Blaike
wiped his hands off on his jeans as he finished off taking out a zombie that had wondered into the flats. The blonde looked around, squinting his blue eyes.
Melchior
looked up from where he was sat leaning against the wall. He had been here for about an hour and this was the first person he had seen - well, the first alive person he had seen. "Chocolate?" he smiled and held out a bar of decent chocolate as a way of greeting said alive person.
Blaike
scratched at his chin, wiping some blood on it as he did so. The eyed the chocolate then looked the other up and down slowly, blue eyes seeming to appraise the guy. Only after his gaze reached the other's eyes did he extend his hand to grab the chocolate. "Uh, Thanks?" He said almost questioningly.
Melchior
offered what he thought was a smile, but the wince he gave when he had to move kind of ruined it. "No problem, I've got loads, I sort of live off chocolate, actually I live off sugar and fizzy drinks, if I didn't brush my teeth a million times they would so fall out with the amount of sugar I drink, do you like sugar?" he didn't stop to breathe, and his eyes had taken on the effect that his dogs take when they want a treat.
Blaike
watched the mans movements closely, looking for any sign of a fight. He bit into the chocolate as he listened to the man ramble about sweets, drinks and teeth. "I mean, I won't say no to it, I get to eat it a lot more now that I don't have to worry about weighing in anymore." He tilted his head to the side eyes running over the man again, before he stuffed the rest of the chocolate bar into his mouth eating it greedily. "Blaike" He said with a mouthful of chocolate, reaching out his bruised, cut up hand to the other.
Melchior
nodded along as the other man spoke. He didn't really understand the 'weighing in' comment, but he didn't think it would matter if he just acted as if he did. "Yes, must be nice not to have to worry about putting on the pounds, I don't have to worry about it mostly because I spend a lot of time running around looking for things I have managed to lose or looking for things my dogs have stolen from other people." He said as he took the others hand and gave it one quick shake. "Melchior, I would get up...but as you can see.." he pointed down to his right leg which was bleeding and swollen. "I had a tumble down the stairs and now I'm sort of stuck, once the pain ebbs I'll see about hobbling to the hospital."
Blaike
Blaike finished chewing the chocolate, his eyes falling to the wound on the man. His eyes seemed to be glued to the spot, he gulped taking a step back his hands balled into fists and he instantly shoved them into his short's pockets. He ripped his gaze away from the wound, looking down, and to the wall furthest away from them. "Ah, You should get that checked out kid. Before something smells it." Blaike didn't dare look back at the man, his whole posture tight, like an animal that was ready to attack at the faintest move.
Melchior
tucked his good leg more firmly under him and gave a small grunt in agreement. "Oh, don't worry. I plan on it. Just hurts a lot right now so waiting for it to stop throbbing. If you don't like the sight of blood you should head on out, personally I would be in a dead faint if it was anyone else's blood, but I am use to bleeding myself - bit of an accident waiting to happen." he pushed back against the wall and started to slowly use it to first sit up and then finally stand. "Should take my weight, maybe I should get a taxi or something though."
Blaike
pulled his phone out of his pocket, typing into it quickly. "I can order you a ride if you'd like. Make sure you get to it safely and all, wouldn't want a guy like you to get messed up out here." Blaike spoke like he had experience with getting into trouble in these parts, he slowly let his gaze wonder back over to the man, avoiding looking at the wound. "Not that I'm in the habit of helping anyone out, but it looks like you could use it, or something." He then shrugged his broad shoulders, like it was just a gesture anyone would do for someone around here, he made sure not to take a step closer though, knowing he needed to keep his distance so he wouldn't act on the rumbling in his stomach.
Melchior
waved off the other mans words as if they were nothing. "Don't worry about it! I'm fine. I'll call a taxi and be on my way, was just looking for a flat, poor business studies student, can't afford a great flat." He didn't want the other man to worry so he took out his phone and googled a local taxi that would take him to the hospital. "The place wasn't the worst I have seen, but the zombies make a little too much noise, I think I'll find somewhere else."
Blaike
let out a grunt, moving so the man could get past him, blue eyes watching every move the man made. He knew all to well what it was like to not want to accept help in this city. Instead he held his phone out to the man, a small smirk playing on his lips, he glanced away again as he did so. "Well, At least let me get your number before you hobble out there, on your own. Obviously you don't need no white knight that's going to save you." His blue eyes scanned the man again, stopping before they reached the wound, and scanning back up. He knew his words weren't true by the looks of the man, but if he said he didn't need help, Blaike wasn't going to push the subject. "That way if you ever need" He paused, obviously channeling his hunger into a different direction, he rose one blonde eyebrow over his bright blue eyes. "Anything." He said with such a tone that could only be taken as suggestive. "Give me a ring?"
Melchior
had booked his taxi and had been starting to move when he was suddenly faced with something that didn't happen often (read: ever), someone was clearly flirting with him. His cheeks turned pink and his green eyes when wide as he stared at the man before him. "Um..." for a moment he didn't really know what to do, this was out of his comfort zone. "Well...I suppose it wouldn't hurt to make a friend in a new city," he nodded to himself and took out his phone to bring up his own number, "07345786724 - feel free to text or call whenever, I don't really sleep and I do like having a good chat, oh! We should go see a movie sometime." What was once awkward nerves quickly turned into rambling and then morphed some how into him trying to set up a play date for himself. "Avengers Endgame has come out, I'd normally go with the other guys from uni...don't think they like me much though."
Blaike
Blaike typed the number into this phone quickly, he saved it and then held it up for the man to read, a smirk still held on his lips. It read -Cutie with a Woundie- totally unoriginal, but he wasn't one for word play. Blaike nodded his head to the man, putting his hands back into the safety of his short pockets. "I'm not much for movies, but I've had a few people tell me I'm the Thor of the bar I work at." He shrugged his shoulders again, then moved towards the door to hold it open for the man as he walked out. "Just hit me up when you got that fixed up, 'ight."
Melchior
began to hobble out of the building. "You'll need to text me so I have your number," he said with one of those puppy dog eyed smiles. "And I can totally see you as Thor. I'm Tony Stark, but I talk a lot, I'm a talkative Stark. Anyway, was great meeting you. You are pretty cool." He waved and got in the taxi that had just pulled up.
Blaike
Blaike stood in the door way, he watched the man get into the taxi, and finally took in a deep breath that wasn't really needed, he pulled his phone out and sent a quick text to the number it simply said. :: You should walk away more often, You've got the *** of Captain America.:: He slipped his phone back into his pocket and winked to the man in the taxi.
Melchior
read the message just as the taxi began to drive off. He looked shocked at first and then he started to laugh while waving his goodbyes.
