Re: Canon Q&A With Storytellers
Yeah, that sounds about right to my swiss cheese memory but I can't find the original words of The David still. Not on this thread or any other I checked.
I do think it's what he said, I'm not arguing that. But I'd like his reply when he can get around to it anyway. <3

1)When shifting into an animal, what happens to things you have on you? Clothes/items/etc.
2)When shifting back into a human, do your clothes return with you/items you were carrying?
The answer to 2 probably depends on the answer to 1, but want to make sure I understand both sides of it.
I have, in the past, stated that the clothes just stay with you but aren't visible. But it's not a huge deal.

Re: Canon Q&A With Storytellers
Is there a difference between a vampires human thrall and a Sirens human thrall?
Because I know vampires enthralled by bloodthief/paladins have "hazy memories" and have hazy concentration because it's completely dominated against its will. However I was pretty sure Allurists were reversed in the sense they manipulated the emotions and minds of their victims to obey and have no problem with it, or at least no desire to change it.
Edit:
Another question in regards to Sirens, how come an individual can have some Siren blood in them, and yet be otherwise human, since anytime a Siren has a child it's with a human, and it's always a Siren?

Necuratists siring? According to the wiki's write up from an RP angle it seems like a hard no. Like the body no longer even tolerates human blood, right? And the grid restriction exists to match. Feeding from humans is 100% not possible.
(Yes. I get the siring link grows the game. Assuming you actually get a genuinely new soul.)

Bloodthief/Paladins overtly control their thralls totally and completely against their will.Mason wrote:Is there a difference between a vampires human thrall and a Sirens human thrall?

Allurists employ more complex methods which could be intimidation, seduction, basically convincing a thrall through persuasion and magic to be loyal to them. Basically human thralls are convinced that they want to work with their vampire masters. It's something they want to do for whatever reason.
Sirens are similar to that.
Did I say that they're always siren?Edit:

Necuratists can sire, yeah. The only requirement for turning someone is that they need to be drained of blood. That blood doesn't have to be consumed - so it could, for example, just be bled out.Colette wrote:Necuratists siring? According to the wiki's write up from an RP angle it seems like a hard no. Re: Canon Q&A With Storytellers
Thanks!
Also, summoning spirits... does the blood simply leave the individual or is it something more along having to wound themselves?
Aaand. Roleplaying power usage - can it be partially/ to an agreed upon degree? Example: Poison making someone feel woozy but not having the full harmful effects.

Also...oh, yeah, no you didn't say that I guess...well I guess that even furthers the difficulty of producing a Siren if it's possible they can end up mostly human.

They wound themselves briefly, yeah. It's just a superficial wound, basically.Colette wrote:Thanks!

I would normally prefer for powers to work like they do on grid, though there is some wiggle room in terms of the roleplay descriptions. 'Disease' might work better than Poison, for example, if you are looking to make someone woozy.
You could, for example, maybe mitigate some of that intense pain. From the wiki:
Disease: Usually, diseases do not affect vampires, but a mystic spell can cause a vampire too become riddled with a plague-like illness which slows them down and causes them a great deal of pain. The disease only lasts 24 hours, maximum, and does not always succeed.
