These might have been asked before, and if so, I apologise:
1-----
Say a character has an inheritable power/curse, and then they sire and their childer inherits said trait(s). Then, down the line, the sire player removes said power/curse (with or without IC explanation readily available). Does the childer still get to claim inheritance from the sire?
2-----
Can inheritable traits be dormant for x-generations? Say a gen 3 bloodline matriarch has a really freaky curse, and then their great-grandchilder has it too. Can the gen 6 vampire claim to have gotten their great-grandsire's curse despite it skipping gen 4 and gen 5?
3-----
For those that sire accidentally (ie. zemblatious parentage) and there is no exchange of blood, are traits still inheritable? Conversely, can siring curses like gradual turning be used to explain non-inheritable curses being shared? Would the latter siring method have more *oomph* than the former?
4----- General non-inheritance mechanics question
Say Bjørn has 4 curses and 4 powers. I have never tried this so I have no idea whether the game would even allow this to happen in the first place, but... If I want to delete a curse, does a power automatically get deleted too to balance it out?
Thank you to anyone who answers, and apologies if this has been asked before.

If I remember correctly, this was left up to the decision of the players involved? Just because they don't have that curse/power at that present moment doesn't unwrite history of what's become canon in that particular blood line (someone correct me if I'm wrong).

To delete a curse, you would have to gain another one before due to the four powers in place. In the case of powers, I've never had trouble removing those without removing curses first.

I think you're 100% right
and I think that the answers to 3 and 4 are both yes,
that they (rp powers/curses) can skip generations and any descendant of that vampire's direct line, no matter how they were turned, could inherit.
you are welcome <3 :) just keep in mind we aren't the last word on any of it, that would be David or Josh. <3 You would want to poke them, or I could move this to the Canon Q&A, if you wanted to be 100% sure.
I appreciate it, but I think I'd rather take my chances and skirt about the issue if it's necessary. At the present, a lot of these stem from curiosity and not need.
