Mason's head shot up as she heard him cry out in pain and then seemed to orient himself. He went to see how she was doing. Not hurt? Well, she was, she had that cut in her stomach but it was fairly minor in comparison. She wasn't really thinking about that though. He said she didn't get him hurt because he came of his own accord.

But she shook her head. Could she have hidden what she did? Yes. Would she? She would not. How would she let herself do that. To stoop the the level of deception over her own actions. Willing or not, she did it. She looked at him in pain, not physical, though it was there, but emotional,"You don't understand. I bit you...I fed on you. Just moments ago." she explained looking into his eyes, "It just....it smelled so good and I needed blood...and....I couldn't help myself...I'm sorry."

She looked at her hands as if there was something there to change, "Vampire" she spat out the word in disgust, referring to herself. This was what that was. This was why they were a disease. If even she couldn't stop herself from that, how could vampirism itself be trusted.

Ismael just looked at her as she was in pain, he looks at her stomach as he says, "Hey what's wrong?". As she begins to talk about her biting him. Wait She fed on him?! Ismael immediately thought that can't be right, he doesn't feel the pain and doesn't remember her even doing it. But her voice and words seem to tell him she speaks the truth even if he can't believe it.

Ismael doesn't know what is going on in her head but he feels compelled to help her through this, it has to be hard for someone to go through this, especially when she obviously hates it to even hate her very being. Ismael says as he takes hold of her hands, "Hey, no harm no foul. This is something you can't just fight with words. And obviously you needed the blood as you were losing plenty of your own. I would have given it to you if you asked. Without hesitation". Ismael says this with a small smile, he doesn't even know why he's saying this. There's something that just feels familiar about Mason. She just seems to have this being he wishes to protect, he doesn't know where this comes from, but he knows one thing for sure. There is someone in front of him who is in distress and needs his help, so he will do his best to give it to her.

Ismael begins to stand up as he brings Mason up too, he goes to hug her as he says, "Look you're fine and I'm fine. Neither of us came out of this badly wounded, and I won't hate you for what you did. After all it probably did helped you stay alive, I don't mind that at all, and in all honesty I would do it again if you become wounded again". If Mason hugs back Ismael will just grit through the pain to make sure Mason isn't too worried. Still Ismael looks around and says, "Hey lets grab that necklace so we can get you some proper clothing, because my jacket seems to have lost its use". As he lets go and jokingly jetures to his torn up jacket. He starts move away as he feels the ground shake and shutter, not knowing what was happening, he crouches to the ground so he doesn't fall over. Especially with his wounds he wouldn't want to fall again.

Mason looked at him in some surprise as he seemed to take it actually rather well, even taking her cold hands. Sure most of what he said was fairly true but...even mentioning willingness to do it if asked? It just seemed so wrong to the woman who'd been hunting and hating vampires for so long. He was alive, but what if she hadn't stopped? How could he just let it go so easily?

He got up and took her with him and hugged her. That was actually rather nice, she didn't exactly have that many people she could trust. Normally, a vampire might rely on their "blood" relations. But Mason wasn't the type to do that. So senses of familiarity and friendship weren't the most common.

She swallowed as he continued, somewhat hugging back but trying to be gentle knowing he got flung across a room. Nobody was too badly hurt, at least that's what he said. And he wouldn't hate her. No, maybe not. But she might hate herself. Even if what he said did help. And did soothe that it wasn't entirely her fault.

After a short moment he mentioned getting the necklace and let go geturing to the torn jacket. She smiled slightly brushing her hair back and looking at the tear that still had blood on it and could see the skin underneath. "Thank you Izzy." she said quietly. He started to move and then the ground began to shake, she crouched down as well using her hands to steady her as the whole building seemed to shake causing the dust to fall.

She realized she actually had a power just like this and hoped it wasn't a vampire around, or maybe it was an earthquake? She leaned over for the vampires corpse and gripped her stomach as she did so in pain. Remembering the necklace, and just in case any of the Earth split open she was not going to let that corpse fall with it.

The earthquake stopped after sometime as a few holes had opened up in the area, with one being right near the corpse that was about to fall int, but because of Mason's judgment she kept the body from falling in. There had been a few points in the roof and walls that came crumbling down, yet with everyone where they were the ruble more or less covered them all with dust. As they both recuperate, if mason checks the body she will find the man had the necklace in his pocket. This necklace is actually a gold locket with a blue S in the locket it self.

If opened it will show a small picture of the woman seen in Mason's vision, the little girl, and a tall man. This picture seems to be when the girl was a small child as she still looks to be carried by her mother, as the man and woman seems to be dressed in their best as this must be a family picture. The picture seems to be in pristine condition, the out side of the locket is slightly dinged up and covered in dust and some dried blood, but other than some quick cleaning it will be all clean and good to be given to the child.

