Narla manages a slight smirk in response to Cara’s more lighthearted introduction, “Yeah.” It is unlikely she would have met the other two in a different circumstance today, she doubted. She preferred to keep to herself. Preferred. It doesn’t always happen that way, of course. She shifts in her seat, pulling her legs to her chest and hugging them. She appreciated Cara’s attempt to help her, but she figures the driver would be very uncooperative in some way. It is almost like he wants them to fail, Narla let that thought linger. Would they kill them anyway? Maybe this is all a recruiting ploy, the gangsters wanting to find the next member of their squad.
“…”

Narla would rather be killed.

Jean bounces his heel on the carpet, “We could do it with a map..” he backs up Cara’s idea with a stiff jaw. “We don’t know what the place looks like… Surely you have one if you want us to break in.” He fidgeted tremendously. He hated this idea with a vengeance but there was nothing he could do about it. There was no way he could stop himself or this situation with the hand these brutes had on this.

The driver grumbles something under his breath before answering, “Look under your seats..” Beyond that he says nothing more, turning into a slightly more populated are. Sirens in the distance filled the air, slowly increasing in their volume when the occasional police car hurries by. If they listened closely they could hear the sounds of shouting and gunshots as well. Beyond the tinted windows are some scuffles between policemen and armed people, some vampires, some very dead but still moving. The further they moved in, the louder the gunshots become. A loud ‘pop!’ could be heard on the rider side of the car. Someone was shooting nearby and either missed or is a terrible aim.

Chaos everywhere.

Jean doesn’t look any more prepare than he was when he voluneteered.
Narla watches the fights blankly.

Cara turned her head as Jean spoke up, man, he really did seem brave for someone who might die. Or it was shock or something, which she thought might be why she wasn't just freaking out. She'd been in bad situations, not like this, not nearly, this was nuts. But him? Or this woman? Oh, well, they did live in a city of vampires. Heck they might have more experience in crazy things then she did she realized.

Finally the driver answered with to look underneath their seats, she leaned over to try and pull out whatever was under to make sure they all had it. Her eyes lifted even as she pulled out anything and looked around as all the noises came about. This wasn't something quiet was it. Not only did they expect them to steal something, they were gonna do it in the middle of something insane. She felt her heart race just a little faster, fear? Maybe.

She looked at the other two swallowing, "I don't really know what's gonna happen, but one way or another we have to get inside, and get outside. And with the three of us, there might not be many ways to do it." Cara ran her hands through her hair frowning, "I hate this, but I have two ideas? If you're willing to listen. If you have any I'll gladly listen as well."

They wouldn't have much time so she figured it was best to get it over with first, "One is that we distract them. You're injured, they'll want to help you Narla, we rush you inside begging for help, with everything going on maybe one of us can pass off to get what we need. Don't need to stick around long, just grab it and get back. I don't want to use your condition like that but it'd also mean you'd get help." She clasped her hands together in thought, "The other is that we sneak in through a window or roof. We'd have to be careful, and buildings like this don't break easy. But maybe if we can break in from some back or otherwise not paid attention to entrance maybe we can grab it and get out before anything serious happens. That's...really dangerous I know. But I can't think of anything else but these two ideas."

Narla wondered if they would die in the car. The glass was likely bullet proof, but they could still be shot by more persistent rounds if the shooters cared to turn their guns toward them. She had no control in this situation, so she expected nothing and hoped for some relief in the end eventually. Would her friend give her that relief soon? She wondered if she would she ever see him again.

That's when the next wave hit her. An uncomfortable uneasiness that twists her gut and washes weakness over the rest of her body. Her head swam and spun dizzily. Narla instinctively grabs the nearest thing she could aside from the car door, specifically Jean's thigh, trying to keep herself from what she believes is her falling through the floor of the suv, and before she could understand what happened, warm, sour, irony fluid shut up her throat. Her every urge forced her to curl over, but she was barely in the bend before she projectile vomited more blood and stomach fluid all over the back of the passenger side seat.

Jean was examining the map himself, trying to pick apart any alternative options if they sounded better at all. He had none besides his intense desire to get out of this giant death trap. When Narla nearly throws up her whole stomach, he flinches away from the spew of fluid. "Uuh... umm probably the first option, if she even makes it out of the car." His words grew stiffer and more nervous. His eyes look ready to pop out of his head as he stares at the vomiting waif. For a moment Jean has to cover his mouth to keep himself from losing his lunch, too. He turns to Cara and her map, "Or one of us stays with her and the other sneaks into the building.. I..Iiii don't know. I've never been inside before."

Narla tries to sit upright, but her body disdained the action and she payed for it in more bloodied, acidic fluids. Everything turned and twisted. She couldn't make up from down, left from right. She didn't understand what was going on with her body. She was too in-the-moment to really comprehend what was going on around her but she knew she would be no help. She didn't have to think it, she simply felt it.

"S***!!" the driver hissed under his breath venomously. He wasn't aware his nice vehicle would be subject to this sort of abuse from one person. He sped up, growling to himself, honking loudly on his way through so no one ran in from of his car. There was a blockade set up around the police department, and some swat officers, even some officers out of uniform guarding the building.

"Narla.. can you hear me?" Jean finally says to her tensely.

Narla groans something almost inaudible, for fear she would puke again.

"We're getting you help, okay?" He continues to her. If only she could catch the look on his face. It is clear he's convinced she will die very soon. The office worker is trying his best not to lose his mind against the current of this predicament. "Cara, are you good with sneaking around? I mean.. I don't know much about breaking in to buildings, but if you lead I might be some help.. We can't die here. I have a family, ya'know?" Jean laughs bitterly and almost hysterically had he not stopped it before it started.

(Later again lol.. Had some rl problems again. I'm so sorry :( )

Cara looked at the woman with concern, flinching herself when she spewed vomit over one seat. She was getting worse with every moment practically. There was no way they could get her through this easily. She was almost more of a burden then a help at this point. Jean seemed to agree with the first option, even if hesitantly. Well, he was hesitant about any of it. Fair enough. In fact he'd done rather well all things considered.

As to his question, "Well, good enough, maybe you should stick with her when we go in? Help keep them distracted, I might be able to find my way to where I need. If not, or you see something, you may need to distract someone else. Just for long enough for me to grab whatever it is and get out. If you have to stay to distract them, do it, I'll get the item back to these...weirdo's. And soon enough this'll all be over ok."
she said. "Ok one other thing, when we actually get her out and to them, act sort of hysterical, shocked, show it as difficult to give out information, things like I don't know, stuttering, uh uh uh, stuff like that. Just keep the story vague but enough that they're trying to pay attention."

She may have acted with confidence. But she most certainly didn't have too much of it. Yeah maybe more then Jean, maybe more then any normal person. But she had kind of had a really weird time ever since she got here and things were kind of starting to get a bit on that point where she was in a constant state of shock which seemed like a calm.

Cara found herself swelling anyway, and she wasn't sure if it was spit, nervousness, or that she was having trouble with all the problems Narla seemed to be having. Soon...everything was gonna get a whole lot harder.

(It's fine, been happening to me too. And the site change thing didn't help at all, totally has thrown me off.)
