Kinderz meeting Narla

Post by Storyteller »

Kinderz
hey there

Narla
hoped all the sewers connected, but this one was.. very obviously more dangerous with the sort prowling around.. It surprised her to hear a normal voice.

Narla
..Hi?

Kinderz
watched her eyes light up because of him. His heart beats faster as a little excitement ensues. A smirk threatens to appear along his lips, but he suppresses the urge to. He didn't want to give off the idea that he was friendly or dangerous. He was just sorta there, and he just happened to notice her that's all.

Kinderz
I was just saying hi.

Kinderz
His speech hardly connected to his intentions since his plans for the evening were too stretched out, so hard to match with any one thing. He nods a little as he somewhat stares her down. Puffing his chest out he wondered if she could defend herself.

Narla
observes him quietly, watching how he puffed his chest, noting his stare.. He was waiting for something. She thought first it could be he wanted her to leave, or to not be bothered.. But he could walk away if he wished for that, or threaten her to go. He was expecting something to happen from her. That stare said so. Narla takes a step forward, her own heart beats just a little faster from her own expectations. "Are you lost, too?"

Kinderz
I'm not lost.

Kinderz
likes to wander about in abandoned places. Less eyes. Here, he was free to be him and wander about enjoying that freedom. He wasn't ashamed for it. Curious she would get lost in a place like this.

Kinderz
Are you lost?

Narla
nods, "I'm looking for someone.."

Kinderz
curious she was to him. Why would she put trust into his person by answering his question. He was a stranger to her yet the same could be said to him about her. She didn't know him. Yet they were talking. It wasn't an unusual thing for him to talk with someone he didn't know. It was only curious when it happened, but then he was a master at over analyzing everything. He untenses his shoulders by rubbing the tensed spot with the fingers of his right hand. He sighs, understanding what was happening. "Well, I was too, but I found them."

Narla
tips her head again, "Do they live here also?" She clasps her hands together, holding the question in her eyes.

Kinderz
"Live here? No way. We're in an abandoned sewer. I don't think anyone lives here to be honest." he tilts his head sideways, scrunching up his nose at her question. Why would someone live in the sewers? What a disgusting thought. He moves his right hand down to his left arm, rubbing the skin, mindlessly. It helped calm his nerves to always be doing something when doing nothing. "The person you're looking for lives here? Sorry, but that's disgusting to me." he almost gags, admitting that. It was realistically hard for him to open up to others. He shakes his head lightly..Maybe she'll go away from him, so he won't be drawn to the idea of throwing up.

Narla
smiles, amused, "Okay.. Thank you.." she turns away from him and begins her attempt to trace her path back to the entry.

Kinderz
digs the toe of his boot into the cement as he regrets what he's about to do. "Do-do you want to come with me to meet my person?" His eyes twitch momentarily as he begins being unusual. He pockets his hands to avoid clawing into his skin. "You don't have to."

Narla
looks back at him, a flicker of question in her eyes now. His was acting strangely compared to the second before but she keeps quiet about it, "Only if you want to. I don't want to overstay a welcome." She allows a little humor to cross her lips again.

Kinderz
nods, relaxed now. Gains his composure, but forcing his chest to heave up/down as though he was breathing. He didn't need to breathe, but the thought and action of it sometimes calmed him down when he's tensed. He fingers his chin, momentarily. "Maybe stay a ways behind me, I don't know if the person I'm with is the friendliest? Take some caution." he begins walking back to the place he had targeted.

Narla
nods without argument and falls in line behind him.

Kinderz
when he reaches Grayson and Adley he stands next to a nearby wall. Unseen. He didn't want to actually touch their presence yet. He looks at her for a moment before watching them again. "Just don't go near them. Let them come to you/me."

Narla
agrees with another dip of her chin. She did not want to come so close regardless.. her gaze travels from the two others, to the other paths deeper into the sewers. She watched a bloodied, properly dressed man pass from and through wall to wall, endlessly confused.. Narla wondered how long he had been dead.. and whether she would join them today.. A thoughtful haze fell over her eyes.

Kinderz
watches as the two men he had successfully traced disappeared from his sights. "N-no. Tell me you didn't see them vanish." he orders, desperately. He had just found them. Geez. It was never easy for him and foolish that he had got his hopes up. Hopefully this was a lesson he would remember in the future. He sighs standing beside her now, the only other prey in his wake. He wasn't planning on eating her or fighting her, but to fight logic with logic through words alone was defense enough. He lets the smirk come alive now.

Narla
flinches free of her trance when she hears him speak again, and quickly turns to see the two men they waited for were no longer there. She blinks, then finds herself staring with a greater intrigue at the only other man she was with. The possibility of those two strangers being ghosts was the very first thought that popped into her head. The next was whether that was true.. and if that meant the displeased person beside her saw the dead the way she did, too. "That happens to me, too.."

Kinderz
"You can't track people correctly either? Well, we're practically twinsies." he snaps, in a foul mood. He kneels beside a puddle and places two fingers in it trying to feel any echoing vibrations. In a place like this, with wall like these, sound always stayed a few minutes after. "I don't get it. There's no reoccurring sounds. Like they were never here even though I saw them. What the hell?!" Out of anger he hits, with his fist, into the puddle. Then he sighs. He stands, appearing a little defeated. "I won't give up."

Narla
frowns quietly, "Maybe it isn't the right time yet.. Why do you want to meet them?"

Kinderz
frowns profusely at her question, quite intriguing she was to have felt brave enough to say what she says. "I think, that's my business, acquaintance."

Narla
's mouth shut quickly and she looks down at her shoes with a smile. "You're right. I'm sorry." With that, her attention strays back down the paths, trying to track where they came from.