Ismael at one point decided that laying on his back was the best option as crouching for that time was getting too hard because of his ribs, so he decides that getting a nice massage from mother earth was a a great idea. And in all honesty not his smartest moves, as while laying down he was hit in the head a few times by pebbles and covered in dust, but other than looking like Casper the Dumb ****, he was alright.

Mason gripped the body tightly as more and more the building shook. Nope, probably not a vampire, not with those cracks opening up. When it does finally stop, and she first looks to Ismael. Covered in plenty of dust, but seemingly uninjured. She shuffles through the mans pockets and finds the item the spirit was telling them about.

She glanced inside and smiled, a sad smile, but a smile. The girl and her family. That smile turned to sorrow as she realized it was an image the likes of which the girl would never get again, not like she'd had before. She scrubbed off the locket as best she could of the dried blood and dust and stood up looking at it in sadness while walking over to Ismael, "It's of her family." it was clear in her voice that it saddened Macy. Regardless of however her own family relations were, she felt bad for the girl.

The vampire hunter looked up the stares, "I guess it's time to get this back to her." she said somberly and began to start walking. Hoping the child was quite alright. She assumed the fae might have kept her safe, or at least, she hoped it would. She looked at the locket as she went up the stairs, "She's lost her mother. That's not something a person heals from very easily at that age."

When the building finally stopped shaking Ismael began to stand up and began clearing his body of debris and dust. He then begins to fish for his tattered long sleeve to at least cover himself a little. He still has quite a bit of the dust and stuff on him as it makes him look slightly like a ghost. Ismael began slowly trying to sneak up on Mason like a ghost to surprise her, yet once she turned around Ismael realized it was no time to make a joke.

Mason was looking down towards the small locket as she looked filled with sadness. Then she hit him in his feelings, it's a picture of her family, something that did make Ismael quite sad as that's just heart wrenching for a little girl to ask for. Ismael knew if his moms died he would be just devastated, yet he knew why the little girl wanted it. She wanted to see her mom, but she just watched her die.

"Yeah it's about that time", as Ismael just looks at Mason trying to comfort her. Ismael followed behind keeping quiet and listened. Ismael then answered, "It definitely isn't something you heal quickly". He said with an involuntary half smile. As he then continues, "But people are strong by nature. I believe in the child. She'll make it through". He says not in an enthusiastic manner, more of like a promise.

Ismael has believed that people are tenacious and people are strong mentally. After all if he never did believe this then why would he keep fighting to find answers in a world of insanity just to get more questions? Why would people continue to fight against vampires and other things if they know the creature would never die? Is man foolish? Yes. But they are tenacious.

She might have been amused of the ghostly appearance if it wasn't for the situation they were in. He agreed as they began to ascend. It wasn't a happy moment. She glanced over her shoulder at him as he mentioned that people heal. Humans are strong by nature. She smiled partially, looking back at the necklace as they kept going. "Yeah. I hope that's how it goes for her." was all she said at first.

Mostly, Mason would ascend in silence. Walking each step wondering what to do once they saw the girl again. Eventually reaching the floor, thank goodness the stairs were still intact. She hoped the Fae would be there with the child, safe and sound. And if they were, Mason would gently and quietly approach, making just enough noise to let her know she was there, while holding the necklace in her hands for her to see.

If she was there and did little, Mason would go up to the little girl, sit down next to her and hold out the necklace to her trying to put her arm around her for a second just to see if the child was needing of an embrace, if Mason could actually give that.

Ismael would follow Mason in silence as she seems to not wish to talk especially with these emotions. He did keep his mind at ease with his simple humming as it would be a bad taste for him to just walk in silence and be sad.

He stayed at the stair well when they made it to the floor with the kid. He didn't think he would need to sit there and just be another body in the room, especially when he is bloody and covered in white dust.

The child just sat there with her knees to her face as she just stared down into her knees as the spirt was there just watching over the small girl. As mason came over making her presence known the spirit saw her and tilted its head as it just watched Mason sit next to the little girl. When Mason held out the necklace for the little girl to see, her eyes lit up as she too it into her hands and began to cry/laugh as she got something back from her mother. As Mason moved her arm around the child to embrace her, her arm passes through the child's body finding she is, in fact a ghost. As the child looks towards Mason with a big smile as she has tears streaming down her face, "Thank you".

As the child rises and takes the hand of the other spirit as they start walking away the spirit wearing Mason's clothing smiles at Mason revealing the face of the mother in the picture as they both fade into nothing.

Soon the smog lets up and disappears as the building becomes even more run down and ruined place and appears to have been abandoned for a long time.

Set in a neat pile is all of Mason's clothing and weapons.
