Re: Burning Crash [MM]
Sara Rosetti was not exactly the most typical woman. Simply, she was a thrall. Not to a vampire however, as might be suspected. But to a Jorogomo. A siren, and for a particular purpose. She was having a child. Furthering of the Jorogomo race, Valerian, the Jorogomo who enthralled her, considered it quite a success. However he could not exactly spend all his time exclusively around her. And she had not yet gotten into the later stages. She was not yet obviously pregnant.
Right now, the woman was simply sitting in a forest. This was after-all where Sirens often tread, and Jorogomo spent much time returning to it once he was done with his day. It was a quiet spot normally, except, there was a sound. A roaring sound from above. She looked up and to her surprise a plane was hurtling towards the ground, "Oh...crap." she stood up and started rushing towards the location. As she crept closer, something just felt...wrong.
But that wasn't for right now, people could be dying!

Re: Burning Crash [MM]
Ismael is out on a nightly walk as he is still having trouble sleep, and the cold air is soothing on his body. He used to dislikes the cold, yet he started to find the cold to be more enjoyable. He might also be out to find some more information on what he saw. Maybe a morbid curiosity has drawn him out, but he is still afraid of this forest. Especially since spiders can be anywhere from the nature of them being creepy crawlies. But hey, he has his hand gun on him, it makes him fell better about being out here. At least until he saw a strange sight.
A loud roar started coming through the sky, "Well **** me", came rolling out of his mouth as he watched a plane come crashing into the earth. His eyes are widened and his hands are shaking as he takes a deep breath and started booking it towards the crash. Please let someone be alive please let someone be alive, is all that was running through his head as he was running through the forest with a shaky flashlight and a loose sense of direction.
As he neared the plane he started to find something in the back of his mind naw at him that something is amiss, but he doesn't know what it could be. He just keeps going as someone could still be alive and they could use the help if they are.

Re: Burning Crash [MM]
Sara got to the plane, a small mostly grey personal plane which looked to only have enough room for one occupant. She leaned against a tree for a moment of breath as she saw it, crashed into a tree, nose crumpled, one wing not even connected anymore. She just hoped that whatever was left of the cockpit, was enough that someone inside might be alive.
She heard noises and her head darted to the side, someone else was here, she managed to glimpse a person. Well, she couldn't exactly hope much more then that they weren't a vampire or something. She returned her gaze to the mostly white plane. Wait? White? Ok whatever, no time to think on that. She started rushing to the plane, "Help!" she called, managing to get to the cockpit and trying to pry it open, but failing miserably.
Someone was indeed in there. And they looked injured, though they weren't bleeding. But they looked like they were breathing. "I think they're alive still!"
Something just...wasn't right. About the plane, about the broken trees. Like this wasn't how it was supposed to be.

Re: Burning Crash [MM]
Ismael was rushing, crashing through bushes and breaking through branches. Not caring about the noise he makes, all he cared about is that a plane came down and people could be extremely injured.
As he reached the crash sight he found a small personal plane that held a mostly fine opal cab. A missing wing and destroyed trees, a crash that seemed to have left most parts still there, a woman who was already here started running over to the plane as she called out for him to help.
Well this is why he is here, as he came rushing over and began to help, he started to use his hunting knife for leverage to hopefully pry open the door. He then took a deep breath as he said, "Ok I'm ready, I'll count from three then we pull".
"One, Two, Three. PULL". As he will start putting his weight and strength into pulling trying to pull the door open. But as he started he felt a strange feeling come over him, something seems off. But he doesn't care as he need to pull who ever is in this damn...white? plane. Whatever, the light must have screwed with what he saw.

Re: Burning Crash [MM]
The man came to help, thank goodness. Ok, they were going to count to three and pull. She breathed a few times, trying to time it with when he was getting ready. 1, 2, 3, and she put her weight into it. Grunting with the effort, she had to slow down. For the sake of the child. But she also had to get this person out. There was some mixture of working and not working going on. But the cockpit door was budging, pull, pull, pull. Bending.
THUNK the door yanked off and Sara fell back a few steps before steadying herself, "Oh thank goodness." she said leaning against her knees and breathing more then she really felt she should be, she pointed to the person in the plane, "...Right....ok...lett's get them out then." she took a step, paused and had to take in another breath, "Ok, maybe you do that. Just gimme a second." she said putting her hands on her back and just breathing for a second. "Are they...ok?"
Whoever they were, they were alive. They didn't seem to be heavily hurt at least, no blood. So nothing external was the upside. But they also seemed unconscious.
How many trees had fallen again?

