head. Turning into a cheetah was one of her favorite powers to use. "Absolutely, however, there is a caveat...I would either need to do it here or at one of my places because once I shift, I will be in that form for a while and cheetahs are something that is natural around here so I could not just go home until I shift back. I am also willing to test the summoning with you as you are right and that is something we should know before trying it and you are stuck dealing with an issue that you need to escape from."

Sighing softly as she tilted her head to the side before shaking it lightly. "I did not mean military services, that would be a bit much and might make those of my kind that might attend a little uncomfortable especially all that I have learned so far this evening. Hiring a security detail would be best and I would not use one of those rent-a-cop security agencies because have you seen anyone fear a security guard at a mall? No, they need to be a detail that can carry guns and handcuffs but they do need to be vetted so that everyone no matter their race is safe. I am willing to put myself out there to help both sides but I will not stand by as there is prejudice against my kind because some *** with a gun thinks that he can be an opportunist to take out a few of us. Please understand this..."

Smiling lightly as she nodded. "I would never force anyone to change their opinions but I am not opposed to putting the information out there so that they have a calculated decision instead of a biased, uninformed views that were placed on them by the government. Politics is a dangerous game that influences many people." Her eyes went wide as he jumped up suddenly and jumped over the back of the chair. Cocking her head to the side before she laughed lightly. "If I was an Allurist, I would say yes, I could eat and drink but I do not wish to be violently ill this evening. Though if you do not mind, I will take a hot tea with a little cream and sugar. I love the warmth and the smell."

Didn't need to use a computer, that certainly made things very interesting. It also made him curious, how basic was their ability to use the internet. Or could they basically do anything. Did some of them play internet games when they got bored? Was there any lag between searching for information and getting it, or was it instantaneous? And then the comments on counter hacking and connecting to a computer to do it. So maybe they functioned like a device that could just latch onto another devices signal and power to run. Kind of like they were using them like a server, or a router.

He made a humming noise as she mentioned ten thousand being a low number, "Yeah probably." he muttered, How much would they need? Could I even pay enough? Reasonably speaking. He thought to himself. She mentioned the trapping thing too, yes that was probably not the best course of action. Though he wasn't sure if she understood the types of people he meant to trap. Didn't matter, couldn't do much about it. It was too much of a risk. He'd have to consider that later.

She wasn't the first to bring up that he should see what other powers he could learn, he nodded in agreement, "Yes I've been meaning to do that. I have a few. But compared to those of paladins or vampires they're considerably less tuned towards combat. At least...most of them are. There are a few that I can use in a fight, or in preparation for it. I'll see what else I can learn." he said.

Farmers, yes, they would know better. "I'll see who I can get into contact with. And if any of them would even be willing to set up around here." that could prove difficult. But he'd give it a shot. Might as well right. Maybe, even if he didn't own the company that would do it, he could make a deal with them? A sort of joint operation maybe.

He continued to smile but nodded softly as she said she'd be willing to change, but that there was the problem of that it was a long lasting thing. So she couldn't just jump back and forth at will. Interesting. And the fact, having shapeshifted, she'd be blatantly obvious due to the actual native species. And also that she could test the summoning as well. "Lovely, truly lovely! Well, I suppose you wouldn't want to do it here then, I will eventually have to head to my businesses to help ensure they're doing well. Nobody tends to come around my place really, but I imagine you'd find it rather boring depending on how long that lasts. Don't know how to test the summoning, I didn't know that was a thing. I knew about teleportation being a thing, just not...pulling someone from somewhere else."

He chuckled as she mentioned military services, "No, no, but I do wonder what the law permits them to carry. Given there are people running around with powers, gangland slums, zombies, all sorts of things, you'd think it'd be easy to get ahold of a weapon. The problem is, if it's actually allowed, I don't quite remember what the rules are here. As far as prejudice of them though, I'd be watching them closely. If that started becoming a problem, I'd drop them at a moments notice. Given it'd probably be in the contract their could also be other costs to if they did that."

Couldn't change opinions. But just give the information. Well that was how it really should be done. Most of the time, at least. He frowned for a moment as she mentioned she couldn't eat. But that she could still take a tea, just for the feeling and smell. He nodded, "I'll see what teas I have then." he said with a smile moving over to the cabinets and setting a kettle with water started on the stove, "There always seems to be something more to learn. Never will learn everything I imagine, but then again, that's the fun part isn't it. Always getting to learn more and more." He chuckled a little, "I wonder, how long I'll live. I'm not old or anything. But, even if I don't end up getting killed by someone."

He glanced over his shoulder setting two teacups down with tea bags in them and waiting for the kettle to sing, "How long can a sorcerer really live? I guess once I do go, I'll find something new to learn. Or, maybe, I'll just be gone. Who knows."
