Re: Honey [OPEN]
What in the hell just happen? The evening was good a nice little prey, some easy money and then a gun shot who hit the car right next the me. So I duck or should I said I try to duck when the prey transform into the predator or I dont know what. She yell at someone ...
The other women was there with a ... gun? say what? Hey I'm the predator here or should I say I'm suppose to be.
- What the ... ?
As he was seeing the women with fang the size of his arm. And one thought pass through his mind (So that what being a burger feel like).

Narla shuddered nervously because of how furious the other woman became. “S..s..orry…,” she mouthed, Narla’s voice absent while she witnessed the other clamp her fangs into the neck of the man that attempted to knock her out. The pale beauty was a vampire. Another vampire.. The bystander backed away, eyes frozen on the scene until she was far enough away to be out of their sight and them out of hers. Narla shakily returns to the bus stop bench, lucky enough to find her bag still sitting there. She carefully attempts to put the safety back onto her gun, though it was difficult with how unsteady her hands were, and tucked it into her bag again among the cushion of clothing. Without saying or attempting anything else, she walks away from the scene, terrified and speechless.
(ooc note: Narla has Sweet Blood and Intense Medium. The latter typically makes her see 'weird things' and perceive more people being present in any given place than there actually are. Please feel free to 'contradict' her observations.)

Canines sunk into thick flesh, blood gushing over waiting tongue. Eudokhia dug her fingers into the thief's neck, pulling him down roughly to bring him to her height. There was nothing wrong with the way Eudokhia fed; it all worked the way it should. Those canines would inject venom into the vein, causing numbness and confusion. An attack mechanism, a way to incapacitate her prey to make the feeding easier.
She could taste deviance in his blood. She could taste adventure and mischief. He reminded her of her older brother, before everything went wrong. He reminded her of her childhood, when they were all children and weren't yet a part of their father's world. When they liked each other, and didn't see each other as pieces in their father's game. Suddenly, she was nostalgic.
Suddenly, she wondered if she HAD to kill him.

That it I'm gonna die tonight. Oh! well it was a long party but its the last call.
He close his eyes and as the life slowly go from his heart some flash of old memory passe in his head: the first steal, the first computer, the first death. Moose submit to the death princess.
- As I stand in the valley of the shadow of death ...

Eudokhia wouldn't even ask.
She was not given a choice. Why should she give the choice to others? If she'd thought about it, she might have done it another way. If this man reminded her of her brother, of her childhood, then wouldn't it be better if he stuck around? If she forced this on him and he hated it as much as she did, then there'd be no chance of that.
But, she wasn't thinking. When the last of the man's life slipped from him, she let him go. When his body slid to the ground, she followed suit. She brought her wrist to her already bloodied lips and tore through the tender flesh. With a brilliant gleam to her eyes she offered that wrist to the dying man; she held it over parted lips, hoping for the blood to touch his tongue, to trickle down his throat.
"Drink. Drink and you will live forever," she said, accent thick.

The darkness came to get him and the light slowly start to disapered. The coldness of the void was around him and in the dark one voice reach him telling him to drink.
- Is this the angel on the demon talking to me? Well angel of mercy or whatever you are I'll do as you ask.
He open his mouth an start to drink the liquid.

The only experience that Eudokhia had was her own siring. The thief started to drink and she assumed that it would work. He was drained of his blood just like she had been. Now she was giving hers back, just like Freyja had done. The blood hadn't tasted like normal blood -- not that Eudokhia had been in the habit of consuming it. But she knew what her own tasted like. Like copper. There was something magical about a vampire's blood, like consuming pure ecstacy.
The effect was ruined, however, once the blood was absorbed into the system. The organs shut down, the body died before it could be reborn. Death was not an easy ride.
Eudokhia wondered whether everyone survived the change, or whether the pain, sometimes, was too much. What if his body rejected her blood? She'd soon find out.

Re: Honey [OPEN]
Quietly a man started to walk down the street. He moved quicker before the last turn. A young woman was on the seat. Her clothes looked shabby. Something about her demeanor reminded the man of himself. The attire tonight was black leather gloves that creaked when his fingers clinched and curled, as they were still being broken in. His jacket was medium to charcoal grey. A red and black diagonally stripped tie peeked out nearly from the coat, they hid most of the white button up shirt, and a red tie with black and white diagonal stripes.
His suit pants matched the coat. A vest underneath matched the attire. Quietly, a gloved hand went to the woman's shoulder. "It's not safe out there. You should find something to eat, get a good place to live. All I ask, pay it forward when you can," he spoke softly. Being that close, the man's long brown hair that caressed the shoulders of the coat. A stack of one hundred dollar bills was given to Narla. When she counted the neatly piled stack, wrapped, she would count ten thousand dollars. "Might want to take a cab," he spoke to the woman as he passed.
No name was given as he walked passed, and the cylinder canister slung over his shoulders was there. Art collectors would have known the container to be used to transfer artwork. This was how Simon worked. Random people reminded him of his start in Harper Rock. While he was given little, Simon was given something to work with. So, he would give back to others.
As Simon turned toward the alleyway, darkness started to fill Moose's vision. The soon-to-be dead man would have thought the angels, or demons, were coming for him. In reality, it was darkness following Simon. All of the darkness muted the sounds, sights, and everything else about the alleyway. They were at Simon's control.
"I've never been on the opposite end of these lectures. " Simon had caught the bit of blood around the dead man's lips, he knew the painful sounds that were going to follow. "You're being sloppy. Certain people, like Worthington, more prestigious people, would probably chew your *** up one side, then down the other. You're going to want to move him, if you did what I think you did." A gloved finger pointed toward the dying man.
Dying was painful, but it was loud. People often forgot that. "People heard a gunshot. It's why I'm here, guns are noisy. At least if you knocked him out, whatever, you could claim defense. Let the noise quiet down, or move to a new spot, then do whatever it is you're doing."

Re: Honey [OPEN]
Narla flinches at the touch of his hand. She was expecting someone else—the pretty vampire specifically, so she is surprised to see a man very nicely dress as the owner of that hand. She was not paying attention, withdrawn into her thoughts when he had. It was not wise to do at this time of night, or even in this sort of solitude, but she was so used to it, it became a difficult habit to break. She stares at Simon, confused, when he offers her money and tells her to find a good place to live. Did she look so unruly to be mistaken for a homeless person?
Now that she thought of it, how long had it been since she last looked into a mirror..
Her eyes fall to the cash.
They nearly bug out of her head.
“..th..that’s..” A lot of money. It is a lot of cash to have bundled up like that.. Narla is not greedy, no, but she never turned down a gift like that. Maybe she could pay him off eventually.. If she knew where to find him. Her earthy eyes study his face for a long moment, taking it in to memory as she accepts the currency.
“..okay..”
She takes the money and slips it inside her inner cardigan pockets. As he walked away, she followed him with her gaze, feeling this was a little too generous to be entirely safe. She noted the container on his back. It was something the art students carried around in school, back when she went to school… Maybe he was an art student? Was he a famous artist?
Narla mulled over the questions as he disappeared into the alley, and took them with her on her walk beside the paved streets. She did not know Harper well enough to grab a cab, but maybe there was a place to eat nearby.
Note: (Sorry for the long response time, had to handle some personal things)