Re: Burning Crash [MM]
Ismael's breathing wasn't fully there yet he knew he they needed to pull this door open as soon as possible as he took a deep breath and heaved, finding when his temporary partner isn't helping he takes a deeper breath and heaves harder as he pulls and after a few attempts they finally get the door off, but not in a normal way as it starts to fall off.
Ismael catches the door so it doesn't crush them as he sets it down, he realizes his breathing has became worst yet he was still good as long as he is breathing. He huffs out, "Alright you catch your breath here I'll bring them out and see who else is in here". As Ismael begins to head back in coughing slightly as he begins to check on the person, hu was it always smoke in here?
As he heads in and brings his shirt up to block the smoke he begins to find a woman in her mid twenties with long blonde hair. Ismael immediately goes to grab her and start bringing her out, but find her long red coat has been caught up and pinned, he pulls out his knife to cut her out, revealing a long black dress.
As he fully pulls her out of the plane he places her next to the woman outside as he says he will check the pilots seeing if they are ok. But once he headed back in to check the cockpit he found no one else inside, wait wasn't the door leading to the cockpit the only one? Or was it always there? Ismael didn't dwell on it as he checks the surroundings for anything they need to worry about to find the plane completely empty, why? Not thinking about it, he goes to check on the two now.
As he comes out he starts to check on his temporary companion first, "Hey are you alright? Did you catch yourself now?". As he makes sure she isn't injured in anyway. As he then begins to check their Amelia Earhart as well, making sure she is actually ok. Hu, why would she wear a dress and coat while piloting?

Re: Burning Crash [MM]
Sara gave a wave as he said to catch her breath. Yeah, not that she had a choice. Man she was getting tired easier recently. To be fair though, she wasgrowing a human...no, jorogomo, inside of her. So there was that. She tried to watch as he managed to get a woman out of the plane. She knelt down by the woman as he got her out before he went back to look in.
Ismael came back out to check, asking if Sara was ok, she nodded, still a bit breath, "I'll be alright, thank you. I just...got really tired." she explained, muttering, "Kind of happens when you're pregnant." before trying to check and see how their crashed friend was.
Well she was alive that was obvious. She was breathing relatively normally. Her heart didn't even seem to be that out of the ordinary. Just that bruise on her head was really worth noting. She barely even seemed that dirty from the crash. She at least expected debris but there was so little anything. "Hey, I'm not sure if you can hear me. But we're going to help you ok?" there was a slight mumble form the woman. But nothing else.
Hm...plane looked grey again. Really weird lighting around here.
She looked up at Ismael, "Well...she's not completely paralyzed at least. Oh...I do hope she didn't break her back, that would have been bad to move her wouldn't it." she grimaced at the thought before checking for ID. Nothing. Sighing she sat back and shook her head, "I'm gonna be totally honest. I don't know if we should run for help, or try to carry her to help. I don't really think the forest is the safest place right now."

Re: Burning Crash [MM]
Ismael states some relief finding his temporary companion is ok, "It's good to hear you didn't over exert yourself". But when he heard she was pregnant he could not believe it, she had no real look of it as she looked completely flat stomached. Well, she mustn't be that along, just along enough, but still, "Well in that case I'm very thankful you're alright".
As they began to check her, hu she is not that bad of shape, a bruise on her forehead was the only real wound. Even her hair was mostly fine, just slightly ruffles up, but not even any piece of debrie. Well it must have been from her...orange jacket? Was it orange when he cut her out, maybe. He did take a glance at most then immediately cut it in hopes of getting her out quickly so she can be checks. Other than that she seems fine, maybe some internal stuff she seems good.
Until, his compatriot brought up a good point, she could have broken her back, Ismael has very little medical knowledge to know, so he just says, "Well, ****". As he thinks a broken back could be very possible, but with her being alive and moaning, she could feel it if it was broken. Wait would she? who knows. All Ismael knows is that a hospital is not nearby, but ambulance couldn't really get out here, as he thought his train was broken by his companion talking about the forest not being safe.
Ismael takes a breath in as he says, "Yeah, I found the forest not being safe with the stuff here. Waiting would take too long and be too risky, we should try to bring her to safety. I'll lift her up on my back. It would give her more support than bridal". As Ismael goes to check her one last time making sure they don't grab her the wrong way as he shifts her to check her back, was her dress always that short? It seemed to have went past the knees before, now it seems to be a bit above the knees. Maybe it's him lifting her and finding her dress past her shifted knee, what ever they just need to get her out of here.
Ismael begins to lift the woman up onto his back and gesture to the flashlight, "Hey can you light the way for me? I kind have my hands full, and I don't want to have us in the dark by us both carrying her". Hmm she seems lighter now, and smells nicer, like roses. Maybe its from the smoke that covered it up? There doesn't seem to be as much as before, he was in the thick of it so it would look like a lot to him. But why is she lighter? He did catch his breath, and she is on his back instead of half way on his arms, probably just his imagination.

Re: Burning Crash [MM]
Sara nodded gratefully at his concern, "Thanks. I'd be more careful but uh..." she gestured to the woman on the ground, "Kind of a big situation."
Things sure could have been worse though, she could have been dead. Something still just seemed off though. Even as they looked at her thinking what to do. For a second she thought there was a tug at the womans lips. Like a smile. But...that couldn't be right. No she must have imagined it.
Ismael agreed that they weren't safe staying here and he'd carry her. After a little work eventually managing to pick her up the safest way he was able to. Did her dress seem a little off? Didn't matter. Must be the way it tucked. She looked to the flashlight picking it up as he explained that it'd be better to see and him carry her, then not and them both do it.
She picked it up and walked in front, trying to remember which way they came from, she actually knew a good bit of the forests well. Valerian was a Jorogomo, and while he was prone to caverns, he also spent a lot of time in the forest. Where he could be in his true form.
However right now, everything just looked...wrong. "Uh. Don't suppose you remember which way is town."
Humans are so amusing to play with sometimes.
