Ismael seemed more offended by his prompting then anything. And those shadows weren't receding. Now he was on trial of sorts. Usually, Valerian did not feel fear. He was just not that type of person. He felt fear sometimes from his own kind, with how the women could potentially just get mad and kill the men. But otherwise? Especially around humans? No.

He was feeling it now. He was being given no choice and those extra eyes began forming across his forehead. Might as well accept it then. "THIS" extra legs seemed to step out of his pants as the spider limbs grew from his torso, which then extended into the entire lower form of a spider while his upper body retained an almost human appearance but with additional eyes on his head and those bristly hairs forming across some of his back and arms. Crawling of numerous spiders nearby could be heard as their attention was drawn to him.

Sara watched anxiously and fearfully wondering how he was going to get out of this before the shadows eventually faded away, "Now that's more like it." The fae spoke again followed by a giggle and the trees seeming to return to normal.

Valerian however did not do so just yet. Because Ismael had seen he was a Jorogomo. And he wasn't quite sure he wanted him to know that. He stood up on those massive spiderlike legs. Though smaller then some of the woman Jorogomo, Valerian was certainly not weak nor short for one. And from the perspective of a human who hadn't hunted the things, it was not something that was exactly pretty to look at. "Congratulations you just met a Jorogomo. Now," he leaned over barely needing to take a few steps to close the distance, "Explain to me how well you can keep a secret, when it's at the risk of your own life."

There were a few things Jorogomo were known for. And one of those things was how cold and manipulative they could be. Valerian was not much of an exception. If you weren't prey, a threat, or in the way, then maybe he could have pity or emotion for you.

Ismael however, was a potential threat.

Oh, he was hiding that.

Ismael was deep into a terror paralysis, one that left him near speechless and unable to run. "Wh-wh-wh-wh-?", was the only utterance Ismael could get out as he watched the man in front of him start transforming into this large spider thing. Wait...like what he saw a few days ago, that creature spider thing was just like this. Ismael could only watch in horror as it spoke to him, pulling out a weapon was no option this was not just some normal person, they, they are immensely terrifying to say the least. And all Ismael could do was stare in horror.

Even when he was spoken to and even when things moved around all that could fill Ismael's head was, 'oh god, oh ****, I'm gonna die'. As Ismael finally came back to his senses for a moment to sputter out, "Ah-ah-oh-uh, I've kept the secret…uh…I met one of your kind…a few days ago…oh…I haven't told anyone about that at all…even when someone was eaten…I thought it was too crazy to believe". Ismael just wants to run, but he wouldn't know where to, all he can think was the water, but he didn't know where the river was, or what was in it. If there were spider people on the forest, then what could be in the water?

Valerian watched the man freak at the sight of his transformation, probably more then the threats he was making. But the point was that if he had to do it, he might as well scare the guy while he was at it. Try and drill it into him. He smiled at Ismael while all of his eyes glittered in the darkness when Ismael mentioned having kept a secret about meeting one days before but not having told anyone about it.

Valerian's breathing slowed a bit and he began to simply slowly walk behind Ismael, still leaning over him, "And if you tell anyone what I am. Can you guess how that'll end for you?" he inquired rhetorically, not that he would let him answer, "It'd mean nobody would ever find your body."

His warning was followed by him walking past the human and next to Sara who had picked up the set of trousers, holding a hand out for her and letting her hop onto his extended back, she waved back at Ismael, "Sorry, just don't go telling anyone ok!" she looked genuinely apologetic but not actually guilty. Nor like she blamed Valerian in any way. Valerian glanced over his shoulder once more with a wicked grin before crawling into the trees and rather quickly vanishing amongst them as they headed on their way.

You know, threats don't dig deep for Ismael, especially when they aren't anywhere near as scary as the man talking. Ismael listened but didn't respond because all he could think of was, 'Oh god. I don't wanna come here anymore. I'm starting to hate this forest more and more every god damn time I come in here'. As Valerian walked past him and towards Sara as she sounded apologetic about what happened, that's good at least he can feel some reprieve from his absolute terror he is feeling from these things.

As once they left Ismael felt a strong sensation to just go home. Doesn't matter what will happen there he just wants to go home. He hates this forest now and wishes the spider things in it can go to hell. Hell the Fae was more enjoyable than what he witnessed. Hell killing zombies was more preferable than this. All Ismael wanted to do was go on a nice leisurely walk as he cleared his mind of worry, but noooo, now he has to go and now keep even darker secrets or he will die. The worst part is the threat of death doesn't scare, him the threat of it coming from a 10 foot tall spider person who probably has plenty more people like him is what terrifies him.

Ismael takes his flashlight and just starts heading to the river with his hand near his gun out of fear something will come out to get him. But that is a secondary effect, Ismael was afraid that a spider person would come out just to make sure he doesn't speak. But Ismael's travel to the city, then home, was uneventful, but he definitely contemplated setting the forest on fire like 4 times, out of spite to kill some spiders. But alas he decided otherwise as he goes to the store, buys around 100 dollars of Strawberry milk and ice cream, as he goes home and eats his terror away.
