Varja looked to the ground for a moment. It was a possibility that everyone else was dead. But she didn't like to think about it. Not only because that would mean she was in a dangerous situation herself. Mostly, it concerned her because she couldn't help but think about the lives lost, with all it included.

“No worries.” she said, looking at Mason again. “It's true that this is a possibility. Similarly, it is entirely possible that we will walk into a dangerous situation when trying to find out what happened. However, I still want to find out.” Thinking about the other people in the building would not help her at this moment. Once finding someone, she would know. But assumptions right now would not change a thing about anything.

“And yes, I think a breaker board is the same thing. I meant the place where the main power for the building is split up and distributed to the different building parts.” She furrowed her brow, thinking aloud: “Normally we would not be allowed to go there. But if we get there, we will find out more either way. Either we are stopped by someone, then that person can explain some things to us, or we aren't stopped and can check it out on our own.”

Mason smiled again apologetically even though Varja said it wasn't a problem. And also admitted it was a possibility, and that trying to search it out might prove to discover danger. But that she'd still do it anyway. Mason nodded in agreement, "Yeah I'm a bit...curious about it."

Seemed she also thought breaker board was probably the same thing. Her description certainly sounded right. Not that Mason could be sure, she'd never really gotten into that kind of study. After she further mentioned that, regardless of if they normally would be allowed there, them going to find it would discover something either way.

She shrugged, "Good with me. Got any idea where that'll be then? Or should we just...try and find all the places to back rooms and see if one of those takes us there."

Indeed, this was the main question now. Where to find the distribution board. So far Varja had only ever seen one in real, the rest had all been pictures or sketches. “I'm not really sure. I think it would most likely be in the basement, if there is one. It could be anywhere though.” Realising that she barely knew anything about the topic, she made a mental note to look it up later once she was back home.

“I suppose we're off to search for back rooms, maintenance only doors or something similar then.” She had no other ideas, so this was as good a decision as any. However, she hadn't been looking for such places earlier, meaning she might have walked past them and not remember that now. Going only by her knowledge, they would have to search randomly throughout the building. “Do you remember seeing any earlier?”

Mason groaned slightly, thinking as Varja mentioned she didn't really know where it was either. This was going to be just a bit lengthy if they were just roaming around in the dark wasn't it. The former paladin gave a nod as it was brought up checking the back rooms, "Suppose there's not really too many other options to go through huh."

"Well...let's see here." Mason said thoughtfully about it, trying to consider where it is one such door might be. "There's usually one near the front right? Or at least, an entrance. I'm sure if we can find the edge walls at least we could find one regardless of where it is."
